“I’ve been offered rides from frum-looking strangers while waiting at the bus stop”
I imagine they have caged-in areas for animals. Let’s be realistic, who would want a loose wolf in their car?
Y.W. EditorKeymaster29, why did you tell 80 about the party going down today that he wasn’t invited to?
We need to call in the damage control team now…..and they can be such a huge pain.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterPreviously been discussed here:

January 5, 2011 5:48 pm at 5:48 pm in reply to: If You Had Sixty Seconds With Dovid Hamelech,What Would You Say? #725755Y.W. EditorKeymasterlkwdfellow – His very exact words in yiddish were “Bist du meshuga”.
I heard this with my own ears.
We know…it’s hard for a Lakewood person to hear such “nivul peh” like those words uttered by the gadol hador….
Have a great day.
January 5, 2011 5:23 pm at 5:23 pm in reply to: If You Had Sixty Seconds With Dovid Hamelech,What Would You Say? #725751Y.W. EditorKeymasterHagon Rav Shmuel Berenbaum (whose yartzheit was yesterday) was asked a week before he was Niftar:
“You have said thousands of shiurim on Rav Akiva Eiger’s in your life….what will you say to him when you meet him in Shomayim?”
His (exact) response: “Say to Rav Akiva Eiger?! Are you nuts?! I will be instantly burnt up to a crisp from his kedusha!!”.
And you guys are talking about Dovid Hamelech?
What a childish question.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterThis might answer your questions. But don’t worry…Bloomberg says everything is fine.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterDidn’t understand your question.
My apologies.
He’s a direct descendant. (An Einikle of the Gaon)
Y.W. EditorKeymasterHow is it possible for him to be a grandson or a great grandson?
Do you know when the Gaon was Niftar?
Y.W. EditorKeymastercharliehall, have you spoken to Mr. Pollard yourself ever and asked him all the facts? Have you spoken to his attorney’s?
I have.
I visited Pollard last winter, and will be going again shortly.
Op-Ed: If I Forget Thee… Tears in North Carolina (Visiting Jonathan Pollard)
Your dead wrong on 99.99% of the items you say, and the person who wrote the book is dead wrong as well.
Perhaps its would pay do do some independant research, and not rely on others.

Y.W. EditorKeymasterBecause Mod 80, is Mod 80 and Mod 80 only.
Most Mods don’t post comments, although they can do so if they wish.
It’s extremely childish to have multiple usernames, and only insecure people with issues do that. There are people (mainly one person) here who starts an argument, and then they need “weight” and lots of comments defending their (many times insane) positions.
Why people do that, we have yet to figure out.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterI appreciate the support. However, he apologized and I accepted. Let’s just move forward from here.
I don’t want this to turn into “pile on YIW.” 🙂 Instead, let’s just focus on the discussion at hand (which you did in the next paragraph).
Good point.

Good.
Ask your LOR.
CLOSED.
Y.W. EditorKeymastershlomozalman “1. The video is definitely not a problem as mentioned above.”
There are poskim who hold it’s chillul shabbos to walk in front of a CCTV camera on shabbos.
For example, the Posek Hador, Rav Elyashiv Shlita, holds that you are not allowed to walk through the old city of Yerushalayim on Shabbos due to the security cameras.
He very well may be a daas yochid on this, but don’t write “definitely” not a problem.
I believe that the Debertziner Rav has a Teshuva on this. I could be wrong.
Most yeshivos now have security cameras, so it would lead one to assume that a shaila was asked, although this might be only because yeshivas are a terror target. Again….I don’t know for sure.
In any event, ask a posek.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterBlackberry is the ultimate for anyone who emails alot.

Let us know.
FYI: No one calls Hatzolah directly in Israel. They get dispatched through MDA, and don’t even have ambulances. They are a first response system (a very good one!) before MDA gets there, and do this with their scooters, and private vehicles.

Y.W. EditorKeymaster#1- Did you call Torah Umesorah?
#2- Did you call their Rabbonim to confirm your accusations before spilling them to half a million people?
Y.W. EditorKeymasterTwo items:
#1- We are working to see if we can have an option showing when a mod is online.
#2- More mods are being added in the very near future. They are currently in an undisclosed location undergoing tough training.
If you feel you would qualify as a mod, you can always tell us a bit about yourself, and why you are prepared to undergo the training (which by the way, makes IDF training look like a joke!) Use this link http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/contact.php

Y.W. EditorKeymasterSeems this individual is fascinated with killings, Moshiach, the end of time, and some other topics which were not even approved…
Y.W. EditorKeymasterFYI: The halacha clearly states that “you don’t need to be careful in a bais medrash – since woman don’t come into it” – unless it’s a shul that has a “Rabba” of course, and in that case the halacha was wrong all those years, and Rabbi Avi Weiss was right….
Happy birthday, and kisiva vachasima tova….
Y.W. EditorKeymasterHaven’t found a lowfat one in the archives. Just this one http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/potato-kugel
