It isn’t tznius for a woman to be doing male activities, such as carrying a radio on their clothing, ruining around or speeding on the streets to get to someone.

June 7, 2017 10:35 am at 10:35 am in reply to: What Happened With Ezras Nashim In Boro Park On Monday Night? #1291235JosephParticipantAvram, in the frum neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Hatzalah often arrives in about a minute. This is very possible because there are Hatzalah members distributed within a block of most frum families.
June 7, 2017 8:29 am at 8:29 am in reply to: How come all frum Jews today aren’t Chassidic? #1291096JosephParticipantChaver, by the early ’80s Satmar had over 100,000 across the US, Canada, Europe and Eretz Yisroel. Today they have over three times as many yeshiva bochorim than 30 years ago.
JosephParticipantWhat’s the weather like tomorrow?
June 7, 2017 12:44 am at 12:44 am in reply to: How come all frum Jews today aren’t Chassidic? #1291027JosephParticipantLB: Satmar, Ger, Bobov, Vizhnitz, Stolin, Tosh, Klausenberg, Skvere, etc. are all very much Chasidic.
June 7, 2017 12:38 am at 12:38 am in reply to: What Happened With Ezras Nashim In Boro Park On Monday Night? #1291011JosephParticipantWasn’t that popa’s thing?
JosephParticipantI think it used to cost 35 cents per call to the time or weather (or other 976 number.)
June 6, 2017 11:48 pm at 11:48 pm in reply to: What Happened With Ezras Nashim In Boro Park On Monday Night? #1290950JosephParticipantAnd if not for Hatzolah not allowing goyim to join their organization, there would be no need for EMS?
JosephParticipantIt only gave the minute and seconds, not the hour.
JosephParticipant976-1616? Or was that the weather. Now you can go to time dot gov.

June 6, 2017 11:46 pm at 11:46 pm in reply to: ARE MOST YEMENITE JEWS IN ERETZ YISRAEL FRUM? #1290930JosephParticipantThe Zionists forcibly cut off the Teimani children’s peyos, kidnapped their children and unwillingly placed them in irreligious homes after separating siblings.
JosephParticipantA dog is a low animal. Would you have a pet pig?
June 6, 2017 11:17 pm at 11:17 pm in reply to: How come all frum Jews today aren’t Chassidic? #1290938JosephParticipantChabad Lubavitch is one Chasidus out of many. Satmar alone has over 200,000 Chasidim in North America, Europe and Eretz Yisroel.

June 6, 2017 7:44 pm at 7:44 pm in reply to: What Happened With Ezras Nashim In Boro Park On Monday Night? #1290859JosephParticipantThe girls from Ezras Noshim were probably shocked at the blood or dire situation so they froze.
Remind me why EZ exists when we have Hatzalah.
June 6, 2017 12:10 pm at 12:10 pm in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1290105JosephParticipantKlal Yisroel will be attending the Asifa on Sunday, led by the gedolei rabbonim shlita, to stand with Acheinu Bnei Yisroel in Eretz HaKodesh as they stand under threat by the government authorities.
June 6, 2017 11:23 am at 11:23 am in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1290090JosephParticipantFrom what I hear there will be a live hookup to multiple cities across the US, Canada and Europe during this Asifa with masses of Gedolim and Bnei Torah around the world able to participate at designated locations if they aren’t able to be in New York.
JosephParticipantAPY, are you arguing that if someone knows for a fact that a certain kosher certification does not insure its certified products are kosher as long as the food manafacturer pays the agencies fees, that that information can not be publicly (online and offline) announced that Agency X by Rabbi Y certifies products that may be non-kosher, so that the public is forewarned from relying on them?
JosephParticipantmentch1, the menfolk are supposed to bring the intellectual side of things, which should take precedence over the emotional side of things.
JosephParticipantThe OP is correct. “Fake” jewelry is just as good as “real” jewelry if you could hardly tell the difference.
Don’t waste yiddishe gelt on “real” jewelry.
Furthermore, diamond rings for engagements is not a Jewish minhag; it comes directly from the diamond industry and is of relatively very recent vintage.
Don’t give diamond engagement rings.
June 6, 2017 2:13 am at 2:13 am in reply to: Let’s talk about that Yiddish and ancient Ashkenaz article #1289863JosephParticipantScientists change their minds about true science every few decades or so. Much of yesteryear’s science has been overturned and much of today’s science will be overturned in the decades ahead.

