Ok watever maybe a little exaggeration but extra 5 mins walk. My parents dont care if she uses that street. Its the schools that care. FEelings chumra? blaaa! If people want to stop bumping into lots of boys use different streets but dont make it a rule.. it should be ur OWN judgement of the situation. And no its not my parents fault for any feelings i may have towards gatehead what about being dan lekaf zechus??? maybe certain very respected rabbis has done all this hate to me? of course unintentionlly but THEY did it, not my parents chas vesholom!
I live in Gateshead and that is not just the only pathetic rule. The girls cant walk on some streets where yeshivos are, the street connecting my sisters school to my house has a yeshiva on so my sister has to walk all around the block an extra 15 mins just to get to school coz of this pathetic rule.
I was going to Lakewood for a weekend and know that they have standards of dress.Therefore i asked a friend what they all wear …My friend said they all wear a white button down shirt and tie. So I borrowed a shirt , bought a silver tie …good to go .
I arrive fully dressed for shabbos and EVERYONE IS STARING. turns out ….only the GUYS wear that ! so yes , there is a problem with the tie ..if you are a dudette 🙂
