5 Boys, 5 Girls, alternating first one boy (the b’chor), then one girl, etc. No twins.
TumsMemberDaas, it’s hard to put a “rental agreement” on the cover. “Reference” to it is insufficient. Unless the entirety of the “agreement” is visible prior to purchase, it is not binding.
If the customer opens the CD and the “agreement” says that in order to use this CD you just “rented” the purchaser is required to first dunk in the Arizal’s mikveh 7 times, is the customer unable to ever play his CD until then? If he doesn’t agree to that term (which he never saw until he opened the CD package) will the store take back the opened CD? If not, the “agreement” is not binding.
TumsMemberDaas, my question is to you.
TumsMemberWhy did the blonde get so excited after she finished her jigsaw puzzle in only 6 months? Because on the box it said From 2-4 years.
TumsMemberWhy can’t blondes take coffee breaks? They’re too hard to re-train.
TumsMemberDiscuss a shiur you heard.
TumsMemberWhen is the customer given the rental agreement? Before purchase or after opening the package? The latter would be non-binding unless a return would accepted if the agreement is unacceptable to the customer.
TumsMemberSleep little, as everyone will get to catch up on all the sleep they need in the cemetery. It is for an eternity.
TumsMemberI never saw a rental agreement on any CD’s in the Jewish music stores.
TumsMemberI thought its when you hiccup that someone is talking about you.
February 18, 2011 4:58 pm at 4:58 pm in reply to: How Many Grandchildren Do You Hope To Have? #741925TumsMemberAs many as my children can raise happily and successfully.
You think Hashem will give you more than you can handle without your intervention?
TumsMemberHow much do you want this time?
TumsMemberI don’t want to get married that badly
You should want to get married that badly.
TumsMemberA wife who is never satisfied.
TumsMemberHow can the producer impose terms of sale on the purchaser, unless the customer is provided a copy of what he is agreeing to PRIOR to making the purchase? If the terms are not spelled out to the CD buyer prior to his purchase, they cant be binding on him. (Unless he can return the opened CD if he doesn’t agree to the terms specified after opening the package. But I don’t think any producer or store will take back an open CD.)
TumsMemberGreat idea aries. But how likely do you think you are to change the world to follow that idea?
TumsMember“Live and let live” – another goyish expression to avoid.
TumsMemberIt is a chiyuv to stand up.
How is this even a question?
TumsMember“Support” and “patriotic” are not synonymous.
And can you name some of the many Gedolim? And specifically what they said.
TumsMemberYet according to the poskim that disallow it, someone who does it — even with a rabbi’s permission — is causing the lav m’doraysa of chillul Shabbos.
TumsMemberJews are obligated to support the country they live in. Being patriotic is not just a nice thing, it is a chiyuv.
I am as patriotic as they come, but where is this so-called “chiyuv” mentioned in Shulchan Aruch? (And I don’t mean paying taxes or following the law.)
TumsMemberEven forgetting the punishment for violating Shabbos is very severe and it is quite difficult to imagine a justification to enable someone else to violate it, it is counterintuitive to supposedly invite someone for ‘kiruv’ to allegedly get them to keep Shabbos — by having them violate the very Shabbos you’re supposedly trying to convince them to keep!
TumsMemberHe has a wise Rabbi who knows Kiruv.
TumsMemberThe fact that it is even a shaila whether to listen to Carlebach, itself is a statement.
TumsMemberThe Wolf is correct. G-d was *added* to the pledge. The pledge includes a reference to G-d.
That is a good thing.
TumsMemberWhat tune and whatever is a Carlebach Kabbalas Shabbos?
TumsMemberI second apushatayid.
TumsMemberSJS – The first study is only regarding physical abuse. The second study doesn’t address the phenomenon of abusive women.
TumsMemberMy vote is with Mod 80.
Goq – Mod 80 didn’t claim that he is always right. Nor did he even claim he is correct on this issue. (But others have said he is right.)

If it was foreseeable that a notable amount of the usage would be in a forbidden manner.
TumsMemberSo you’d rather stand on principle and lose your sleep?
TumsMemberIt is based in fact. And it is rampant in modern society just as well.

Were you ever contacted by the girl who eventually married him, prior to their engagement? If not, I can’t imagine you did anything wrong, since she/they never contacted you.

Smartcookie, it is better than many divorces and unhappy marriages. Is it true that by the Chassidim, there are more divorces? Or they just stay married so that the street should not talk?
POSTED 20 MINUTES AGO #
Make up your mind mdd. Do you hate Chasidim because they have “more divorces” (which is factually inaccurate – they have much less) – or because you prefer to make a baseless allegation they “stay married” so people shouldn’t talk? You are making contradictory claims — both without evidence and factually false.
TumsMemberchesedname: Or vice versa.

TumsMemberIs it my computer or is it the site? I only have slowness over here.
TumsMemberrashkebehab is 100% correct.
TumsMemberI surely hope only girls see these shows. I trust they are NOT videotaped.
It is bad enough that the standards have fallen to the point where they are picking up non-Jewish styles and forgoing tznius, but at least I would hope they have the common sense to not record it.
TumsMemberJax has MPD?