June 5, 2017 5:59 pm at 5:59 pm in reply to: Is it illegal for the president to delete a tweet? #1289747JosephParticipantSo every covfefe typo must be archived?
June 5, 2017 5:02 pm at 5:02 pm in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1289714JosephParticipantDM: That so-called letter was barely distributed to anyone other than four sanitation workers. It was produced by Zionists who “miraculously” discovered the(ir own) letter was a forgery (by themselves.)
The bottom line is various gedolei yisroel shlita from the yeshivish, litvish and chasidish rabbonim not only endorsed it but will personally attend it. Some of them are bringing their talmidei hayeshiva with them, in an indication of how strongly they see it’s importance, while other roshei yeshiva chose to have their regular limudei Torah shiurim, as they hold that’s what will stop the reshoyim in the Israeli government. Nevertheless, whichever mehalach each of them chose not a single godol hador is on the record as not supporting the Asifa. All who have spoken of it publicly support it whether or not they are sending their yungerleit to attend or to learn.
June 5, 2017 12:17 pm at 12:17 pm in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1289586JosephParticipantI’ve already made extra contributions last week to Yeshiva Gedolah Zichron Moshe of South Fallsburg, Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar and Yeshiva Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin to support their efforts in organizing and bussing their talmidim and yungerleit to this Asifa.
Once I find out the other sponsors and supporters I’ll make those additional contributions accordingly.
There was also a so-called counter-protest outside of Citifield during the technology Asifa. But today no one even remembers those half a dozen losers.
JosephParticipantCTL, what was your aim/goal in being that representative?
June 4, 2017 10:47 pm at 10:47 pm in reply to: Geordie613 are you okay? 🤵🌰🇬🇧☕ #1289408JosephParticipantLondon bridge is falling down…

June 4, 2017 10:27 pm at 10:27 pm in reply to: Is it illegal for the president to delete a tweet? #1289392JosephParticipantDorah, so if the President sends Eric Trump an email from his personal account asking his thoughts about healthcare, it must be sent to the National Archives from his trumporganization.com address?
JosephParticipantCTL, then how else would you define a “Honorary Consul”?
Also, why did they need a consulate in Tel Aviv, considering that’s where the embassies themselves are located. (A bit like having a consulate in D.C.)
JosephParticipantAs a general rule regarding any specific hechsher, how could consumers know whether it is reliable or unreliable?
JosephParticipantDE is marked as D. How would you know it is DE?
JosephParticipantCTL, I effectively said the same thing regarding the embassy location requiring agreement by the host country. Regarding consulates, consuls are by and large diplomatic officers from the foreign country with diplomatic immunity in the host country. What you are referring to are “honorary consuls”, which fits the description you gave.
JosephParticipantAlaska or Siberia are two nice locations to consider.
JosephParticipantOther important elements. A new language could always be learnt.
June 4, 2017 2:21 pm at 2:21 pm in reply to: Is it illegal for the president to delete a tweet? #1289242JosephParticipantThe President is entitled to have a personal non-government Twitter account that he posts his personal and partisan political views to. A government account would not permit him to post partisan politics activities to. And he can treat his non-government social media account the same way any American can.
June 4, 2017 11:15 am at 11:15 am in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1289208JosephParticipantThe technology Asifa was a roaring success. As a direct result of it you, today, have TAG offices worldwide helping Yidden install filters, something many folks were blissfully unaware of before the worldwide series of technology Asifas that took place starting at Citifield.
If you feel you’re smarter than the gedolei yisroel shlita, and you know better than them when yes and when not to conduct asifas, I suggest you give them a call with a piece of your mind.
Or, become a godol b’yisroel.
Until such point and time the masses of Bnei Torah will continue to follow our Torah leaders and attend asifas they call. Like the technology Asifa at Citifield and like next weeks Asifa at Barclays.
JosephParticipantLengthen the night psychologically.
JosephParticipantIt’s like having one foot out the door.
JosephParticipantAny four letter word is assur.
JosephParticipantDovid, the two countries need to agree on a location. If they can’t agree, then there won’t be any embassy.
JosephParticipantDo you reckon that if an individual can be an equally good and effective a) Klei Kodesh b) CPA or c) computer programmer, that he is being the same Eved Hashem should be choose ‘b’ or ‘c’ rather than ‘a’?
JosephParticipantCTL, is your first adopted child of Jewish birth? How did she, if not, and your second handle their choice of Judaism continuance at bas mitzvah?
June 2, 2017 12:06 pm at 12:06 pm in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1288937JosephParticipantThere are not plenty such cases whatsoever. Your false accusations against talmidei chachomim and gedolei rabbonim shlita violates numerous issurim with its falsity. Take your animosity against Judaism elsewhere.
June 2, 2017 11:25 am at 11:25 am in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1288917JosephParticipantSyag, clearly you aren’t following the sub-conversation. ZD alleged the gedolei rabbonim shlita callously disregard, tolerate and honor thieves , abusers and aguna creators. This is a blatant lie. And I am pointing out that zd’s supposed parallels are no comparison. An asifa will not stop thieves from stealing, will not stop abusers from abusing and will not stop aguna creators from creating agunas.
Everyone knows stealing is wrong, you don’t need an asifa. But not all frum Americans are aware of the crimes the Zionists are committing against Bnei Torah and the frum community. Thus an asifa is useful in this case, unlike the non-comparable cases he mentioned.
June 2, 2017 9:22 am at 9:22 am in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1288887JosephParticipantWhere is the asifa against pritzus, cancer, car accidents, treif, the common cold, bank robberies, poverty and mental disorders?
Thieves and the others are not honored by them, despite your false accusation.
June 2, 2017 9:03 am at 9:03 am in reply to: Anti Zionist demonstration planned in Barclays Center #1288885JosephParticipantSee my earlier comment, as I told you. Your point has no legs.
