Little FroggieMember
Watch out people, don’t respond, don’t give out this most personal identifying information. Imagine someone in a car (tinted windows) going all around the globe scanning people for their height… stop in front on one person.. two hooded men (CR emblems) grab, drag him into the car, run off to the netherworld, nethersphere… scary…
People of the world – I WARNED YOU!!
May 26, 2014 3:20 pm at 3:20 pm in reply to: For PF to Vicariously Rant Endlessly About the Over-Emphasis of Iyun through PAA #1045707Little FroggieMemberFight it out, guys. Call me back into the bais medrash when either declares total complete and unanimous victory.
Until then I’ll blog away!!!
Little FroggieMemberDon’t worry, most of them are totally bent out of shape.
Little FroggieMemberWOW!! Very cute. Thanks!
(and SaysMe, no, it was one of those in & out ones, 1.45 minutes to a patient)
Little FroggieMemberSorry Mod(x). I don’t know what word offended you. Aren’t you able to just edit one word? I have no recollection of writing one nasty bad word. It was just showing my disgust towards this utter contempt and foul behavior in HaShem’s house. (I did not save it, I was sure you’d approve and not side with the party goers, was I wrong?!?)
done
Little FroggieMemberFinally I found my match. Someone with as much time…
Little FroggieMemberI will be Dan Lkaf Zchus the Rav. He probably did make a protest, it just got deleted. Just like my post voicing my slight displeasure at this offense to Kvod Shamaim that got deleted.
You can resubmit if you change one questionable word.
Little FroggieMemberUch!!
This makes me so nauseous, really. I’ve B”H never seen such action, such abandon, derision, mockery toward HaShem as you described. Totally disgusting, revolting. How can they not be ashamed of themselves, letting their animalistic urges goad them to such public disgrace? Is that a Rav? Is he Jewish? Any decent person should want to get up and shout out and protest. He’s gonna lose his job?!? So what? HaShem’s honor is at stake. Has a Jewish house of prayer been taken over by a bunch of hungry animals?!?
Sorry. Totally disgusting. (I have a whopping headache, I’d rant more if I’d be able to)
May 25, 2014 10:51 pm at 10:51 pm in reply to: For PF to Vicariously Rant Endlessly About the Over-Emphasis of Iyun through PAA #1045678Little FroggieMemberNo, I wanted to hijack that thread!! (now I’ll hijack yours)
Little FroggieMemberPulsingFlower: It’s just that I don’t think Rabbi/Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms Nony Mouse needs all that for some chizuk. People who come here to read and recharge chizuk (me the most) will usually appreciate the kind our resident Rebbitzen (Bubby) wrote. Short and very sweet, heartfelt and uplifting. The long megilla is over-emphasis of iyun! (couldn’t resist that)
And (to hijack this thread ?? ?????) it’s not wasting time working out every k’lomar in Rashi and every v’od in tosfos. It’s giving tremendous honor both to Rashi & Tosfos, and to the Nosain HaTorah Himself. It’s a living practical illustration and demonstration that every word and letter in the Torah is laden with meaning. No waste at all. That’s called true ??????. I’m not sure, but I think one who delves deeply to really understand, in earnest (not for pilpul or honors, or even mind-sharpening exercising) will not lose out in knowing “a bunch” too.
Little FroggieMemberWow! How long did it take you to type that all out? (and how do you know practically all of shas?)
Little FroggieMemberHalacha: Make chumros, ??? ????? ???????
Minhag: A custom, tradition (like second day yom tov)
Chumrah: Beyond the letter of law
Shtus: To be held in sway of mockers (??? ???? ???? ????????)
Little FroggieMemberI believe Belz is doing that, on 38th Street off 13th Avenue. They’re preparing for faster flights to the other side of the globe. If you pass by, you could almost hear the people from China walking (upside down, of course).
Little FroggieMemberOk, Oomis, I got the hint
My stuff aint worth a mint
So maybe I should stop
And the fabulous CR drop
My “input” is not going to print
Little FroggieMember2b
(Hey are you also advertising for Hatzolah dinner, a big B ?)
I don’t post so often, and all my posts are ‘tzum zach’, ‘to the thing’ each and every one of them is a lesson to be studied… priceless jewels and perils of wis-dumb. So for me it’s practically free. The rest, however…
This is classified stuff, it’s included in my investigation…

Little FroggieMemberNo, I’m talking about the things that stroll about in people’s hair, can’t put raid there.
Little FroggieMemberActually we have a breakout of makas kinim in our house 🙁
Little FroggieMemberCareful!!
