Schools have rules; and homes have rules in even more so.

Huju: The New York Times reported it multiple times. It didn’t call it Dr. Z’s protocol but rather it identified the medication cocktail the large number of hospitals across the US and world were using and stated it was what President Trump was promoting that didn’t yet have medical science proving its effectiveness.

I think it can be reasonably inferred that when a person can be subjected to the death penalty, he/she is no longer a boy/girl but rather a man/woman.

Would you refer to a 29 year old as a boy? Then you cannot refer to a 29 year old as a girl.

Dovid, check up the meaning of a boy reaching Bar Mitzvah and of a girl reaching Bas Mitzvah.

Huju, forget about what’s a “better answer”; the only question was if the answer given was correct or, if not, what minor correction was needed that it shouldn’t be incorrect — not necessarily “the best.”

The fact is that the childish fighting between Gov. Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio over “who is the boss” (something that they’ve been acting like adolescents for the last 5 years over) caused a delay in both the closing of the schools and delayed the stay at home orders, causing the spread of the virus.

There are many more older women than older men in shidduchim. At least according to the age gap theory. As such, given that there’s an overabundance of older women without good prospects, due to the demographic imbalance, it would seem the guys should have a comparatively easier time finding a zivug.

Phil: False. Montana has a much lower per capita cases of coronavirus than Israel. Montana also has a much lower per capita death rate than Israel (comparing the number of deaths against the total population.)

You had to take Montana’s tiny rate of infection against its total number of deaths (16 deaths in the entire State of Montana!) to come up with your meaningless comparative figure point.

Montana: 16 deaths out of a population of 1.069 million.

Israel: 235 deaths out of a population of 8.884 million.

    You do the math.

CTL: Why would any State ever agree to waive sovereign immunity in any case against it (or for that matter against any city, county or municipality within the State, which effectively are all units of the State), if it could save itself from any lawsuits by not waiving it?

Additionally, regarding the OP here, is it not the case that when it comes to potential federal constitutional rights violations that a State cannot claim sovereign immunity? i.e. If a State outlawed the free press in the State, it couldn’t avoida lawsuit by refusing to waive immunity.

Explain how a) permitting some businesses to open for employees and customers but b) forbidding religions from opening their places of worship for ministers and congregants passes muster under the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Secondly, did New York even actually forbid places of worship from opening? Or did they just limit the number of people who can be there at the same time?
