    You haven’t repeated yourself.
In fact you STILL haven’t replied t oa straight forward simple question.

Whether I got the timing you meant right or wrong is completely irrelevant (I don’t listen to fake prophets I was going by what YOU said)
Bottom line is the prophet you quoted (and said you thought might be telling the truth) was wrong (exactly what dat you realized he was wrong doesnt change the fact that he was wrong)

My question is when you though he might be right, did you think he was deaf, a child or Crazy?

“Maybe that Gemorrah is only by Jews, not by Goyim?!?”

Is that what the Gemara says?
And at any rate so that leaves a 4th possibility for me !

    “Well one prophet I answered”

    no you didn’t

    Here is my question
    you called these people “prophets”
you also said that the prophets are either “deaf kids or crazy”

    question about 2 prophets:

    1) the prophet who correctly predicted that Trump will be impeached twice. Was he deaf a kid or crazy?

    2) The prophet who you quoted on 3/18

    Democrats cheated, Biden won

that “within a month, Trump will be President again.”
This prophet was wrong. Is he still a prophet? Is he a liar?
At the time when you thought he was worth listening to, that he might be a real prophet.
given that prophets are deaf kids or crazy, At the time which did you think he was ?

The historical tidbits, while very fascinating don’t really help our aspiring author.

The bottom line is today, in 2021/5781 Talmudic literature in languages other than Hebrew are not perceived as being serious.

Similarly comments that it shouldn’t be this way are similarly useless. I don’t think the author plans to singlehandedly change the current perception.

His question is simple how to sell books.
Comments that well once upon a time they would have been more mainstream or people should get over themselves and accept emes in any language, while true , aren’t helpful .

bottom line. it is unlikely to become popular* among “many top yungerliet who are alumni of prestigious yeshivos” (their loss)
I think you will find more success marketing it to “non-top” bochurim and yungelit who are struggling a bit

    1) Neither do we , at least not until it was reinterpreted in Heller. We can always just interpret it as it was originally understood for the first 200 years of its existence or so

    2) Even if there was a constitution that allowed individual private gun ownership, that would have no bearing on whether “gun control works” or not.
It sounds like you are saying ok gun control works but we are “stuck” because of the constitution, but the constitution can be amended so this argument doesn’t make much sense

English is not the new yiddish

As you correctly note “Yiddish was THE language of German and Eastern European Jews” (emphasis added) it was not the local language that Jews just happened to speak. It was THEIR language.

Yet on March 31 2021 at 11:33 AM you posted the following ” Bill Gates has been talking about depopulation for years especially “through vaccines”.” * you also wrote “But when a person who has been crying out for pandemics, depopulation and vaccines for so many years is now suddenly in charge of this whole project, it’s a bit concerning.”

    * for the record, Like everything your write this isnt exactly true either
bill Gates said “Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15%”

As you can see if there is concern, the government says so. They recommended pausing the vaccine.
This shows the OPPOSITE of what you contend. There is no secret nefariosu plan to depopulate the world

“Can’t be must be unrelated to the vaccine since there is no proof. ”
It might be unrelated to the vaccine. all 6 of these people (out of 7 million does given !) were young women where they taking OCP’s which are knwon to predispose to blood clots? If so does the vaccine exacerbate the risk or was it just bad timing. time will tell. but now when there are other vaccines available, it makes sense to pause this one while this is sorted out.

    My pending post is wrong

There are an equal number of cardinal (counting) numbers. so the number of numbers and even numbers is the same (if you take a list of numbers, double each you now have a lsit of even numbers just as long as original list) .

nonthless there are different llevels of infinity

see “Some infinities are bigger than others” From cosmos as well as the excellent ted ed video on the “hotel infinity” paradox (linked to there)

    Redleg

“something cannot be MORE infinite than something else.”

while we are nit picking that is not quite true

    There are degrees of infinity.

For example there are an infinite number of Numbers and there are an infinite number of Even numbers.
yet there are more numbers than Even numbers.

Then of course there are an infinite number of numbers BETWEEN any two numbers

The different degrees of inifnity are represented by aleph-0 aleph-1 etc

As a Rebbe of mine once says “ITs hard to be frum its much easier to be frummer”

So instead of working on ourselves we say
“Hey at least I’m better than all those going to ORlando who are don’t have the “therapeutic exercise” (whut?) of cleaning”

    or
“Hey at least I didn’t go to a Pesach program in Dubai that serves deer meat”

    I didn’t check the website

but based on the information provided by a source you need to do the following things to board:

    1) notify them 48 hours in advance that you will be requesting an exemption
    2) complete a Spirit ADA Medical Exemption form or get a letter from a doctor dated 10 days before the flight. These Documents need to be presented 3 hours before the flight
    3) get a negative Covid test within 24 hours of the flight.

According to my source if you satisfy these 3 requirements you will not need to wear a mask. Otherwise you will if you choose to fly with them.*

    Good luck and safe travels

*worth noting that this is the official company policy whether each individual flight attendant is familiar with the policy is an entirely different matter. I would print out their policy to show them and keep your doctors note, completed form and Negative Covid test handy

I don’ t fully understand your gripe

    1) Why do their need to be videos for all these things? If you are unsure thats ok ask if you cant ask your Rabbi, call a hotline, ask many of the online ask -the-rabbi sites,

    2) why does EACH thing need its own video. Search “toveling electric appliances” there are hundreds of results. Why do you need a video for pizza maker, then one presumably for hot water urn, for sandwich maker, George foreman, Pannini press, Keurig, blender, Why do these all have to exist seperatly and why in video form?
Similarly a search for “cutting nails on chol hamoed” yields hundreds of results the second of which is a detailed guide to the laws of chol hamoed from the OU. why does it have to be in video form?

