I have a kosher subway near me it is one of the few places that delivers so i get from there once in a while i like the sandwiches and the one by me makes thursday night cholent, i find the prices pretty decent my favorites are the meatball sub and the veggie patty sub.

Daas you know as well as i do there are plenty of boys in yeshiva/kollel who do not have a passion for learning they do it because that is the culture that they were brought up in.

yes daas if they are learning lishma than that is great, but if they are learning and living off the sacrifices of others and don’t really love learning but they are doing it because everyone else does it than that is a problem

I think respect comes with age, now they are studying lets see how they use what they have learned, i’m sure learning is arduous in its own way but let them progress and use their knowledge in a practical way weather through teaching or rabbunus or kiruv, i think if you are spending year after year in study it should lead somewhere constructive.

deer RB dont tell me how to feel if you pick up a phone and a person is screaming at you u dont have to compartmentalize wether i should feel abused or not im the one taking the brunt of the attack and no i am not here to protect my boss quite the other way around if it his decisions that cause people to be upset than he should be the one to deal with it not I.

thanks for the visual gefen reminds me of the storm of 79 we were off of school for a week and played in the snow all day making tunnels and sledding it was an awesome week.

Real brisker, it is my job to answer the phones and to forward the calls to the appropriate party, but i am not there to be abused and treated like garbage, one can be upset about something but it is not appropriate to unload your anger at the low level person answering the phone, every situation can be handled with civility i will not put up with abuse ever.

If this thread is implying that certain jewish artists are stealing i think it is a slippery slope. If its an out and out parody like the maccabeats chanukah song thats one thing but i dont think anyone should suggest that someone in the jewish music industry would steal ideas. I’m sure that wasn’t your intention apy but it could be taken that way.
