“”Jfem: I’m sure you are quite aware that the things frum yidden should or should not do isn’t limited to the Taryag mitzvos.”
There are mitzvos that are min hatorah but not counted among the 613.

“dividing us even more and making the geulah drag on and on because of your leitzonus”
It is a mitzvah to make fun of apikorsim and call them out in public so that others dont get sucked in. There is no inyan of achdus with such people. They want to uproot our Torah and play games with it as they see fit. Thats not the Ratzon Hashem in any way shape or form. The arrogance of these clowns is astounding. I wish Rav Moshe were still alive he would have put them all in cherem.
Moshiach will come when we all have the guts to stand up for what Hashem deems right. Political correctness is not a Jewish concept. We have a Torah to tell us how to live, who to respect, who to make fun of and who to put in cheirem and ostracize. Its only by living up to the demands of that holy Torah fully that we can expect Moshiach to come.

It exists and works. However not every hypnotist is good at what he claims to be good at. Its an art so to speak and you get better at it with time. A person can be helped in many areas with hypnotism however expect a few sessions. One session cant really cure anything but even one session helps.
“Are the tricks that hypnotists do in shows problematic in terms of kavod habriyos?” No because the hypnotist is only making “suggestions” and you have a choice whether or not to follow them. If you want to act the fool and listen then you are acting the fool in public. I cant think it being worse than being a clown by profession. Their job is to act like fools in public.
Would I go?
Yes. I have gone. It wasn’t easy getting myself to go but I had a lot of reasons to go and nothing to lose except for the fee that is. I have been to 2 different hypnotists and they were both pretty good. They helped me somewhat. The way I understand it they help you get over the hump so that you can do the rest yourself. Usually theres something stopping you from getting past something, like some kind of fear or low self image…They help you get past it so you can go and live your life.

It says in the Torah numerous times that the Jewish nation is one people and we are compared to sheep “tzon mariso” many times. There is very openly in the Torah a concept that we are like a flock of sheep dutifully following Hashem its Shepherd.

Over educating?! Most kids today are am haaratzim. They learn a few blatt Gemara a year and don’t even know it. Halacha isn’t taught and is hardly known. Most kids have very confused and spotty hashkafos. I don’t know what world you are living in.
WIYMemberI think the answer to the shidduch crisis is everyone signing up to online dating sites so everyone’s picture is up and also to fill out a detailed questionaire that can be viewed by others to match up interests and hashkafos. This can totally trim away most of those no shaychis one time dates and make it possible for people with similar backgrounds and interests and outlooks to be able to easily find each other and set up a date.

This story should shake them up. You can google the bar kamtza story and maybe you will find someone who writes it more dramatically. Either way I’m not so certain reading a story will do the job. Bringing peace requires mediation. Someone both parties will listen to and trust must attempt to bring them together.

I disagree. Every human can cry even though it is harder for some. There are people who think there is something wrong with crying and think they must be tough or due to a lot of troubles in their lives they become very stoic but anyone can cry. There are people who are afraid to cry. There are people who are afraid to really be that in touch with their feelings and emotions. I can tell you as a guy growing up I always believed a guy has to be tough and should bury his emotions. I had many issues growing up and all I did was build a wall so nothing can penetrate. One day I was able to actually penetrate that wall and I just cried like a baby and once I was able to cry I was able to heal, cry to Hashem and start working on myself to change. I know this is private stuff but you don’t know me so I feel safe in saying this. Either way my point is simply that its healthy to be able to cry and to be able to be moved to tears. Additionally, the power of tears are very mighty in prayer. If one can cry by Davening and if a woman can cry by lighting the shabbos candles and beg Hashem to bring yeshuos for their family and others they have in mind as well as our nation as a whole it is a prayer that Hashem cherishes and listens to because tears come from the deepest recesses of the heart and that is what Hashem wants.

WIYMemberThe Talmud (Gittin 56) tells of a man wanted to throw a party for all his friends, so he drew up a guest list and instructed his servant to send out the invitations. One of the men on the guest list was named “Kamtza,” but the servant made a mistake and invited “Bar Kamtza” instead. Oops — Bar Kamtza was actually a sworn enemy of the host!
When Bar Kamtza received his invitation, he was very grateful to think that the host had finally made amends. But when Bar Kamtza showed up at the party, the host took one look and told his servant to immediately eject Bar Kamtza from the premises.
When asked to leave, Bar Kamtza said: “I understand the mistake. But it’s embarrassing for me to leave the party. I’ll gladly pay the cost of my meal if you’ll allow me to stay.”
The host would hear nothing of this, and reiterated his demand to have Bar Kamtza removed.
Bar Kamtza appealed again: “I’d even be willing to pay half the cost of the entire party, if only I’d be allowed to stay.”
Again the request was denied. At which point, the distraught Bar Kamtza pleaded: “I’ll pay for the entire party! Just please don’t embarrass me in this way!”
The host, however, stuck to his guns and threw Bar Kamtza out. The rabbis had observed this exchange did not protest, and Bar Kamtza took this to mean that they approved of the host’s behavior.
The Talmud reports that Bar Kamtza was so hurt and upset, that he went straight to the Roman authorities and gave slanderous reports of disloyal behavior among the Jews. This fueled the Romans’ anger, and they proceeded to attack and destroy the Holy Temple.

There’s a song by Avraham Fried called, Giants shoulders, which will answer your question.
Bekitzur, they did all the heavy lifting, every generation has its part that it must do. They did theirs and we must do ours. We are at the end of the road, we just have to do a little more, try a little harder put on the finishing touches and we will be victorious and Moshiach will be here.
