The Democrat party has for many decades coddled and elevated antisemites. Whether Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrahkan, Jeremiah Wright or many many others. Today’s Democrat party antisemites in Congress and elsewhere in the ranks of Democrats are nothing new. They are simply an acceleration of the anti-Semitic direction where the Democrat has been heading over the past 40-50 years.

The Republicans on the other hand have, since WWII, rejected the antisemites who tried to claim the Republican label. Unlike the Democrats.

Rav Avigdor Miller on The Superiority of Lubavitcher Jews

Q:  Why do Lubavitcher chassidim consider themselves superior to litvisheh Jews?

A: First of all, Lubavitcher chassidim are mostly litvisheh Jews you have to know. They are litvishe Jews. And if they consider themselves superior, so we can ask the same question: Why is it that most non-Lubavitcher chassidim consider themselves superior to Lubavitcher chassidim? Why do Breslover chassidim consider themselves superior to Lubavitcher chassidim? And why do Satmerer chassidim consider themselves superior to Breslover chassidim? And the answer is that all idealists who follow certain systems, they do it because they think it’s the best system – otherwise they’d follow a different system. It’s common sense! What should a man be a Lubavitcher if he thinks something else is better? Why should a non-Lubavitcher be non-Lubavitcher unless he thinks that it’s better. All idealists follow the system they follow because they think it’s the best.

Now, who is going to be the arbiter and say who is the best? Moshiach will come, and in order to keep peace between everybody, he’ll say, “You’re all the best!” And the truth is that they areall the best. But right now, it’s not really a question if the Lubavitcheh feel superior, because if you ask a litvishe yeshiva bochur, he feels he’s superior. Ask a Satmarer and he feels he’s superior. And go into a sefardisheh yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel, go into Porat Yosef, and he’s knows that he’s superior too. Everyone is superior.

And the answer is that’s how idealists have to be. No idealist will do something that he thinks is not superior.

RY23: I don’t believe that is comparatively accurate. Indeed, certainly now and over the past 50 years the non-white population in the United States have been greatest perpetrators of anti-semitic violence, certainly on a per capita basis if not even an actual majority (despite being a minority), compared to the white population.

A good first start would be for the Attorney General of the United States to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate and prosecute any crimes associated with the false framing of the Trump Campaign leading to the unnecessary investigation based on demonstrably false information such as Christopher Steele’s Trump–Russia dossier that was likely created by Russian intelligence to undermine Donald Trump. The new Special Prosecutor can also investigate where Hillary Clinton as well as Barack Obama and leading members of his administration fit into potentially creating a tool to undermine the incoming U.S. administration.

Either Rudy Giuliani, as a former Associate Attorney General of the United States and former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, or Chris Christie, as a former U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey and former Governor of New Jersey, would be a great choice for this appointment.

I reckon that the Special Counsel would likely wrap up his investigation and be in mid of some prosecutions by mid to late 2020.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I simply described Torah Judaism and specifically how Hashem created people and the world. If some non-Jews (whites, blacks or any race) recognize and accept these facts, all the better for it.

Furthermore, the President should order the Federal Bureau of Investigations to forthwith open a political corruption, abuse of official power and potentially treason and an attempted coup de’tat investigation into Democrat leaders of the House. These Democrats should be treated no differently than common criminals during the course of the investigation by the FBI.

And if charges are warranted on any of these crimes, they should be arrested and given the same perp walk in front of the cameras as any low life criminal would face. Their status as ranking members of the House notwithstanding, as it implies no immunity or defense for attempting to overthrow the democratically elected government of the United States of America by abusing official parliamentary power in the pursuit of naked political aims.

I can already envision a barely awake, hands neatly cuffed behind his back, Jerry Nadler being led out of his home in the early morning, flanked by two burly uniformed Special Agents of the FBI. Network television cameras, having somehow gotten the scoop in advance, duly documenting the unfolding story, as he’s whisked into the FBI vehicle that brings him straight to the courthouse for his arraignment. Beginning a months long process of court house appearances for bail requests, setting of trial dates and other pleadings.

