Perhaps this is why Reb Matisyahu Salimon announced in the name of Rav Elyashiv Shlit”a and other gedolim that its assur for a woman to go to college.

Also good is, Journeys I- It had to be Hashem.
There are some other grate songs on Journeys I, That sound so simple and reasonable. they can really inspire one to belive. The Koach Hanagina can hit the rite cords in a Neshama.

yunger mannMemberTruth be told-
What?
yunger mannMemberIs there a Rav who set guide lines for the coffe room? and if yes can we know who?
I think that would answer many of the questions.
yunger mannMemberWell said Derech Hamelech. Chochma Bagoyim has nothing to do with this.
yunger mannMemberBoth, your chayiv “Levisumei” on till “Ad dilo yoda”.
yunger mannMemberI’m sure you can make an arangemant like that with all shadchanim
yunger mannMemberThey have it in Kosher Village in the fridge on the back wall with the frozen fish. Also ypu can buy tuna from the fish store and make tuna roll its delicious and easy to make
yunger mannMemberThank you Hashem for the government programs that you give me. That allows me to sit and learn!
yunger mannMemberDAAS YOCHID- Cant get that with my filter what does it say
yunger mannMembershabbos halacha le’masseh
yunger mannMemberMods- can you put an end to this?
yunger mannMemberyunger mannMemberTruth teller- I couldn’t find you’re post of you’re analogy of why i’m Joseph any where. I wanted to repost it as an analogy why YOU sound like him.
yunger mannMemberPushuteh- I don’t think Reb Chaim shlit”a says change. rather he says to add.
yunger mannMemberPeople make them all the time. I dont think they have specific dates.
yunger mannMemberyunger mannMemberTo me it sounds like you understand it just fine. its them who don’t.
yunger mannMemberOh gosh im not that bad and I don’t have much knowledge of obscure sefarim I bought that sefer when I had a Shaila someone suggested it
yunger mannMemberSender- See my above post on that question.
yunger mannMemberOk my friend take a chill.
Here is another complement: You sound like a person who stands up for emess
yunger mannMemberiyhbyu- Everyone should do what they please. I’m not here to give hadracha. Were chatting and i’m giving my opinion just like every one else.
yunger mannMemberTruth teller- You where medayik like a lamdin, now think like a lamdin. I was not sosser my self. I merely told you what your Rav would probably say if you told him what Reb Chaim shlit”a says.
As for the story perhaps it was told over to me wrong.
As far as:
yunger mannMemberjaymat- thank you. My point all along was just to say what Reb Caim shlit”a holds, Not what you should do. All i said was ask your Rav.
yunger mannMemberiybuhu-I bought the sefer in Torah Tresures in Lakewood. I thought it would be every where perhaps im mistaking.
I think every one SHOULD ask their Rav. i never said not to.
As for the fire many people have heard this. Read the posts.
Gutt Shabbos
yunger mannMemberIts a haskama. Sorry i was trying to answer you. Perhaps i did’nt understand the question the first time.
yunger mannMemberyunger mannMemberMost of the names are brought down in the sefer.
The mechaber says he went through many names with Reb Chaim shlit”a. that Reb Chaim shlit”a said where no good and go in the category with Shira of modern names.
I wish I could provide more info about the sefer but I think I left it by my parents (I brought it there to show my brother when he was making a briss).
Every name besides some Yiddish ones are clearly recorded in this sefer and the mekoross for them are there as well.
If any one is interested in buying this sefer, the sefer is sold in all seforim stores.
yunger mannMemberIs every one missing that I quoted a sefer about this? which has the haskama of many poskim birosham Rav Ovadia Yosef shlit”a.
I find it hard to believe too many posskim would paskin such a shaila if they heard Reb Chaim shlit”a has a contrary opinion.
yunger mannMemberDoodle- I’m not saying any thing its Reb Chaim shlit”a who says it and yes he says it about all modern Israeli names.
Frummy- Reb Chaim shlit”a does not differentiate between before you name or after he says clearly to change after.
Derech- The sefer is all about naming. As for whom the mechaber is, the sefer is not in front of me rite now. Ill bl”n try to get back to you on that.
yunger mannMemberyunger mannMemberCB1- Assur is the rong word.
I happen to own a sefer called “V’korey Shmoi B’yisroel” where its brought down from Reb Chaim shlit”a that all modern names (and Shira was one of them), are not names at all and that any one with those names needs to ad a name and be called by the new one only.
Also my wife knows someone named Shira who Reb Chaim shlit”a told to add or change (im no sure which) their name. And he told them to make a kiddush when they do so. The girl now goes by a different name.
You can see many of the names Reb Chaim shlit”a spoke about in this sefer many are popular names today adopted from Hebrew.
I would consult with a Rav if I where you.
yunger mannMemberAm I the only one that likes what Joseph says?
Let him have fun and change names big deal, every ones names are fake so what if he has a few. He has an ideology to push. Let him do it how he wants. No one said you should believe any one
yunger mannMemberOomis and others
Hi im a yunger mann learning in Lakewood im married for a bit under three years. At the time of my engagement my father and my father in-law made up that my father in-law would support me and my wife for five years. Unfortunately at the end of two years my father in-law informed me that duo to the economy he is not doing well and he will no longer be able to keep to his commitment. Duo to a specific Occurrence he decided to continue giving us a very small percentage of what he was giving up on till then.
Oh! And did I forget to mention that I grew up in Lakewood and that my father spent over 11 years in kollel while my mother had a small home business on till my father became a rebbi in a local mossed . we where very happy we lacked nothing we had nice clothes went on nice vacations and we lived in a nice home hashem took care of my parents and he continues to provide for them and their children. So that whole second generation kollel theory is bogus. if one douse what hashem wants from him he can put his trust in hashem he always comes through!
I think my life and the life of my parents disproves a lot of what many of you have been saying.
Thank you for reading this. Yunger mann
