mylogic – Dunno where the logic went to, but I can tell you that none of the yekkes i know say Boruch Habo, and in the Yekkishe hagodos it doesn’t say it. (There are two types of Yekkes, frankfurt and berlin, so there could be different minhagim.)
But I checked with some non related Yekkes (so i am sure it is not a family thing) and they don’t say it.

Can somebody give a brief summary of this Eragon series? And who wrote it?
If it is a deigner make but doesn’t splash it all over – for example if the label is inside and there is no sign of it outside more than the fact that it looks nice and is better quality, then of course there is no problem. If the guy is only wearing it so that other people can see it, then you are running into problems.
But why is the question to “Bochurim” – are balabatim any better off?
It depends what style you are looking for. The Seder Aruch has 3 Chalokim on Pesach, and one of them is a Hagodo Shel Pesach where he brings all minhogim and the reasons for everything with a mix of halocho, agodo and drush. Very nice.
R’ Shimshon Pincus’s hagodo is a bit heavier, but it extremely good if you are looking for a more hashkafic-mussar outlook on your Pesach.
Peshat – the Malbim has some very nice shtickelech. For that you can look in Toras Chaim where he brings all the Rishonim together – extremely interesting but generally not the sort of things you are looking to say over at the table.

Why did Dumbledore not let Harry disarm Draco Malfoy, confund him/ use a memory charm to let Malfoy think he actually killed Dumbledore, and then hide, while still controlling the Order of the Phoenix? Why did he need to die? (Snape could have saved him from the potion)
