Common syachel i agree every now and here someone makes an extremely anti chasidish thread such as “why do chasidishes never say tachnun” or “why dont we learn on reb shayeles yartzeit instead of fressing”. we need to hate the hatred (sarcasim). but this thread is a bit of a scam

Why do you give any credibility to TS BAUM as the defender of lubavitch. he sounds like a nice bochur but hes not representing anyone except himself. if you wana know what chabad is about learn Eyin Beis, if you wana know about chai vkaim and all those inyanim learn the sicha of vyaakov lo meis ( i think nun beis). if you wana just shtech and shtech then im sorry for interupting and you may continue after jabbing this comment a couple times. 🙂

why bedafke lekutei diburim. A bochur should start off with nun tes and then go to sefer hamomorim yidish and ala zachen. Ask a litvak what keser is. Nu what is keser?

Watching YouTube in a lot of cases is sholos klipas hatmeios, but bdieved once youtube is already in most frum homes it is important to have a ‘kosher’ presence so as to possibly prevent watching tuma. Many times over when it comes too shiurim that they should be all over youtube so that instead of getting a video of tuma being recommended you get eli stefanskys daf yomi shiur or a meangfull minute video of some rav giving a powerfull message. lechatchila obviously youtueb should be off the agenda but its very hard to get people stop once its already a popular inyan.

    >BUT their result should be a lesson to all of us that you should not just ignore vehement opposition from Talmedey Chachomim from other groups

‘Talmedey Chachomim’ such as @smerel, @avira and @HaKatan.
You guys are mamash your own metzius. in tosfos taanis i think daf vov or zayin tosfos asks on the gemera saying one who learns torah lo lishma its sam hamavas but in pirkei ovos it says in pirkei ovos mitoichlo lishma bo lishma. he answers that in mitoich lo lishma its talking about for schar such as gashmius or ruchnius such as oilom haba (as the rambam discusses in sharei teshuvah perek yud i believe that learning for oilom haba is lo lishma) or just plain enjoyment, but in taanis its talking about learning torah to shtech and prove others wrong, that is mamash sam hamoves. i think its clear that alot of users on this thread are using torah for the wrong reasons and are just drinking “sam hamoves”

    >the organizers began with a vehi noam, that “the rebbe should look down and we should find favor before him”
i think it is very clear to any unbias human, that they hope their rebbi is having nachas from the initiatives he established. to call it avoide zora is crossing the line and your poshut twisting poshute things and accusing frume yidden of disgusting inyanim. Btw you dont need to let out what happened to you earlier in life on people you have never met. calling it avoide zorah is crossing a line.

“going out to the world and being mekarev people”. What are you bringing close (being mekarev)? are you connecting a yid to the eibershter? Mi Yoideia gedulasa umhaloson bshorshon eloikim chaim? who are you, ts baumb, to say that you are bringing a fellow neshomo close? This neshomah might be on a much higher madreiga then you. Only the eibershter knows this neshomos shaichis. It is up to us to be megala this sheichis in an oifin of giluy to havaye.

Leah phones her husband at work, “Issy, do you have time for a chat?”
“Sorry, darling, this is not a good time – I’m about to go into a board meeting.”
“But this won’t take long,” Leah says, “I just want to tell you some good news and some bad news.”
“I really haven’t the time,” says Issy, “so just quickly tell me the good news.”
“Oh all right then, the good news is that the air bag on your new Lexus works very well.”

Harry went for a job interview. It seemed to go well because before he left, he was told, “We would like you to work for us. We’ll give you $10 an hour starting today and in three months time we’ll increase it to $15 an hour. So when would you like to start?”
Harry replies, “In about 3 months from now.”

A motorist, driving by a Texas ranch, hit and killed a calf that was crossing the road. The driver went to the owner of the calf and explained what had happened. He then asked what the animal was worth.
“Oh, about $200 today,” said the rancher. “But in six years it would have been worth $900. So $900 is what I’m out.”
The motorist sat down and wrote out a check and handed it to the farmer.
“Here,” he said, “is the check for $900. It’s postdated six years from now.”
