I think I was wrong once.
yaakov doeParticipantDo any of you remember when Yujing Zhang weas arrested at Mar a Lago? Items found in her hotel room included a signal detector used to pick up the presence of hidden cameras, nine USB drives, five sim cards and a cellphone, $8,000 in cash and several credit and debit cards.
Mar a Lago was not a secure place to keep documents that even if declassified should not have been removed from the archives. The place is a resort with many people including possible spies of passing through.
At sentencing, the then 33-year-old said she went to Mar-a-Lago “to meet the president and family and just make friends”. It can be assume that there were others who weren’t caught.August 15, 2022 9:14 am at 9:14 am in reply to: A I Stone versus Tyrwhitt or Brooks Brothers #2115257yaakov doeParticipantbyy, there are many completely white dress shirts on the Paul Frederick website even some clearance at $28. Unfortunately many are slim which I can’t wear. Sign up for their Emails and you will get sale notifications.

They used to frequently run 3/$99 sales which I haven’t seen in a while.
yaakov doeParticipantThe FBI action authorized by a Federal Magistrate requested by the DOJ was no a political matter. The FBI Director is a Republican appointed by Donald Trump, the AG Merrick Garland is a respected prosecutor. A politically sensitive action such as the raid on one of Trump’s residences would have required insurmountable evidence of a crime and that stolen sensitive documents were indeed in the residence. No way they decision was made without a great deal of discussion. One must assume that all involved knew with absolute certainty that what they were looking for would be found in the former President’s residence. In all probability the information was provided to the DOJ by an insider, probably a family member or a close confident of Trump.
Like you and I, a former President as well as a sitting President is not exempt from our laws.
In a matter of time what was found and the reasons for the raid will become known. Stand back and stand by as the revelations will be wild.yaakov doeParticipantI donate anonymously.
It upsets me when I see the names of donors in larger lettering than the name of the institution. There’s one yeshiva in Far Rockaway that I don’t see a name for, only the donors names. I still don’t know which yeshiva it is.yaakov doeParticipantMy advice is don’t watch or listen. You should not be looking ay Youtube to begin with.
yaakov doeParticipantLakewhut, I frequently see references like yours to Marxism, a philosophy of which I have little understanding. Perhaps you can explain in detail exactly what Marxism is and what today is Marxist.
yaakov doeParticipantI don’t like or want compliments.
yaakov doeParticipantShe is a profile in courage, one of the very few on todays political scene. I disagree with her on many issues but can’t help but respect her for standing up for truth, justice and the American way.
yaakov doeParticipantAre you plugging it into a neighbors outlet to get free electricity?
yaakov doeParticipantMoish, you raise some valid points but your long diatribe is difficult to read because you don’t know about paragraphs.
yaakov doeParticipantNow that Musk dropped out, I have a chance to buy Twitter and shut it down on Shabbos.
July 10, 2022 12:41 pm at 12:41 pm in reply to: Inefficient and Sketchy Non Profits / Tzedaka organizations #2104872yaakov doeParticipantAside from the online pleas, I get numerous phone and mail solicitations from tzedakas that are unfamiliar. I limit my contributions to a handful of recognized organizations such as Ezras Torah, established yeshivot and orthodox advocacy organizations.
Too many organizations pay high salaries and duplicate the work of others, aside from the outright fraudulent ones.yaakov doeParticipantIn February 2021 a 6 foot golden statue of Trump was revealed at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. There are photos of people bowing down to it and kissing it. He was idolized by some after his election defeat and some even equate him with that Jewish man worshipped by followers of a major Western religion.
yaakov doeParticipantEven if not working for them, the frum Yiddin in the Agri office would be able to give you information.
yaakov doeParticipantI would very much like to hear testimony under oath from Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Mark Meadows, Roger Stone, Rudy Guiliani, and the Secret Service agents. Their testimony is necessary to give Americans a complete understanding of the last days of the Trump administration.
yaakov doeParticipantFYI Trump’s heel spurs healed once the Vietnam draft ended never to be heard of again.
yaakov doeParticipantWhy wouldn’t Donald Trump testify under oath to refute all of the allegations instead of posting numerous denials daily on his Truth Social platform?
yaakov doeParticipantWe need price controls on Cholev Yisroel milk as the price has increased by over a dollar per half gallon in recent weeks. Cholev akum has no increased anywhere near that amount.
yaakov doeParticipantMy youngest at 37 sets his own bedtime as do his older siblings.
yaakov doeParticipantA woman is one who sits in the ezras nashim in shul and loves to shop.
yaakov doeParticipantWhat’s a good well priced small gun for me to carry? I need one in case I have a parking dispute or similar occurrence.
yaakov doeParticipantI prefer Ronald McDonald to Ron or Donald.
yaakov doeParticipantBob-hample1, didn’t you learn about the use of paragraphs in elementary school?
yaakov doeParticipantAre you telling me that Exxon, BP OR Gulf don’t set the price they charge gas stations?
yaakov doeParticipantEven if construction of the Keystone pipeline was allowed to continue it wouldn’t effect today’s gas price as it would not be functioning yet.
Oil companies set the prices for gas and they have had record profits. They could cut the price by 10% and still be profitable.yaakov doeParticipantI expect the naviim who post here will have a definitive answer.
yaakov doeParticipantManagement just escorted me out of the largest heimish store in Brooklyn when I complained that they didn’t have kitty- kibble with chassideshe hashgacha. They told me not to ever come back again.
yaakov doeParticipantAs long as he uses the litter box remember it could be worse.
