Once it was opened it doesn’t last long. If it was completely closed it might be good. When in doubt I would discard it.

Leah, go for it. Ruchy Freier became a judge. You can get voted in also.
You sound intelligent and a go getter. Go out and get involved. Venting here is only the beginning.
Go. Do it. I support you.

For the freshest and best tasting coffee pay a visit to 1982 Coffee Roasters at 5405 13th Ave. Brooklyn,
They have a very large selection of freshly ground coffee. They have many types of lattees, also fresh salads
    and sandwiches.
I go there every week and enjoy a good lunch.
The atmosphere is very pleasant with good service.

This is the wrong audience for this question. This Shabbos has significance mostly for single people.
There are Shabbatons in different hotels for singles.
On the other hand, in general there is an extra simcha on this Shabbos.

One time I ranted about a topic. When I saw alot of hatred in posts I became concerned. Hatred should not be spewed towards Yiden even without names. That is not good for any of us. I told the moderator to take down my post.

yehuda, good question. The answer is, when I got introduced to an mlm company, I tried the product. If this was
something I liked, I joined and worked on it. Most mlm’s were popular for a while in the community, then they
petered out. Why? most people who join are not business people. They try it for a while, then they give up.
Over the years, I had been approached by acquaintances also involved in mlm’s with new upcoming companies. I joined when it was popular, while many people were buying the product. Today, I do online passive incomes, where I earn without having to sign up anyone else. Bitcoin is the one to look at, the price goes up almost every day.

When Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach was alive, I once attended Hoshana Rabba at night. While the men were
singing and dancing feverishly, a few women made a circle in the back and also danced. This was ok.
Men have their mitzvos, and women have theirs. Why would some women feel a need to step into the men’s area? Don’t they have enough of their own? If a few women feel a strong need to dance, they can do that in the women’s section. They don’t have to get a Sefer Torah from the men. If they must have one, let them bring a small one from home. I am certain they can borrow one somewhere.

This is a very interesting post. Leib, welcome. I give you a lot of credit for what you are doing. It seems to me, Chabad would be a good place for you. They have Yiden of many different backgrounds, and are open minded.
They are always looking out to be mekarev Yiden. Regarding your wife, once you are settled in a place, you will meet the Rabbi of the shul. Ask to meet the Rebetzin and introduce your wife to her. She will help her meet other ladies and become part of the community. If she doesn’t speak English well, look for classes, in your community, where they teach English. This is very important for her. It will help her make friends. When a person is ready to smile and be friendly, they can go a long way. Keep us posted of your progress. Hatzlacha Rabbah.

Why are frum people doing this? It’s the promise of easy money. However, that is not true. You have to work hard to earn good money. On the other hand, you don’t need college or special training. Almost anyone can do it.
imma – too bad you went through that. You don’t have to be on autoship unless you want to earn commission on others.

When I liked a product due to good results, I talked about it to others. I was good in selling., Signing up others was much harder. To do well today one would have to use modern technology such as facebook, linked in and others.

y12. I don’t agree. I have been in many mlm’s. Shaklee, Herbalife, gochi juice, etc, mostly companies with
special products that you don’t get in the stores. Many people have seen good results. People lost weight with
Herbalife, cholesterol was lowered with gochi juice and many more. However, the reason most people don’t make too much money with mlm, is that they are not business people. They are customers who thought it would be easy to make extra money. Then they realize, it takes alot of commitment, just like any other business.

Joseph, Single girls want to like fine and not too showy. This is the right way. Once they are married, they have a husband, they are safe. If it’s ok with the husband, they can dress better, more make-up etc. This is OK.

I used to be part of the company. I tried many of the products. I still use two which I like, Rustic Touch, which is good for my furniture, and Breath Away mouth rinse. This is a concentrate, which I mix with water and it has a great taste. It pays for you to try some of the products, and see if you like any. If you are thinking of becoming
a distributor, this is needs a lot of research, meaning, look carefully at the marketing plan, and be ready to talk
to many people re personal care and cleaning products. When many people in BP were involved many years ago, most hardly made money. From the many MLM’s I have been involved in, this was one of the hardest.

I commend you for all that you are doing. It’s not easy to take on all the mitzvos. The ladies said it all very well.
I wish to add regarding polish. Many frum women wear light pink. It looks good but not flashy. Nevertheless,
polish has it’s own laws. If a small amount is missing on your nail, you cannot wash for bread. Also, your dressing sounds just fine. You want to attract the guy that will match to you. Very often, married women tend to dress differently e.g. less simple, than single girls so don’t compare yourself to the marrieds.
    I wish you hatzlacha rabbah.
