Suppose there was a cure for troll that cost 15,000,000 per dose. Would you say it should be covered by health insurance? Would you pay for it out of pocket if you had the money?

Yes, I would.

I made an enormous vegetable soup, to last us for a while. The ingredients were:

1 Parsnips

2 Carrots

3 Radishes

4 Baby Bella Mushrooms

5 Onion

6 Yellow and Green Pepper

7 Zucchini

8 Yellow Squash

9 Diced Garlic

10 Soy sauce

11 ground Black Pepper

12 Salt (table and kosher)

13 Crushed red pepper flakes

14 Fresh basil (from our basil plant)

15 Dried basil

16 Parsley

17 Fresh dill

18 molasses (don’t tell my husband)

19 Water

20 a pinch of chili

My husband baked asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

He’s now making Boston Baked beans, and fried the onions in butter, like a real man does.

If it really does follow the rules you may resubmit. We are human and make mistakes and occasionally something is deleted that shouldn’t have been. Just resubmit without asking why if you are sure it is fine.

Most of the time, however, it is people who are trying to get something past moderation that is explicitly forbidden in the rules. They think we can’t google the reference or won’t notice a link or will ignore double entendres or don’t care that they’re trying to elicit information about another poster.

Then they resubmit without the reference or the link and so on and complain we didn’t post their original comment.

It’s part of the job. As long as it follows the guidelines it gets posted.

We can tell when people don’t read the rules for posting because they are always asking why their posts aren’t being approved. If they would read the rules, they could figure out for themselves why it wasn’t approved.
