Pretty and skinny girls also get criticized for their looks by shadchanim. Usually by people who think that they control shidduchim, and if they don’t marry you off, no one will ever marry you. It’s not true and shidduchim can come from anywhere that Hashem wants. Do your best with what you have and don’t take it personally.

My story is the only one where a shadchan could possibly cause weight gain. All of your stories / opinions / arguments will result in weight loss.

There is an obvious solution: Every time you see a monkey, look at a handsome talmid chacham (preferably your husband) twice.
Be careful that the shtick doesn’t run into lashon hara issues.
There are two types of shtick:
1. Typical shtick – tables, the maypole, popping balloons.
2. Personalized shtick – this usually consists of signs that have in-jokes on them.
