I’m not even a regular coffeeroom reader and it was glaringly obvious that OP is jokingg. 1stly no1 would give a dramatic older single story and then say her age was 23.even among the crazies who doo feel 23 is old they all knoww deep down that 23 is a young spring chicken 2ndly no girl uses the expression haicha timtza. 🙂
yetzertovMemberMs. Critique- the story with the girl who helped for chessed a family of 8 and then the father divorced his wife and married her?!I feel sooo bad for that first wife! That’s epitome of painful! But its definitely wonderful to hear of so many older singles getting married!
yetzertovMemberI can only talk for myself and my friends. Yes, we all lovee talking about our dating stories.AFTER the fact!! We will always say “I once went out with a guy…” Even if that story occurred the night before. My close friends though know when I’m dating usually.cuz I can’t keep it to myself.my mom feels I should.she’s right.I always do try…. And about saying names-i dontt cuz its sickkkk lashon hara! Because I rannnnk out the dudes I date! 🙂
yetzertovMemberAries2756:not sure what age group or which circles you run in.I can only speak for myself. In our yeshivish circles, nowadays.boys do not call the girls before dates, unless they reach a point that they are serious w eachother and then they’ll drop the shadchan. It can be a comedy: boys running late,he calls his mom,who calls shadchan, who calls girls mom who tells her daughter oh boys running late!by that point the boy has arrived! So yes, I wish the boy could still be able to call the girl!