We are all paying customers. We all have accounts, and are billed monthly, they know each and every poster, his/her address and financial data. If customers don’t pay they get it automatically from the posters’ bank account. So it doesn’t pay to try to hide your identity here! (I think there’s an extra hefty fee for that too.)
Also fees are directly related to content of posts. If your making a Mod crazy, there’s definitely a greater fee, he’s gonna need counselling!! For bickering, acting nasty, hurtful – that’s a fee too, a fine, it could total up a big, big amount. I have you warned!!
Little FroggieMemberHas this place been taken over lately?
Little FroggieMemberMazel Tov to you. May you build a bayis neeman b’yisroel, lead a happy, meaningful, fulfilling life, and always have glad tidings to share!
Little FroggieMember(we’re gona have to sneak in our comments when the mods aren’t looking)
oops… missed this one
Little FroggieMemberSound? I’m very quiet.
Little FroggieMemberI held myself back from writing what I held myself back from (oops)
Little FroggieMemberLittle FroggieMemberA lot of new ideas, new insights, new understanding. Understanding different people, different communities, ideologies. Inspiration I got from several posters, some who have since left. Some who were going through difficult periods in their lives, they offered to share with us some of those situations, and who they dealt with it. Very inspiring. And another thing I learned is that SILENCE IS GOLDEN!!
Little FroggieMemberOish… Is that really what my silly threads all sound like?
Little FroggieMember..then I would ask you
..what’s this thread all about
Little FroggieMemberSo here goes..(um, I forgot what I wanted to ask)
Little FroggieMemberSam:
I seem to recall a different “Yom Tov”, where most poskim were against, but have now…
And there were major poskim of earlier times that condoned it. And the ones in attendance (in this case) are not local butchers… they have Shas and Poskim at their fingertips. They pretty much know right from wrong..
Little FroggieMemberToes are used for finding furniture in the dark..
Little FroggieMember“People” where up the entire night dancing and singing (and playing). That’s what’s “up” with them. And that’s why they probably were not “up” when you were calling.
Just saying, y’know, I’m just a little froggie..
Little FroggieMemberNo need to check my email. I’m right here.
Little FroggieMemberAs to the content (not really my cupatee – every here knows – I usually don’t get mixed into the nitty gritty details of real life)
I’m sure everyone realizes that that is actually the main reason of davening Tefillah – to connect to HaShem. Actually wer’re told that “Tefilah” is related to ?????? which meas connected. I’m sure everyone realizes that the main reasons HaShem brings a tzara upon a person is to get him to Daven and thereby strengthen the connection through davening. That in itself is the greatest benefit. If HaShem decided to answer “Yes”, all to more reason the give ??? ??????. If not, at least he gained through davening. Another connection, another chance at private audience with his Creator. Inestimable benefit, zchus, privilege. And for that we thank HaShem with an ?????.
Little FroggieMemberYes, I’m not going to agree or approve chas v’sholom. You certainly don’t need my (or anyone’s) approval. I Just didn’t want to leave the main page saying “Jew are crazy…BelieveYouMe” so I volunteered to stick in my nose. Let ’em think it’s the rantings of a little froggie.
Little FroggieMemberI’m at the receiving end of their rod (or spear – ‘spear the rod’) by far, more than anyone here.
Sometimes Mods won’t follow your train of thought, or the trail of conversation. So he / she makes a wrong assumption and hastily goes for the <DELETE COMMENT> button. Sometimes a Mod would give it more thought and ‘chap’ the intention. I guess it depends on the Mod at duty, and how much he / she bogged down by the task, how many posts per minute are coming in.
– my opinion
Little FroggieMemberI’ll go for that title. And you youse know it. Most mods, a lot of (most?) posters. As to why they don’t totally obliterate me, I’m scared to contemplate. Maybe there’s some mercy left in their collective heart (all hearts together, just maybe). Maybe it’s one of the eight wonders.
Little FroggieMemberNope. Pretty smart. They don’t want to have to be busy with my replies…
Little FroggieMemberHmm. I’m wondering..
Little FroggieMemberSiDi: Replacing them generally solves the problem.
Little FroggieMemberNow, why in the world would somebody start a silly thread? Isn’t that ridicules? Say… that got me thinking..<WARNING!! – SMOKE, FIRE, EXLPOSION..>
Little FroggieMemberHelp with your laundry… well I usually charge $8.75 an hour, I guess I could go down a bit ..
Anyways, check to see there’s no tissues or papers stuffed in pockets.