If he’s a Jewish cat he will only eat the salmon and not canned catfood because he keeps kosher.yaakov doeParticipantNot surprised that 2 who commented assume that the young woman is in Brooklyn or elsewhere in the Metro NY area. There are Jews both assimilated and frum all over the USA. If she’s not in the Metro area OORAH AND NCSY are the most likely to assist her on the road to a frum life.
yaakov doeParticipantVery few of those riots involved Federal crimes as the attack on the Capitol was so policing and charges were up to the local authorities. January 6th was clearly an attempt to interfere with government proceedings, not exactly a riot. There is no reason Congress can not have separate hearings on the riots at another time.
yaakov doeParticipantUnder what law are protests illegal outside a Justice’s home?
The young man arrested clearly has issues but there is no way to prevent him from buting a gun in most states.yaakov doeParticipantWe are only passing through and you can’t take anything with you except mitzvos as maasim toivim.
yaakov doeParticipantSports are simply entertainment, far less harmless of the sports of the ancient Romans.
Politics effect the future of each one of us and is not entertainment but a participation sport.yaakov doeParticipantFrom what I’ve seen in the videos it wasn’t a small group of agitators trespassing but a horde of over 1000 people breaking into the Capital beating police officers, vandalizing offices, defecating and urinating in the halls while looking to harm Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. Evidence revealed last week shows that there was a planned and coordinated attack by several hundred members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers with weapons, bear spray and zip ties. The only question remaining is who planned the attack and for what purpose.
June 10, 2022 9:58 am at 9:58 am in reply to: Husband of House Majority Leader, Nancy Pelosi Gets Away with a DUI Offense #2095300yaakov doeParticipantPelosi’s husband, Paul has a court date of August 3rd on his DUI charge. He hasn’t gotten away with anything as of today.
yaakov doeParticipantThe committee is gathering evidence. Many who went to the Capital were like lemmings not conspirators, and there were the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. If people have actual evidence that refutes the committee’s evidence I’m sure it will find it’s way in the media. Actual evidence not supposition upon supposition upon supposition as in the 2000 Mules video.
This is more akin to the Warren commission than a political convention. I would expect we ill learn facts that haven’t yet come out. Watch or listen tonight. Even Newsmax is carrying it.yaakov doeParticipantI want to hear the witnesses including the ones whose testimony was taken earlier and recorded before I come to any conclusion about who bears responsibility for the events of January 6th. I want to know who brought the gallows and who originated the idea of hanging the Vice President of the United States. I’d also like to know who planted the bombs the evening prior to the assault. I would also like to know why a Congressman from Alabama thought it necessary to wear body armor when addressing the assemblage. There is also the unanswered question of why members of the Proud Boys stocked weapons in a motel outside of DC awaiting word on when to enter DC armed.
I find it hard to believe that Trump planned on marching to the Capital and that he was watching the rioting on TV that afternoon refusing to act. So many unanswered questions that may be answered by witnesses, texts and recordings.
I’m rescheduling my Thursday night learning to listen to the hearing on radio in order to be an informed American.yaakov doeParticipantWhy not watch if you have a TV or listen on WCBS News Radio to hear what witnesses have to say before making a judgement?
If Fox were an actual news network they would also broadcast the hearings as they are newsworthy as the Watergate hearings were.June 7, 2022 2:55 pm at 2:55 pm in reply to: The solution to the shidduch crisis in one easy step! #2094383yaakov doeParticipantTwo or three working wives to support one husband is a great idea.
June 6, 2022 11:36 pm at 11:36 pm in reply to: The solution to the shidduch crisis in one easy step! #2094200yaakov doeParticipantPolygamy has the drawback of multiple mothers in law and it violates American law.
yaakov doeParticipantMemorial Day and Veterans Day have lost all meaning and are now seen as days off from work and days for sales. Aside from a few ceremonies and a few sparsely attended parades Memorial day is seen by most Americans as a day for beach and barbeques.
May 31, 2022 9:42 am at 9:42 am in reply to: Store where Texas school shooter got rifle was linked to cartel case #2092719yaakov doeParticipantLakewhut, what’s the store and what’s the link to cartels?
yaakov doeParticipantWhat kind of big game are they hunting with such a weapon? It shouldn’t take that many shots to down a bear or a deer and if they unload a magazine into the animal the meat would be full of bullet fragments not very appetizing .
yaakov doeParticipantI’m still waiting for reparations from Spain for our expulsion in 1492. We probably have none coming from Mitzrayim because we emptied the country of riches when we left.
yaakov doeParticipantDoes moishekapoieh think those carrying should participate in the Kiddush club or should only be there to protect the participants.
yaakov doeParticipantAlmost everything about Lubavitch is positive. You can’t judge the movement by the few kooks who fly Moshiach flags with the Rebbe’s picture.
yaakov doeParticipantTrained cops who have obligatory practice at shooting ranges frequently miss the perp they are trying to take down and all too often hit bystanders. In a crowded shul there is bound to be collateral damage if the gabbai opens fire.
yaakov doeParticipantIf you insist on milchig cholent use your regular recipe and instead of meat use a couple packages of twisted mozzarella cheese and pareve kishka. Use a milchig crockpot of course
