In addition to performing same gender intermarriages they are known to preside over Bark Mizvahs with the dogs wearing yarmalkas and talasim. You really can’t blame them since they have no knowledge that what they;re doing is wrong. There are presently 2 non Jewish female reform clergywomen in Brooklyn. They are both converted by reform and went to reform clergy schools.

I notice that no one has really addressed to building code violations which lead to dangerous safety issues. Adequate egress is essential to safety as is compliance with building code. As I see in Boro Park the existing infrastructure can not support the threefold increase in density. The streets can not be widened and increase in water, sewer and utility capacity is improbable in Boro Park as well as Monsey. Why not Scranton with cheap housingh a a lower cost of living?

I don’t know if you frum Trump followers realize what an immoral man he is. He was dating wife #2 while married to the first wife and wife #2 bore his child a month before the marriage. It was a high society wedding, but I don’t know if little Tiffany attended.

Of course they do more than funerals. They do intermarriage and same gender marriage ceremonies and speak at their one a week prayer service. Interestingly, there are at least 2 female reform clergywomen in NYC who are reform converts, therefore not even Jewish.

Dennis, I remember you from you days as a grad student at Columbia who went to Russia, but have only seen you on video over the past 40+ years I’ve seen videos of your speeches at Chabad events on Torahcafe.com. If I remember correctly you were raised in a frum Flatbush family and attended Yeshiva of Flatbush. Although you seem to have an affinity towards Yiddishket, you are no longer observant of mitzvot, which I find both puzzling and troubling. I don’t know why an observant Jew would want to buy your book on the Asserot Hadibros.

Multiple smoke alarms are essential. Often we hear that after a fire with fatalaties there were no working smake alarms. For A $10 investment you could save a life. If a hot plate, by whatever definition you choose, is left on a fireproof surface with no overhead cabinets or flamables with 2 feet, there should be no danger. This tragedy should serve as a wakeup call to our community.

DaasYochid -Everything that Mathew did was above board – no photo shopping or gimicks. The goshe maidlach have too much exposed to show chein.

Don’t your shuffleboard players have any great or great great grandsons for you maidel? Knowing your yichus would make a photo unnecessary. They would marry her for the yichus (and your wealth) regardless of how she looked.

With these special frum college programs ucha as TTI anyone can get a degree without too much effort. From what I’ve seen those with a skilled trade make out the best such as plumbers, electricians, iron workers. No reason as Bais Yaakov girl can’t do those jobs. There are City jobs that don’t require callege such as sanitation worker that paty quite well or firefighter. A BY girl can be almost anything but a Rabbi, a sofer or a mohel.

As a Brooklyite who’s not been murdered, I must dispute the claim. There are fewer than 100 murders a year in Brooklyn and most victims know the killer or they themselves have a criminal record. It is highy unusual for a law abiding citizen to be the victim of any violent crime.

We are safe in Brookyn. We read of horrific traffic accidents with multiple fatalities in Israel, but rarely in Brooklyn.

What difference does 2 or 3 or 4 years age difference either way make? Although I know some couples where the age difference is much greater, I don’t think that has effected the marriage. Now I would never have thought about a woman 10 years my senior.
