I gave the cleaning lady linen to change and when she left I noticed my laundry basket was empty. I couldn’t figure out where she put the dirty linen. After searching for a while I decided to check out the bed and noticed she put the fresh linen on top of the old linen!

February 4, 2011 6:54 pm at 6:54 pm in reply to: Visiting relatives = top secret ATTN: METRODRIVER #736711YerslMemberwell, I couldve called on the home phone but I would have to explain the reason for my being upset to people who wouldn’t understand. Why torture myself with explaining my side of things till I turn blue in the face & still be at square one. Calling on the cell wouldve been a bit tricky since I’m not sure when Mr. Driver (i don’t think I’m allowed to say his screen name since that might go against kibid av as someone pointed that out to me!) has a few minutes to himself & calling home to find out the schedule would entail explaining the why’s & as I said before, certain people can’t seem to understand a different reasoning. They just know its either their way of thinking or you just want to pick a fight. Email was another option yet I can’t for the life of me remember the email address so the only way I knew I could chap Mr. Driver’s attention wouldve been thru the CR. I didn’t imagine though how lively a conversation this would turn into. I might just do it again in the future if another similar issue crops up & I need just Mr Driver’s attention & nobody else’s (from the family).

You’re wrong on both guesses. I’m not metro’s sister & we’re not talking about the same person. I think I’ve gotten my “closure” on my original post. Thank you everyone for your replies. Now continue entertaining yourselves with all the shidduchim threads here.

I don’t deserve even that much?
I’m not even gonna say anything to him because its all water under the bridge.

Thanks for the laugh! I literally fell out of the chair when I read your reply yitayningwut!
February 1, 2011 3:44 am at 3:44 am in reply to: Visiting relatives = top secret ATTN: METRODRIVER #736683YerslMemberthe reason I’m involving the cr is so I can get metro’s attn without catching unwanted attn. If I were to call, certain people will want to know details & I see no point in involving people who think this is petty. Metro can (hopefully) commiserate with me even though there isn’t a solution to the above mentioned issue.
YerslMemberMetrodriver: I totally agree with your comment. It is very true that the yiddish passerby will always peek to see what’s going on. I can’t stand it. Personally I try not to peek in anyone’s house or window because I don’t like it when people do it to me. Hmmm….I’m probably not heimish then, so what am I? :p
YerslMemberWasn’t allfresh going to merge with that new supermarket yesh? I remember hearing something to that effect. I hope that’s true so at least the hardworking employees at allfresh don’t lose their jobs. The workers there are all heimishe yingelat.
