Ally. ????? ??????.
Thank you SaysMe, I was starting to think that I’m crazy…

Torah613TorahParticipantThat one’s too long and discontinuous. Here you have to stay on your own topic. (My topic is currently how this thread is the best.)
Torah613TorahParticipantHad some delicious mushroom soup from Pomegranate. Good idea Popa!
Torah613TorahParticipantHe’s a performer, with the usual emotional and spiritual challenges that come with that personality.
Don’t like don’t watch.
Torah613TorahParticipantThank you for posting, Emes. It sounds really interesting.
Torah613TorahParticipantnanny: Yes, I would rather take fewer trips on El Al then fly another airline. I think it’s safer to be around other Jews in general.
But my trips are pleasure trips. It would be different if it was for business.
Torah613TorahParticipantPomegranate exists for a reason, you know.
But if you’re desperate, you should use the microwave.
Torah613TorahParticipantShabbos Hagadol Drashos for women depend on the speaker. If it’s a Dayan it will be about halacha. If it’s a Rebbetzin it will be hashkafa.
Torah613TorahParticipantThis is the best topic ever.
Torah613TorahParticipantI think it’s time to change my voicemail from what I had in high school. It needs to be a bit more professional.
Torah613TorahParticipantRight, and I want to encourage Jews to continue being Shomer Shabbos.
Torah613TorahParticipantNu, so post his first name.
I mean “unusual first name in New Jersey” really narrows it down.
March 20, 2013 11:49 pm at 11:49 pm in reply to: Stuffing Your Face w/ Marror, Red as a Tomato #940612Torah613TorahParticipantWho said I do? I eat maybe a milligram of marror. Lettuce I like.
*IDEA*
Anyone know if I can I eat bitter chocolate instead of maror?
March 20, 2013 11:27 pm at 11:27 pm in reply to: National Business Conference for Frum Women #939848Torah613TorahParticipantWhy is advertising being posted?
May i ask what the “perfect” price is?
Torah613TorahParticipantaproudbyg: You seem to be a strong person. Keep it up! Over time you will develop a stronger sense of self and be able to ascertain what help you really need.
If you cannot afford therapy or are simply afraid to ‘rock the boat’, you should call the Yitty Leibel Helpline 718- 435-7669. You can reach professional, free, confidential, frum women there who will help you get to the next step.
Meanwhile, make sure you eat right, sleep well, and exercise. Take a multivitamin. I know it sounds stupid, but it will help you get through this time and enable you to deal with your problems with a clearer head.
March 20, 2013 11:18 pm at 11:18 pm in reply to: Stuffing Your Face w/ Marror, Red as a Tomato #940610Torah613TorahParticipantEvery person has their hiddur mitzva. We enjoy a much easier life than our forebears did, and this probably helps some feel the suffering a little more.
Torah613TorahParticipantI can tell you right now: It will be a boy or girl.
Torah613TorahParticipantA good distraction for the media.
Torah613TorahParticipantMr. Shadchan, are you typing from a Hebrew keyboard? Or pasting from Davka? You need to change the language either on your browser or the computer.
Also, I don’t believe that story. Between my experiences, my friends’ experiences, and my friends’ friends experiences that I heard about, a really top guy would never do this.
You can read my manifesto here since I really don’t feel strongly enough about the matter to talk about it any more.

Torah613TorahParticipantAs long as El Al is Shomer Shabbos, that’s what I fly.
Torah613TorahParticipantSimple and unpretentious, he is not.
Don’t believe Squeak people – you can’t possibly think that he knows any more than you do about it. He’s just making it up to make us feel good. And we on YWN are very honest people and believe things. Which is annoying because I really want to believe this story, but won’t until I know the names of the people involved.
Squeak, any proof?
Torah613TorahParticipantWhat is it with man dachar shamay lately?? I’m glad I looked it up the first time.
This whole thread makes no sense. Scholarships inflate tuition inflates branding.
Torah613TorahParticipantWe are not slaves, so we get to take breaks from our labor.
Torah613TorahParticipantI’m sorry to inform you that Shabak will not be in need of your services. Meanwhile, Tizku l’mitzvos!
Torah613TorahParticipantI think in the context in the thread Squeak refers to, it means Ruach Hakodesh.
March 20, 2013 1:57 pm at 1:57 pm in reply to: Books: Recs and Where To Buy Hebrew Softcover #1004985Torah613TorahParticipantYeshivaguy: We have the Sfas Emes Hagada, and enjoy it very much. We also have the one by Rabbi Spero. It’s great. I think we even have the one by Rabbi Twerski but will go check. Thanks for the suggestions!
Saysme: Thanks! You’re on the right track because that was my Seder book last year, I couldn’t recall the name. 🙂 I enjoyed the novelization very much, it was different from any other Pesach book I have ever read. Any other suggestions?
Squeak: I love the Sedorim, but our Seder is a little long for me, and I start to fall asleep. If I have an interesting book to read it keeps me up so people don’t have to keep on waking me when we’re up to the next part.
Torah613TorahParticipantNow I know squeak is not a woman…

Torah613TorahParticipantI think fungi are chometz. Yeast are fungi aren’t they?
Torah613TorahParticipantWhat are your thoughts on Carlos Slim?
Bill Gates?
Hashem has seen fit to give him money. Good for him, I hope he and his family enjoy his money.
What else are we supposed to think?
Torah613TorahParticipantWe have a paper that shows the size of a k’zayis.
Does a k’zayis count the seed, or not?
Torah613TorahParticipanthineni muchan umezuman, I am hereby yotzei everyone for the obligatory attempt at humor about how there is no clarity on the matter.
Torah613TorahParticipantWe’re dumbstruck with jealousy, is all.
March 20, 2013 1:42 am at 1:42 am in reply to: Books: Recs and Where To Buy Hebrew Softcover #1004978Torah613TorahParticipantbumping since the CR is hopping today.
Torah613TorahParticipantWIY: Why not?
YW Editor: Would love to see that sight!
Torah613TorahParticipantphonetically
Torah613TorahParticipantWIY: Don’t give them any ideas. 🙂
Torah613TorahParticipantIt’s something Rebbish Chassidim do. Like a mitzva tantz.
March 19, 2013 11:09 pm at 11:09 pm in reply to: 50 Y.O. Women Grocery Shopping In 3" Heeled Pumps On A Slushy Thursday Night? #938905Torah613TorahParticipantI was just in Pomegranate, it was fairly busy, and not one woman who crossed my line of sight was wearing high heels.
Although everyone looked very shtady. But that’s because only rich people can afford to shop at Pomegranate on a regular basis.
Torah613TorahParticipantchometz lollipop?
Torah613TorahParticipantsharp: yeah. Feeling a lot better today.
Torah613TorahParticipantI second OOM.
Welcome back OOM! I missed your posting.
Torah613TorahParticipantBest place to get deals!
I was just in Pomegranate. No high heels in sight!
Torah613TorahParticipantPBT: To spell? We all need to learn to trust in Hashem.
Torah613TorahParticipantabracadabra: We’re usually talking… and most of the vorts/lchaims etc that I attend are not in halls, they’re in homes. And I only come for a few minutes. It’s entirely possible I missed something like this.
Besides there are enough references to it that it must happen.
Torah613TorahParticipantyentapeshashprintzagneshe: Everything is in Hashem’s hands.
hardatwork: I think a guy would have to be really really really cheap to do that in a hotel lounge. OTOH maybe he should just take her to a place where they don’t sell drinks, like a park. Then it shows planning.
Torah613TorahParticipantAny matza bakery.
