    Hi I’m from london,

I don’t know loads about Manchester but I do know it’s a very relaxed place. Housing is MUCH cheaper then in London.

Salford is the older area and more heimish and chasidish

Prestwich is where a lot of younger people move to because housing is even cheaper than salford and it’s more litvish and modern (whatever modern means)

Shuls there are loads it depends what style you are looking for litvish, heimish, chasidish or modern.

Schools I don’t know anything about

Good luck with whatever you decide.

    Also what about pickled?

But Goodfellow’s theory has been disputed. If the course was changed during a major emergency, one might expect it to be done using manual control. But the left turn was the result of someone in the cockpit typing “seven or eight keystrokes into a computer on a knee-high pedestal between the captain and the first officer, according to officials”, the New York Times reported. The paper says this “has reinforced the belief of investigators – first voiced by Malaysian officials – that the plane was deliberately diverted and that foul play was involved.”

In england it also works like that (and most other countries) if 1 party doesn’t get over 50percent of the vote a coalition has to be made which will then be over 50 percent.

The reason is because if there is no agreed coalition no law will ever be able to be passed because all the other parties will vote against the law.

However with a coalition they all give in a bit to each others demands and in turn they agree to work and vote together.

Before you can get onto Bituach Leumi you have to have been in the country on a visa for 183 days (6 months). The 183 days don’t have to be done in 1 go.

You then need to fill out 2 forms 1 for thr whole family and 1 for each member of the family. If you have kids you should also fill out the kitvah yeladim forms although you don’t have to do this to join Bituach Leumi.

When you apply for it you need 2 take with you 2 copies of your contract, your passports (the picture page and your visa page). If you are in yesshiva aletter from it.

You also need your whole families daf knisot veyetziot which you can get from Bituach Leumi.

In the mir you can get the forms and a letter telling you exactly what you need to take with (I’m not sure if the list above is 100 percent right)

A few weeks after applying you should get a letter from them with your Bituach Leumi numbers you have to take them to the post office with your wife and choose which kupat choilim you want to be on.

You will also get a bill charging you lemafraya for the last 6 months for Bituach Leumi.

After going to the post office you need to go to your kupat choilim and let them know about the changes.

You can then claim your money you have spent the last 6 months on kupat choilim back. You have to send a letter to someone I don’t remember who but its also on the mir paper.

Any more questions feel to ask.

You actually really ARE allowed to wear a talis godoil in the bathroom. (We don’t because its not kovod but halachikly there is no problem).

That is the reason that one doesn’t make a new brocho on a talis godoil if you take it off in the middle of davening because it is not cosidered a hefsek because its mutar to wear it in the bathroom.

Whereas tefilin which is a dovor shebikdusha is ossur to wear in the bathroom and therefore if one tales them off in the middle of davening to go to the bathroom it is a hefsek and you will have to make a new brocho.

Therefore it comes out definetly halachikly there is no prob wearing a hat in the bathroom. And I don’t think there is a problem of kovod either.

Hi everyone I have read through most of this thread, I have just joined as a member

I don’t think this one has been asked yet

A policeman is trying to solve a murder mystery and asks for witnesses.

1 neighbour comes forward and says “it was a cold wintery morning and I came out my house and I heard a commotion coming from next door so I walked up to the window and I wiped off the fog from it and looked inside and saw the dead man on the floor in a pool of blood”.

The policeman takes out a pair of handcuffs and says you are under arrest.

WHY did the police arrest him?