Little FroggieMemberHurray!!!!
Now you know what it feels like!!
Little FroggieMemberAre Mods out of commission today?!? Why are my posts not being posted? Maybe they’re trying out my middos?
Little FroggieMemberOomis, I think HaShem is always referred to in the masculine. Even when invoking and beseeching His mercy, we say ???? ?? ?? ????. And I heard the reason to it, it’s not for now.
You wrote that people have to be able to express themselves without fear of retribution, Divine or otherwise. And I think, in my humble opinion, that it’s a grave mistake. Every word spoken (and written as communication) down here gets analysed, scrutinized, weighted and judged. Every single word! It’s certainly not a laughing matter. In peyutim on Yemei Hadin we make mention of this dire concern, we do especial teshuva for improper words, actually there are many ‘Al Chaits’ for sins of improper speech. Dovid Hamelech, in his Tehillim constantly writes about people whose mouth run too fast, speak evil, etc. ??? ????? ????.. Full of it. So are Sefer Mishlei and Koheles. Full of admonition against talking (and writing) without proper thought, attention.
So of course, to brighten up (or make) someone’s day, give a lift, a chuckle, smile, of course, that’s a mitzvah. A great mitzvah. As Gemarah (somewhere) says about two jesters, they’re destined to a portion in Olam Haba. But that’s all about clean, refined, edele speech and language. Not street stuff, nor offending anyone, or anyone’s sensibilities. That’s a direct hit to an aveiva in last week’s parsha, ??? ????. Nor leitzunus, as defined in seforim. To make light of Hashem, his mitzvohs (mitzvah observance), or Gedolim.
I forgot who and what, but there’s a famous story of somebody who either “was there and came back” or in a dream to a friend, and reported that he (she?) can only say that about speech, they’re especially exacting, strict. So no, by Jews speech should definitely not be a free for all. (btw, do you know how much I delete at the last moment before pressing <SEND>?)
About your other assumption about “minhagim”. I don’t know every Minhag. But as a general rule, if it’s something that’s done there’s probably a reason.Probably a good reason. Someone who wants to outsmart, undo, dis-attach should prudently make a thoroughly investigate the complete issue at hand, the origins, history, all pertaining information, before making “””ammends”””.
And even if there’s no reason at all (colored socks, perhaps), maybe, just maybe the mother in question didn’t want her precious daughter going out with an odd-ball. He did stand out, right?
May 14, 2014 4:08 pm at 4:08 pm in reply to: ????? in the former of a ?????. What's it about? #1015030Little FroggieMemberA lot of sefarim write about it. The say it’s a segulah to read it in that form.
Little FroggieMemberTo answer your last question, you wouldn’t believe it, but Hasidic/Orthodox people get Jewish clothing… at a store. (Oh!)
But I’d like to address your first statement, now that you’ve shared it with us. If it is in fact true that your mother is unquestionably Jewish, then you follow, you’re a Jew. And being enrolled in public high school not in a Yeshiva is NOT going to get you closer to Judaism. Neither a Yiddish theater company. But those are your own personal decisions. Not for me to judge.
One more thing, focusing on clothing is by no way a step anywhere, unless it’s a girl/woman doing away with untznius apparel. Anyone can sense an actor. Dressing as a ‘Hasidic/Orthodox people’ will in no way make you one, it may in fact distance you from the very direction you want to go. It’s a mistake many newcomers and welcome backers make, they dress like someone from a different lifestyle, and to the world at large only appear as an actor. It’s my personal opinion that the clothing should fit the person, not vice-versa. Again, it’s my own opinion. And I’m not judging you the very least bit.
Little FroggieMemberPeople?!? Hooz talkin about people?
Little FroggieMemberI’ll try the answer ?? ????? ?????.
Do your friends know who you are? Yes (unfortunately)
Do you? Not necessarily.
Do you even know your screen name? No, I’m impersonating myself.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence that you logged in. Right on the button. I wasn’t meaning to go to my computer. I sat down to it by coincidence, turned it on by coincidence and logged on by coincidence
Little FroggieMemberOh, yeah. We’re sure. None of me met your husband.
Little FroggieMemberThere’s nothing wrong with lightening things up, it’s when one goes overboard and crosses a line, that’s wrong. No, I’m not so sure folks here would categorize me as a serious poster, no, nothing could be further than the truth. It’s just that certain things are a no-no. Putting such a headline is one. Attacking Jews as a group is not really something to be taken lightly. There can be lots of humor, fun besides pointing out and poking fun at certain segments of our holy nation.
