Be happy she didn’t give him a time frame…. All kinds of people, all places.
tryinghardMemberI would rather look at “how” she/he drank the beer. What difference does it make if it’s beer or water. Some people, myself included, can’t drink water. This being the case, why may I not have a drink of beer instead?
tryinghardMemberI got a very honest opinion from LaserImage in BP (got her # from the Binah, and my friend used her). She told me my hair is not right for laser (She explained why, didn’t pay much attn.). I also asked her about pain (my first question), she said if you don’t do what is necessary, then it does hurt. She said you need to put something on before (don’t remember what she said), and cool with ice when done. I ended up doing elec. It did hurt. But, hey, you are burning the root, so why not?
tryinghardMemberToday’s mighty oak is yesterday’s nut that held its ground.
tryinghardMemberRaphael Kaufman: My Spanish cleaning lady doesn’t speak English. Are you saying she is second class?
tryinghardMemberThe same way you would treat her, would she not be suffering from infertility. She’s not allergic to kids, neither to that topic. Include her in all you do, and never stop talking when she enters the room. May she be zocha to be a mother of her own very soon, and may all her/your suffering come to an end.
tryinghardMemberAccording to my calendar, Pesach is 4/18. Is it fooling me?
tryinghardMemberWorking: not a funny question at all. Happy for you that you got a “feeling” of joining such a great team. Good luck to you in every way. Sorry, I don’t have their number. Hopefully, someone out there will be able to provide you with it.
tryinghardMemberI’ll ask all the “free” people to breathe for you. How much $$ a breath? Rain is predicted for the next few days, so let them enjoy a day off from pesach cleaning.
April 7, 2011 3:20 pm at 3:20 pm in reply to: Do You Own/Lease/Finance Your Car? Which one and Why? #756740tryinghardMemberI know of a few people who unfortunately lost a lot of $$ in the past few yrs. I know of someone who can’t pay for bread, but “has” to pay his monthly lease. It is very hard on him; especially since people believe he doesn’t “want” to pay his bills, not because of money…. Because if he can afford such a fancy car, he can afford to pay his bills. Speak to people in such a situation before leasing. Good Luck!
April 5, 2011 4:17 pm at 4:17 pm in reply to: Avraham, are we the children that you dreamed of? #1133811tryinghardMemberWe are a great nation, a nation to be proud of. We try, don’t give up. Are given the hardest nisyonas, and we still believe in the one Avrohom did. Can you find another nation Avrohom should have chosen?
tryinghardMemberTo all yiddishe mamas! Wow are you lucky! No feeling as good as stretching out after a day of hard work! Sorry men!
tryinghardMemberI would definitely want you to tell me if this would be my child.
About the mother…. She was probably just overwhelmed with pesach cleaning. She did not mean to offend you in any way. Either way, you just continue doing what you did. An ounce of prevention is better than a lb. of cure.
March 24, 2011 3:35 am at 3:35 am in reply to: Bochrim Spray-Paint Over Not Tzniyus Advertisement #759803tryinghardMemberPerhaps one of you would contact your local rav and ask him what should’ve been done? Just so that we all know what to do in the future.
tryinghardMemberWhat’s with all the government funds schools get? Is it not part of their income? Where is all that money going to? For the schools under a mosed (meaning not privately run), there should be no talk about too little money. What is Building Fund money for? According to what I know, these buildings come from their father (the rabbi) who bought them after the war. Why are we, the parents, being choked?
tryinghardMemberFirst get me a teacher earning $50k…. Then, I might agree w/you that schools/yeshivas are on a tight budget.
tryinghardMemberExpensive indeed. But, did you ever think of our totta in himel? He gives kids, and the money to support them. With every child, comes a malach. Why push him away cause of a little tuition?
tryinghardMemberDon’t know which PS your husband teaches in. The PS across my house… BAD! They have around 30 kids coming out at 3:00. Want to see wildlife safari, come visit. At 4:00, you can see the yiddish kids coming home from school (lehavdil) not a loud voice can be heard. If anybody ever touches the garbage can it is to make place for others. Not to throw a glass bottle (like the goyim).
