Some things you should know. No one goes into psychology to make money. If you look at all of the job statistics websites, psychology careers do not pay a lot, maybe they might pay an average salary. Maybe.

A psychology salary in israel is probably even less than in the usa.

So why do people invest money into psychology? It is because they are stupid or want to help people, and this is the best way to help people.

I do not know of any special fields for special needs psychology. Mostly it is ot and pt etc… But possibly who knows.

If you want to live in israel, then i think you should go to college there. Not because it may be free, but because you want to start off and do everything there. You want to date there, find a college there, do everything. If aliyah is what you really really want, then make aliyah first and do everything afterward.

Go to a mentor and ask him or her. Sometimes the reason you may want to break the engagement is not real reasons, maybe it is only jitters. maybe it is due to the wedding preparation etc… Go to a psychologist or mentor and see what they say.

the ben ish chai says you should say shabbat shalom when you come into the house. He does not specify what to say to passersby.

When i started going out i was working. I was working not because i had to but because i wanted to. I identified myself as a learning boy who happened to be working.

I went to a shadchan and said I wanted a girl who wants to live in israel short term, wouldnt mind a good yeshivishe boy who happens to be working. You know what she said? She said there is noone out there for you.

BTW I said tehillim hachida for a couple of months before I started thinking about going out.

Two weeks later I found a girl who wanted a frum learning working guy.

Just daven and you will find it.

According to halacha, if music is for the workers, then because of the churban it is assur. But marketing says music will make the experience better for the shoppers. Therefore, according to halacha it is muttar.
