says me- umm i got a nikon d50 for 250, then payed 200 shek for two more lenses (old and manual everything, but that really teaches you what youre doing). at the time i was looking into the lumix lx5, but it was nearly 200 dollars more and no comparison. my point and shoot, before i got into it, was an old lumix from 4 or 5 years ago. great camera.

saysme- theres a famous photographer who only allowed himself one photo a day to make sure he learned how to perfect his technique. i think the idea isnt about pric, its about what the camera is made for and specializes in. for example, your newest point and shot with all the bells and whistles doesnt come close to a 6-10 year old dslr.

i guess a full frame cameras with any lense with a wide aperture would be best for any portrait, but those tend to be the really pro (read:expensive) cameras. its nice to see that other people are into this. i mostly like to do outdoors/scenery stuff. im not that into real portrait photography, though ill shoot people casually.

its called a brit yitzchak. parts of the zohar are split among the people who come and everyone reads. usually refreshmnents are served. then …drum role… a small ornate sword/dagger is waved over the kid to destroy mazikim. what up.

yichus- not true- i’m native, as you know, and real torontonians will occasionally say it with a ch. my father does it consistently, and i catch myself doing it too. personally, i say torono.

R.T.- spelling with an aleph is yiddish and in english would be pronounced tuhruhnto. with a vav is ivrit.

health- common myth supposedly! some do, most don’t. More common for brooklyners to call it torono i’m told!

shtusim. im from toronto, and lived there all my life. any real natives say torono. with no ‘t’. any immigrant yeshivish people generally dont.

haifa- Firstly, I’d like to point out that your name isn’t capitalized, which will be an unpleasant stain on your otherwise spotless grammer record. Forever.

anyway, soapy water doesnt actually do anything to them except for momentarily suffocating them. as soon as you turn around, itll be back under the cabinet. get a spray can of k-300 and go vild.