    1. The President should issue an executive order declaring the Democrat Chairmen in the House as being in Contempt of the Presidency. As one of the three coequal branches of government, the President has the same right to issue a Contempt citation as do the courts and Congress.

    2. The President should invoke his constitutional right to “Executive Privilege” on all requests from the House. If they go to court, which can take years going through the judicial system (Obama’s A.G. Eric Holder’s official Contempt is still unresolved in the courts over six years later), the President can run out of the clock.

    3. The United States Senate should preemptively vote that it will and does “dismiss with prejudice” any and all impeachment proceedings from the House on the basis that the House acted purely out of political malice and not on any sound legal basis. And that the Senate will throw out any impeachment without even trying it.

Yseribus — Your lack of knowledge on this clearly indicates that you are not well read. Anywhere outside of extreme leftist circles you will find discrimination against whites widely discussed. Including in mainstream conservative and centrist publications and forums. Whether vis-a-vis “affirmative action”, a topic that has been widely discussed and denounced, not to mention highly litigated against over the past 25+ years, as discriminatory against whites, or whether regarding the more recent “progressive”/leftist denunciations (including in the mainstream press, which as every fair-minded person knows is extremely left-wing) of anyone not supporting virtually any left-wing minority who disagrees with any non-leftist white guy. Or really anyone who disagrees with the liberal agenda, in general.

You should read more than just the DailyKos and HuffPost, Yseribus. If you would, you couldn’t possibly have missed such an obvious and widely known topic.

Yseribus: You prove my point in the OP. Had this topic raised the issue of blacks being targeted or discriminated against, you’d raise not a word in protest at that possibility. Yet the very mere idea that white’s are being discriminated against (even aside from the fact that it is emphatically true as DovidBT pointed out) you find the concept intolerable and it gets you yelling white supremacist in the true “progressive” mode of attempting to silent dissent against the politically correct line of white guys=bad, minorities=good.

After all the seforim didn’t specify the number of square kilometers that is ostentatious, even though they did denounce ostentatious homes. So pretend there’s no such thing since anyone can redefine their ostentatious home as not being what the seforim hakedoshim are referring to.

If you look around online you can find a picture of R’ Aron Wolfssohn Halle, the Rov of Hildesheim in the early 1800s and a Yekke, with long curly (just like the Chasidim today) peyos. You can also find a picture of R Eliezer Lipman Zilberman, the editor in the late 1800s of the Maggid L’Yisroel newspaper in Berlin, and also a Yekke, with long curly peyos.

And, as is well known, the Teimanim have had long curly peyos since antiquity times. This is certainly the traditional way Yidden went.

See Gitin 58a where R’ Yehoshua ben Chanania sees a beautiful boy, with curly peyos, in prison. R’ Yehoshua ben Chanania cried out, citing Yeshaiah 42:24, “Mi noasan limshissah Yaaqov,
veyisrale’ levozezim, halo Hashem?” The [future R’] Yishmael ben Elisha completed the posek from his cell, “Zu, chatanu lo…. vayishpokh alava
    cheimah apo…”

We see from this Gemera that curly peyos was considered part of a young Jewish boy’s beauty as far back as the days of the Tannaim. ( R’ Yehoshua ben Chanania died right before R’ Akiva joined bar Kochva, 131 CE.)

The Chasidim simply didn’t change the way Yidden went for centuries and millennia. Like Shuali pointed out, the Litvish also went with long flowing peyos in front of the ears originally. Including the Vilna Gaon, etc. But in the prewar years things got weaker in both peyos and dress in general. Litvaks also used to all wear a long rekel and many even shtreimals. But starting in the mid to late 1800s the goyishe authorities in Russia, which controlled Lithuania until almost WWI, forced the Yidden to stop dressing very overtly as Yidden. The Chasidim resisted but the Litvishe rabbonim allowed some changes due to the shas hadchak.
