lilmod ulelamaid – Nope it was not really hard because when your hair grows very long it dies so i mineswell cut it so i did.
tzniusMemberlilmod ulelamaid – Why would you need to take off your nail polish to wash for a seuda? I always wash my hands with nailpolish on? Do you mean it was not dry?

tzniusMembergavra_at_work – i chopped my hair off (not literally its up to my shoulder but compared to the waist i chopped it off).
tzniusMemberMeno – For me all nail polish is tznius but for other people please dont rely on my knowledge of what my rav told me please ask your LOR.
tzniusMemberlilmod ulelamaid – I also learn gemera and mishna by myself and i might get tapes from rabbi k to listen to help me since i cannot learn it with a guy. Over winter break which starts next week iy’h i might learn Tanya and rambam as well like how i use to 5 years ago.
tzniusMemberlilmod ulelamaid – I started going to a certain place (not saying the name in case you figure out where i live) that has a lot of shiurim and usually go to it at least once per day if not twice or three times. I learn halacha, parsha, tomer devorah, navi, and lots more fun stuff there and they even sometimes have special speakers come in from all over the place (specifically Israel) to speak. So no, i did not go to the shiurim that you mentioned since as of right now i go to the place where i learn all that i mentioned.
tzniusMemberFor me personally, i like black nail polish. Everyone has their own taste. I shouldnt post that on here being that now everyone can figure me out since im the only frum girl/lady who wears black nailpolish to the shiurim.
tzniusMemberIn the not Jewish world black stands for gothic. Lehavdil like how Jews wear black to a levaya the goyim wear it to remind them of death. So black nail polish reminds people of death.
tzniusMemberThey want them because their good people.
tzniusMemberIts not about the looks of it. The question was if its tznius or not. It isnt so dont wear it. (due to majority of writers that posted it isnt tznius so it probably isnt)

December 4, 2016 11:34 pm at 11:34 pm in reply to: Why are you a religious/torah observant Jew? #1196499tzniusMemberBecause i believe in Hashem. You CANT truly believe in Hashem if you dont keep the Torah. You cant keep by the Torah and not believe in Hashem. They go together you need to be an observant Jew in order to truly believe in Hashem and in order to believe in Hashem you must keep the Torah.
