All you forgot is the salt and pepper for the soup, gefilte fish and the cholunt. The Smilowitz C&L pareve kishka is by far the best one to put in the cholunt. A lot of paprika in the cholunt adds color an flavor, but I can’t give you all of my cholunt secrets.

I gave up TV years ago after watching very little because there was so little worth watching. After a few days without it, you will no longer miss it.

You can watch thousands of great video shiurim and speeches on Torahcafe.com and Torahanytime.com. Some are serious learning, but others are infomative and even humourous. Rabbis Fischel Schachter, and Label Lam on Torahanytime are not to be missed, and Dr. Luchins, Prof. Sarna, and Nathan Lewin on Toracafe.com are captivating.

Give up the TV and expand your knowledge through these web sites.

The unanswered questions are – Did he do a good job and was the final cost of $500 a fair price for the job? A low estimate can be either intentional or an error. It appears that his good reputation in cyberspace is worth $500 to him.

We and others opposed to this are unfortunatly a minority so there’s nothing we can do to stop it. What is common in the general population as far as relationships between men an women is also contrary to our values. We must stengthen our resolve not to be influenced by what’s around us and stand apart.

I have never met a frum person who favors or endorses homosexual marriage. Many of us realize that such unions along with many practices of non Jews and non observant Jews are antithetical to our Torah values, but are accepted by many. Society has sunken to it’s lowest level in the past 20-30 years with adultery, “hooking up”, unmarried couples publicly living together, and worse accepted. We are a people that stands alone and must continue to seperate ourselves rather than oppose what we can not stop.
