Ca while it is fitting that an enemy state of Israel is punished please remember many of the dead are innocent people, sure they may hate us but that doesnt make them terrorists, we should never reloice at the death of innocents. They are no less victims than the ones in Haiti.

Ok ill admit the cr means a great deal to me, growing up in my fathers house my opinion was meaningless every thing i would try to contribute to a conversation was met with derision i had low self esteem for much of my life, then i found therapy and i learned over time that i do have some value, that things i say may be funny or interesting, after years of therapy i felt like a great weight had been lifted off of me and i could express myself without fear of reprisal or condemnation.
Do i overpost and spend too much time here yes, but its very meaningful for me to get feedback on things i have to say. To have something u say be meaningful to someone else is a great reward but i feel the cr is in a way a family are we a perfect family ? no, do we fight sometimes? yes but i think we choose to stay here because of one another and how the impact of a kind word can lift up your whole day.

lol ty ayc, but my aunts mean alot to me , and they are a connection to a different time , i enjoy hearing stories about when my parents were kids, stories about grandparents i never got to know.

Ayc i apologize for not responding to this thread earlier, first my condolonces on your loss may you know no more sorrow, having never been married i cant imagine what it must be like to lose someone so close to you , someone that is part of your very being, i cant tell you to be joyful and put it aside you need time to mourn, whatever you do just choose to be around others friends family whatever dont sit in a room by yourself invite yourself out for yontif meals even if it is hard to see others enjoying themselves on some level it will be therapeutic i wish you all the best you are one of the nicest people here and i look forward to reading what you have to say.

If money is tight than some things have to go by the wayside maybe you should just make a small donation to the Yeshiva and give your nephew a gift which combined will probably be cheaper, of course its a mitzvah to give toa worthwhile mosad but you should spend more than you are comfortable with.
