Sorry I took so long. I was at work. It is possible I got a mention depending on whose cd it is. I have been out of the music industry for a little while (around a year) so the likelihood is a little lower. But as I said, it depends on who is on the cd.

Ayc: you missed his point. It isn’t the person in the gas chamber, it is the person operating. His point is faulty either way though because jobs can’t be blamed for what one chooses to download on his i-pod. People seem not to understand that when one buys an i-pod there is nothing on it so how exactly is it innately harmful, even if there is potential? Just because something has a potential for evil, dependent on how the person uses it, does not make it evil.

The way I see it is, guys tend to be more introvertive when it comes to sharing their emotions and such and even if they do share, guys aren’t necessarily going to (be able to) empathize the same way that a girl would so they wouldn’t get the necessary release to get over it faster thereby they will seemingly hold in the hurt from a rejection making it seem like they take it harder. Girls on the other hand, typically will go and share with a close, trusted, best friend getting things off their chest, making it seem like they take it easier because they (usually) get over it faster.

guys, back off of GumBall. how many times does she have to repeat herself before you actually read what she says. she already said twice before that her parents let and are ok with what she is doing. you can tell from her posts that she is mature (ok i can tell). i personally trust that she is telling the truth (why shouldn’t she? besides, why don’t you look on those threads which you think are inappropriate and tell me if you see her screen name there). sheesh!

i say take her out for a good time and get some bonding time in to show you are not looking to step on any toes and you just want to be her older sibling. that’s what i did with my younger sister. on top of that, i also let her know that i am not coming back and re-claiming anything, and that i just wanted to help.

Haleivi: no I am talking about bumping into parents of girls where there was real emotional investment. You know what was worse? Bumping into the girl herself.

Um I don’t know that one should make a general statement that ‘boys can handle it’ in regards to emotional investment. It’s hard for us too, we just don’t (like to) show it. I still get uncomfortable when I bump into parents of girls that I have dated.

ronrsr: i am in the center for distance learning (entirely online which includes full on virtual campus which includes interaction) as i do work full time during the day.

After being three years out of high school, I now return to academics to pursue a degree (business management, focus in warehouse management). I start after succos. Believe it or not I am actually very excited!

it is perfectly ok and a lot of times actually good to cry as actually, crying relieves stress thereby allowing you to have (at least somewhat of) a clearer head to take a clearer look at the situation allowing you a greater chance of properly dealing with the issue. in my book it is perfectly fine to have what others may perceive as little things bother you, so long as you don’t allow them to overwhelm you (well this is really with any issue regardless of size) and you at some point face the problem and work out a way to counter/take care of it
