of course i plan on sticking around (obviously only as much time lets) the only issue would be what happens with me next year (switching yeshivas, life events, etc.,)
and i am NOT taking a break i am taking a forced intermission (i REFUSE to call it rehab (but that is likely what it will be :_( daven for me!!)

i am here at least for the next few days (with a little bit of davening, learning, sleeping, and eating in between)
wow my parents still have these tapes and whenever a younger neighbor or my nieces and nephews come over we play them. i don’t remember all the lyrics but as soon as i see the song i usually remember the tune

wow it seems like a lot of people are leaving for the summer i mean i was away for this past shabbos and will IY”H be going away next shabbos until say around tuesday (unless i can get to the library) and THEN comes the more intense part of my EMT course …. see where this is going?
basically there will still be those on here who aren’t busy and those who are busy just won’t be on as often until they’re done (and then hopefully come back) this (seems to be) is a sad time for the CR (even if we do get new/more members that is a different type of happiness)

does anyone know if there is a way to do an automatic search in the coffee room or is it all manual?
i wouldn’t mind people knowing who i am. i am sort of a people person once i get to know someone a little bit (and doing it anonymously counts which would thereby include just about everyone in YWNCR)
why? do you do it “old” style with actual leaves (i personally would actually like to taste a cup of that stuff it is rumored to be good)
deliberatelyesoteric: absolutely…..NOT! but the feeling could just come from the fact that although you are (being) prepared it is still unexpected (i mean come on who expects to be ready for a major change in life)

coffee gal: i am already going into my second year of being out of highschool and i still have the same feelings. they are normal, but what i did was start teaching and keep a kesher with my students and the SCHOOLS i went to. if there are friends i keep in touch with them ’cause they were my friend not because we went to school together (not that i didn’t keep a kesher with those i went to school with) and i still do miss the camaraderie (and the pranks and such but we wont tell anyone that-oops i think i just did, oh well)
o.k. jax you asked for it i am ready and able but don’t expect anything too sharp we’re only learning the sixth perek in brochos for summer zman

young: weel really i only took 9th and 12th but i was held back in pre 1a or something like that (so my mother tells me) but i got the necessary education and am now happily in beis medrash and on my way to becoming an EMT

ha! maybe (hopefully i wont be blocked for suggesting this) just maybe we haven’t had any good stories fit for print and they (the “espionagers”) are just browsing for a good one
shtarky: sorry i would give you my father’s/sister’s recipes but there are 2 issues
1) i don’t know the recipes that well
2) supposedly, secret ingredients that are only disclosed to my knowledge when a child gets married and is making the cholent themselves
so if you are willing to wait a couple of years i could help you then :_(
mepal: if you like vegetable soup my sister has a very good orange (based on the color not contents!) soup.
recipe: take any orange vegetables (carrot, squash, pumpkin, etc.,) cook until soft (no real necessity for water). saute onions/garlic for spice. mush together (if soft enough with a fork) until you get a soupy texture (via the juices extracted from the vegetables).
eat and enjoy! (i have never actually tasted it but my father without knowing that there were vegetable in there that he didn’t like said it was very good)
hey if that is all it takes to get posted around here then i will b’ezras Hashem do them voluntarily

wow! the last time i remember getting a present for my b-day was a looong time ago (it was a birthday cake with candles that i whined for) and hopefully, finally i will be getting my (highschool) graduation trip (a year after it happened although technically age wise it is a year before it happened)

not that i know enough (nor am i a kiruv rabbi) but i personally think that it (unchecked exposure/exposure b’chlal) is not just an issue with individuals but rather an issue starting to spread amongst jewish communities everywhere (you can take me or some of my friends/people that i know as examples)
