I agree with the pacing part pacing by others always unnerves me, in the Yeshiva where i work the bochrim are constantly pacing while talking on their cell phones having someone pace in front of you is very distracting.

been there know it, i agree when the men come home the women should say good shabbos and be on their way, its nice to shmooze but sometimes the shmoozing goes on seemingly forever as a minority man in a mostly female office it does get grating when they shmooze and shmooze and shmooze it never seems to end.