    3) Who is paying for the filming of thousands upon thousands of hours of video addressing every possible question someone may have, who is paying for storage, and organization of this ?
how much would you be willing to pay to have access to such a database? per question? unlimited monthly access?

when by 4/18 (a month from the above post) Trump will not be President, will this prophet have lied? *

“If you’re suggesting Reuven lied to Beis Din, which is not the case I presented, ”
    you didn’t present a case.
Obviously each of these cases involves a myriad of details

” then that’s the Halacha. The request for divorce is rightfully, under explicit Halacha, denied”

Again, That’s the halacha in Even Haezer
There is no explicit halacha that prevents me from practicing my bagpipe “skills” every day when my neighbor tries to take his nap.
Yet most people , would grant that is not a very nice thing to do.

There are many cases where A Rav will encourage someone to give a Get where there is no hope of reconciliation, although m’ikar hadin he isnt obligated too and he is hoping things will change. Are those Rabbonim wrong for needlessly causing gittin that are not required?

“How’s it possible that her Bein adom lechaveiro is to agree to continue the marriage while at the same time his Bein adom lechaveiro is to give a Get??”

I gave you an example: Bein adom lechaveiro involves 2 people. It is your bein adom lechaverio obligation to not let a door hit me in the face, and it is mine ot not make a big deal if you did. The two are not exclusive.

I think I made my point clear.

    I will sum up concisely:

All I am saying is causing tzar to another person by forcing her to remain in a marriage that has no hope of reconciliation, is a wrong thing to do.

    דַּעֲלָךְ סְנֵי לְחַבְרָךְ לָא תַּעֲבֵיד — זוֹ הִיא כׇּל הַתּוֹרָה כּוּלָּהּ

“If you agree that her Bein Adom Lchaveiro obligation is to tell Reuven that she’s willing to continue the marriage then obviously he doesn’t have the contradictory obligation to give her a Get.”

“Suppose Dina asks Reuven for a Get. …”

You left out a lot of details

Is Dina crying herself to sleep everynight? miserable? Can’t stand him. Maybe he is even being verbaly abusive to her

In a case where the answer to the above is yes.
Are you really saying him forcing (no quotes that is what he is doing) her to stay married is a nice thing to do?

“Dina should try her best to put on a smile and tell Reuven that she’s willing to continue the marriage. That would be her Bein Adom Lchaveiro obligation.”

That may very well be, but that wasnt the discussion. what of HIS Bein Adom Lchaveiro obligation THAT is the question

Bein adom lechaveiro involves 2 people. It is your bein adom lechaverio obligation to not let a door hit me in the face, and it is mine ot not make a big deal if you did. The two are not exclusive

Same as above but it didn’t yet get to the point of a Beis Din trial. Reuven has no Bein Adom Lchaveiro obligation to give a Get.

same as above, depends on the circumstances.

If you think forcing a man forcing a woman to remain married to him when she doesnt want to. IS not lacking in bein adom lechaveiro. But her bein adom lechaveiro requires her to remain in an abusive marriage . We must be speaking different languages.

Is that question geared to me?

If you are asking me, the simplest way is for the parents not to eat Gebrokts , as many do, and it sounds like ywnjudy’s family did.
The other possibility is to be violate the minhag for the sake of Sholom bayis, her kibbud av, though he might need hatarsa nedarim (ask your LOr) though seems rather obnoxious on the family’s part which understandably might make him not want to go.

“I think the biggest problem is that someone would look on line for the answer to a halachic shaila.”

    meh
not a problem and not a halachic shailah

    ywnjudy

“Well, speak of minhag, as a child we ate gebrok”
sounds like it isnt your family minhag. ITs nice that your family changed to accommodate a sibling in law, but that in no way obligates you.
Of course if said sibling will be joining with you , you should check with them (though odds are if they keep gebrokts they wouldn’t put any dip, certainly none containing water on matzah)

Not necessarily see last line https://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=25074&st=&pgnum=486

    ywnjudy
There isnt really “hilchos Gebrokts” It is a minhag, keeping minhagim are important. The exact nature of the minhag varies some are makpid on keilim some are not. Some are makpid only on cooked dishes or something that is soaked not if it gets wet 30 seconds before it goes in your mouth (where it will get wet anyway) .

Of course some won’t even put it on the table .

So ywnjudy is it “ok” to dip the matza n it on PEsach?
Well there is some water so strictly speaking it is Gebroks. If your family is very strict then don’t dip it. If sort of strict go for it.

Shabbos Hagadol you have a different issue, as matzah shouldn’t be eaten next Shabbos Erev Pesach

” , but we claim that we are unchanged.”

    Who claims that?

So much has changed We don’t have a Beis hamikdash a king, not too mention countless modern inventions like printing presses, cars etc. Why are all those changes “ok” but changing the script, THAT is where you draw the line?

“What makes us different than the italians, iranians, egyptians and so on ”

    That we keep the Torah.

” what is the proof that we have not changed”
    We have!

    I’m not dismissing your questions.
Just pointing out that your angst over the sudden realization that not everything we do/practice etc is EXACTLY the same is a bit misplaced
