I suggest you drive down there and talk some sense into these hooligans. Don’t be surprised if they knock you out break your ribs and shatter your car windshield. The only one who can stop them are those authorized and trained to use force, i.e. the police.
WIYMemberThe Rabbonim have spoken in the past many times about not making violent protests. At this point it has become clear already from violent incidents that have happened in the last few years by groups called sicko-rikim and other vigilante groups that they choose to do what they want and answer only to themselves. These people are treif kanoyim who pretend that they act to defend what is right. Anyone with seichel and some Torah knowledge knows that these people are evil. They can’t be stopped within the community without starting a civil war. I suggest all you big talkers who think you know it all to keep it down. The Rabbanim can’t stop them without putting their lives at risk. These people have no problem beating up a Rav. They can only be stopped by the police.
July 10, 2013 7:47 pm at 7:47 pm in reply to: Is theyeshivaworld.com nothing more than a tabloid in disguise? #964875WIYMemberI’m actually shocked that after yesterday’s article the powers that be felt it would hasten the coming of moshiach by being mekayem the mitzvos of motzi sheim ra and sinas chinam and posting another hit piece about Hikind on their website. Really starting to wonder how this site can continue to call itself “yeshiva” world. There’s nothing yeshivish about this behavior.

Ha. Not sure if you know but just like a man is commanded not to seclude himself with a woman, women are also obligated to not be in seclusion with a man. Hilchos yichud apply to everyone.

1. We don’t know Hashems cheshbonos.
2. How do you know they were better than you maybe you are better than them?
3. Even if they were better that can be the reason Hashem took them. We are sent here to do a mission. Once completed there’s no longer a purpose to be here so in most cases Hashem takes the person away unless they are a gadol and the generation needs their guidance…
4. You are likely a lot better than you think you are.
5. Since you are still alive and Hashem did not take you back it means He believes you still have what to do on this world.
6. You are still young and you can change, improve, do teshuvah and be as great or greater than the person you are writing about.
WIYMemberThe best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in it. You should go spend some time with chassidim and try talking to them in yiddish and ask them to correct you when you get something wrong.

1)Assume nothing. Everything is in seforim. Moshiach will arrive first according to many Rishonim. According to Rambam he will in fact oversee the building of the 3rd BH. (He doesn’t hold like Rashi and other Rishonim who hold it will descend in fire)
2)The BH has a roof. The courtyard obviously does not. Check google images you’ll see.

Moshiach is supposed to arrive before the year 6000. That’s a maximum deadline. There are sources that say based on Sanhedrin 97a that the world will be destroyed year 6000 and remain fallow until 7000 when Hashem will then create a new world. However I don’t think everyone agrees and if i remember correctly some hold that from 6000 or before until 7000 will be olam Habah (I think this is the Rambam’s opinion but don’t quote me because I’m not sure.)

I’m impressed that you do Tikkun Chatzos. See what the Yesod Veshoresh Hoavodah says about it. If you never learned that Sefer go get your hands on it. Really amazing Sefer.
WIYMemberStop running away from your problems. What you are doing is avoidance. You need to face your pain and fear before you can move on with your life. As Goq said you should go seek a therapist.

A Time to Laugh is the title of Abie’s comedy cd. The humor is a bit old fashioned as this was made in the late 80’s but its still cute.

I want to say differently. Most often after marriage people realize that their spouse is different than what they first thought. We may feel that “this isn’t who I married” so the Torah says regardless of how you the husband may feel about your choice, since you went ahead and took her and decided you want her, now it’s your job to make her happy and not chas veshalom give off negative vibes that will make her feel like you wish she were different and that she isn’t good enough.

Everything is meant to be but if you are seeing lots of troubles in your life on a regular basis you should go speak to a tzaddik. There may be something going on.

