No RebYidd people are crazy and sadly the real world will not distract them, they closet themselves in a tech blanket and use this alternate “reality” to live their “lives”.
He’s the kind of politician who does not care about who he offends he does what he feels is right for him and the country.
I think what ticked off ZD and irritated me as well was the assumption that if your depressed you must be at risk there is no connection to clinical depression and lack of emunah its a disease treat it as such.
Going to therapy doesn’t automatically mean you will be on meds but if the DOCTOR thinks you should be then what is wrong with that? i was on meds and I still take one for social anxiety I might not even need it anymore but it works for me.
Therapy was extremely beneficial to me I am a completely different person than i was before it and all for the better its about being honest about what is really wrong in your life and knowing you are the one that can make it better much hatzlacha.

Of course parents should be careful with whom their child hangs with but if you send your child to a school for its hashkafos presumably the other children from that school should be fine, you cant put your children in a bubble.

Joe there’s nothing wrong in feeling pride in your hometown but that does not mean that other people from other places don’t feel the same way about theirs, you sound like a typical NYer, being a NYer is like being a Yankees fan its way too easy its like being force fed chocolates but more does not equal better I am proud to be a Cubs fan yes they have not won it all in over a century but sometimes life is hard for some and when i was young that summer when the Cubs were especially awful (yeah i know there were a lot of those) and that other team in town was having a good year unlike my brothers i did not jump ship sometimes life is not about having it all its about appreciating what you do have.

That is unfortunately true Abba being on assistance is like drugs its an addiction, but it should be a last resort for truly impoverished people not a lifestyle! Honorable people should strive for self sufficiency.

This is false people are made to believe that they have to live in the NY metro area for schools and for shidduchim and they move here out of need not preference its like if theres a lot of small grocery stores and one humongous one people will say well you have to go to big shmuliks they have everything! and if you dont go people will brand you as a small timer so to fit in or just because your led to believe you cant live without 300 types of hummus you go but that does not mean you are happier there.

Why is it so ingrained to rely on govt or tzedakah? parents should be responsible for their children.
When I see tzedakah ads for multiple orphans I have to wonder why life insurance was not purchased, it is certainly noble to support such causes but why would you want your family to have to ask for help?
