I feel like there’s a flip side to this that is very uncomfortable. Maybe because a group that publicly forms as a political action committee is going to be (and has to be) a lot more transparent about its activities… there is a lot less danger of abuse of power that way.
You’re saying that it’s successful because it’s legal? What if a method of getting a group to abide by a directive is illegal? Or results in illegal actions?
I think I will go out on a limb and commiserate with you. Sometimes I feel the same, esp. when I kill a thread (but I know I’m in good company on that one, LOL). When I start feeling that way about the CR, I kind of stop and examine my reasons for reading and posting here. It’s not my post-BT nature to try to be the life of the party when among acquaintances. I try to remember that people most likely did read my post, and hopefully someone got something out of it, even if they didn’t post as much.

I am no fan of Obama, but there are two other things fueling the flames here: 1) the main stream media are the ones who have turned Obama’s quote using the word “lines” (as in, armistice lines not intended to be final borders) into U.S. policy substituting “lines” for “borders” (implying the final borders between two sovereign countries being the armistice lines with no swapping for settlements).
2) The general public doesn’t know what the “1967 lines” are, and they still don’t know what it means when they hear it turned into “1967 borders” (courtesy of the MSM). Nor do they know that that it could mean either pre- or post-6 day war the way it reads.
As an aside, in the base of the Statue of Liberty is a museum which contains a large menorah with 9 Lady Liberties holding their torches.
You have to admit that she is attracting way too much attention to herself, standing 151 feet tall in the middle of a busy harbor like that. She could have at least ducked behind a tree or skyscraper or something.

Speaking of Glenn Beck, he’s really putting his neck out there, calling for a “rally in Jerusalem” in August. I’m nervous that he’ll turn out to be a complete nutcase after all (I’m OK with him being a little bit of a nutcase). But here’s an American public figure openly calling for Americans to stand with Jews and Israel, with no fear. That’s pretty remarkable these days.
I think it’s fantastic that the Orthodox candidates won despite this blatant – and illegal – harrassment. I hope those responsible are forced to answer for their actions.
First ask yourself “why do I need to know?” so they won’t be compelled to answer “why do you need to know?”.

FWIW, there is no way I would support a daughter whose husband has a poor attitude about the secular studies she has taken seriously in order to work and support her husband’s learning. And I won’t stand for my granddaughter’s father dismissing as unimportant her studies, either.

Many years ago I had a job I absolutely hated – it was not a good fit for me at all. I had to work very hard to psych myself to go and to get through each day.
The boss had us fill out the Myers-Briggs for ourselves and for each other. It was pretty eye-opening for me – they had me pegged as a super-outgoing type (I don’t remember the letters) and I mostly just wanted to hide in a closet all the time. They literally looked at me like they thought I was nuts. I guess I was trying too hard…??
Nail fungus: just see a doctor. You’ll spend more time and money on OTC stuff.
Lice: I send my kids to camp with special shampoo and spray-on conditioner as a preventative. Something with rosemary, mint and tea tree oil (google Fairy Tales Hair Care).
Def take him to an allergist. I took allergy shots for years, although I was an adult, and I had suffered needlessly for years. 20 years later my spring allergies are not nearly as horrible as they used to be. This time of year my lungs get clogged up something awful, but it’s tolerable with Mucinex (guafenesin).

It is SOOOO much easier to start off without one than to have one and then decide when to get rid of it. Trust me, you’ll find more productive things to do…
