ToiParticipantstorm an embassy
ToiParticipanti spelt receive wrong, twice.
ToiParticipanti find it ironic that health as a divorced man is recieving nothing but criticism for expressing his views on divorce, while i strongly assume that any woman on here in the same postion would recieve nothing but sympathy.

ToiParticipantannoying israeli response- well i always use blah blah blah in yerushalayim theyre the best and if u make aliyah you can use them too.
ToiParticipantRN- you begin to shtell avekk exactly what the criteria are for certain minhagim, and then go on to say that others are lav davka. brilliant.
ToiParticipanthi feif.
i always kick peoples heels by hoshanas if theyre going too slow. they think its by accident so they chap to hurry up. but really its on purpose.
ToiParticipanthaifa- minhag yerushalayim is actually not to.
ToiParticipantpba- to clarify, the ones available for purchase here are junk. maybe theyre picked and packaged in turkey. what shaychis to diba al haaretz. youre pretty dumb.
ToiParticipantmoski- touche lol.
ToiParticipanti cant understand why no-one has imported american aravos to israel. israeli ones are junk. they die in a day. american ones can last the whole succos if kept right.
ToiParticipantcant win’m all i guess.
ToiParticipantheres another.
a man used to make the trip to and from the nearby town everyday in order to do business. he was newly married, and as it was shana rishona, his wife would accompany him on his travels. one day his usually faithfully horse stopped in the middle of the road and wouldnt budge. he screamed and kicked (the farmer) but the horse wouldnt listen. he got off the wagon holding his whip, and gave it to the horse good. after a sound beating, the farmer looked the horse in the eye and said,”Horsey, thats one!” life continued as usual until the horse didnt listen once again. and once again the farmer showed it who was boss, and ended hs beating with “Horsey, thats two!” vichulihu. the third time this behavior occured, tha farmer got off the wagon, went around the side for his shotgun, walked over to the horse and said, “Horsey, thats three!” and promptly blew his head off. The young wife was understandably horrified. as the man returned to the wagon she asked him,” How could you possibly kill your faithful horse so coldly?!” the man looked his wife straight in the eye, and answered,”Wifey, thats one!”
ToiParticipanthorsey, thats two.

ToiParticipantyekke- my rebbe (who is a first class posek and fluent in shas) told me that printing is indeed a problem.
ToiParticipanthaters.
ToiParticipanti found a worm growing from a branch. so i ate it.
ToiParticipantmen have more chiyuvim because they have it tougher. women have their issues and yetzerharas, but a woman would freak if she knew what was flying in a mans head.

ToiParticipantless- so we should expose our kids to all things unholy in a futile attempt to keep them normal? brilliant. anyway, we used to teach our english teachers that ani chamor meant good morning. principal wasnt too pleased.
ToiParticipantmaybe cuz its pointy like a football.
September 12, 2012 8:11 pm at 8:11 pm in reply to: This may sound like a crazy question but I'm serious… #941846ToiParticipantits actually not so klor. because nowadays people are nearly or all gilgulim, which gilgul do you come back as?
ToiParticipantgo to home depot and buy a couple of hanging florescent fixtures and use white plastic cardboard stuff on top to keep them dry. cheaper and works.
ToiParticipantshpitz is a yiidish word. it means the point, as in the point of a nail. shpitzy means pointy; in yiddish its shpitzig. it is used in the vernacular to mean the pinnacle of something. so shpitz yeshivish means the pinnacle of yeshivish. but its not reall the teich. i heard a RY make a machaah on “shpitzig’ shich”, the ones commonly worn by yeshiva bochurim.
September 12, 2012 4:17 pm at 4:17 pm in reply to: simple question: who decides when to close a thread? #896429ToiParticipantwhat site is this?
ToiParticipantI think it’s actually a valid spelling, just less commonly used.
ToiParticipantI make hamotzi. snort.

ToiParticipantI really hoped that this thread wouldnt get answered. you guys ruined it.
ToiParticipantI imagine this RY never even had a hava amina that this maaseh would be considered news to the people here at ywn. i think he meant to quietly give mussar to someone, showing him the seriousness with which the gedolim of EY have assured iphones. he is not terrible or disgusting; he cares about this guys neshama. daas balebatim doesnt change his intent.
September 5, 2012 3:55 pm at 3:55 pm in reply to: Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman tells Yidden to shun secular education #895779ToiParticipantare ROB and zdad once again poking fun at a person whos madreiga they can never hope to approach? yes! im not one to do the whole “im being mocheh” thing, really do whatever you want, but do you understand how daft you appear when opining that you know better then one of the undisputed gedolei hador? Edited
ToiParticipantThis is the scariest, most emotionally-charged thread i’ve ever read. people need to step back and leave this to people who are trained and qualified to deal with it. our hate for people will not fix things.
ToiParticipantmp- if a father abandons a son on a doorstep in infancy, and they are reuinted 50 years later when the father is dying and in ned of aid, the son is mechuyav midi’oraysa to help him. kibud av is not taluy in feelings.
ToiParticipantR Yehoshua Leib diskin ztl deals with the problem, and gives 2 answers. one is short so ill write it. one isnt, so look it up. he says that although hes getting killed for sofo lihastim es habrios, whick lechoira means killing, and therefore shouldnt be subject to skilah, he will also be oiver chamuros like chillul shabbos, which one gets skila for. Ay, then why are we killing him now for that, wait for him to be michallel shabbos. he says that the torah is chas on the lives of klal yisrael. therefore, we’ll kill him now so he cant kill anone, but we’ll give him the oinsesh for the chamuros he wouldve committed.
ToiParticipantyit- he means bidei shomayim. we dont have the yichoiles anyway today to kill people, so he must have meant that. in which case hes right.
ToiParticipantGAW- im n ot entering into the actual debate here, im so tired of the same arguments. i just want to point out that your post above about avoda zara isnt as pashut as you say. i dont want to elucidate here for fear of being called a kofer by dumb people, but in truth its a discussion. not independant per se, but certainly something else.
ToiParticipanti dont remember reading anything as horrible as a boy having his mouth stapled shut. just awful.
