I have searched online and it seems that this new filter implementation is just in safari. Do you see it working in all apps across the iphone?

Wow about time they did that! Can you say what website some images the implementation of this can be found? Also, is there any other parental features which you know about in ios 7 which is lacking in previous ios builds?

So what will change for ios 7 in terms of being able to better filter the iphone over ios 6? Also, is there any way that you, being a consultant for apple, can maybe give them the idea of a kids setting for the whole iphone that would block a category of websites on the whole device and any app, not just on a particular app. For example, an app might be rated 4+ but if an advertisement were to come up or I would play around with the settings, I can circumvent everything and now have a built in browser, even in some kids games or the ywn app itself! That defeats the whole purpose of most of their restrictions and makes it very hard to have a perfectly filtered iphone. Each app would have to be thoroughly checked. Any ideas?

Where do you see anything about ios 7 having a “powerful domain blocker”? That would be great but apple nor any other developer has made any mention of this.

There are some ways to block or filter internet but by jailbreaking your iPod, your back to step one. K9 is a free filter and can be food in the app store. It does a very good job filtering, and if any sites come up that u deem innapropriate and it’s not being blocked, you can email them and they will block it. Also, the best thing to do would be to completely block the app store because there are many app that are rated 4+ but have built in browsers in them so one an access unfiltered in there, even though it’s rated 4+! any tech savvy person can always get around blocking some apps but by blocking all apps the damage us minimal

The issue is girls congregating the streets for three hours and not going to a particular place. I know this because I see them on the way to learn, then on the way to mincha and then out of mincha. Boys are also a problem but not to the same extent. Its also that some girls are out there in the first place looking for boys. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this seems to be the general view of a lot of yeshiva bochurim trying to do the right thing

First of all, bb are one of the best fones out there, which is y someone would get one in the first place. Regarding filters, jnet makes a very good one which doesn’t even allow going on youtube.you can get a bb from verizon w/o internet, however u would have to pay the 30 data plan then block the internet on the fone.