The next time you have to walk on the street alone on a busy avenue I recommend you to try the following. Look down on the floor the whole time and basically keep your eyesight within no more than about 8 feet in front of you. Don’t pick your head up to look around. No looking at people or any stores just mind the floor. Tell me how you do. Now we have to try this with a yetzer pushing us to constantly look. I guarantee you the challenge for men is harder. Way harder. This area is the hardest area in avodas Hashem and if one vanquishes his yetzer in this area he gets the title tzaddik (Yosef hatzadik never even looked at potifars wife). I’m not saying women don’t have a challenge to dress tzniusdig. But it’s not within the same universe of difficulty. There isn’t much I can say on this site but if you want to know the struggles of men go to guard your eyes and read the forums. You seriously have no clue how challenging it is for a man to keep himself holy in this generation. Again I’m not knocking women’s challenges but to even think there’s any comparison in the difficulty of the challenge is purely ludicrous.

You don’t believe in olam haba and secular veonesh? If so you are a kofer.
Mods
Why do you allow people to post open kefira on the site? The modding has gotten very lax on this site. It’s not acceptable to allow people to post kefira and apikorsus. If you don’t know what’s kefira and apikorsus go learn the Rambams. One who doesn’t believe in them is a kofer and this nigritude fellow is a kofer.

Firstly although everyone makes it sound like there’s a crisis it’s mostly hype. There’s plenty of boys out there. I think that if you want to be matzliach most importantly you must Daven
a lot and really firmly put your betachon in Hashem. Also you really should know what you want. Don’t date a 5 year learner if you don’t want more than 3…whatever it is don’t go on a date before you know what you want. Forget about the peer pressure and what everyone else tells you to want. I personally know of girls who “thought” they wanted the long term learning thing only to find that after 3 or so years they are not so into it and now feel stuck with a husband who considers work a dirty word. I can’t stress this enough, you will be living with the guy, not your parents or your “smart” friends who will tell you what you want. Look into yourself and figure out what you really need to be happy and then contact a shadchan.
WIYMemberWritersoul
You may not like it but the fact remains that even though a man is obligated to watch where he looks all the time when women or inappropriate images are present (trust me that’s infinitely harder than adding an inch or 2 to your dress length) any woman that dresses in a provocative way will pay dearly for it in the next world and probably in this one as well. Dressing inappropriately is an easy way to rack up a nice tally of aveiros every time you walk the street. Think about that you can be machshil 100’s of men a day. Talk about doing aveiros wholesale. A woman who dresses inappropriately is a public hazard from a spiritual perspective. It’s not for naught that its called dressed to kill.

“What is funny about animals dying on the street?
Animals dying in the street is funny?
That it doesn’t matter at all if animals die in the street. Of course they die in the street–they also live in the street! Where would you want them to live? In a house? They don’t live in houses–they’re animals!
lololol
animals “dying on the street” is not simply a description of the location of their death. It is also indicative of their lifestyle and cause of death. It means that the animal did not find a place with a family or even a shelter, and instead scavenged scraps on the street, was likely disease-ridden, and almost certainly died of starvation.
lolol
Animals don’t need a home! They don’t need a human family! They are supposed to eat scraps. That is what they naturally do!
Did you hear about the poor deer? It lived in the forest without even a tent, and then it was murdered by a wolf and eaten alive! What a pity–lololol”
I guess you didnt read last weeks parsha about the godros for the tzon and how about Yakov Avinu building succos for his animals?

WIYMemberAmerica is a medinah shel chessed. At this point there still is much freedom in this country to enjoy and its better for Jews here than anywhere else. Actually its the job of beis din and the Rabbanim of the city to make sure the Torah is upheld to the best degree possible. Once upon a time in Europe not that long ago every city had its Rabbi and he was THE LAW. If people didnt keep halacha properly there were consequences like cheirems and niduys and kicking people out of town. There were places where they used to give makkos mardus for people who didnt keep halacha. We live in very different times. Today people just do as they feel and the Rabbanim have zero power to change anything. They are petrified of insulting anyone and losing their jobs so they cant push any of the real issues like Tznius and everything related to it as well as other important things.
