You guys are making one big mishmash between halacha and hashkafa.
Halach is not hashkafa and hashkafa is not not halachah. If rav miller says something regarding where to live etc its his personal hashkafik eitza. Not halacha. Stop putting don people for not agreeing with your hashkafa.October 15, 2017 2:19 pm at 2:19 pm in reply to: Moving to the suburbs to escape the Orthodox ghetto #1380813Takes2-2tangoParticipantIm not quibbling over rabbi miller gadlus. As a mmatter of fact im a big fan of his in mussar . But when it comes to dass tora or halacha he is not the go to person by most people. He gave great personal advice but he was not a posek perse. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Dass torah is a newly manufactured word.
What tav miller was saying/writing was haskafa and mussar. Haskafa and mussar is not halacha. And rabbi miller was not know as a posek hador perse but rather one whp gave mussar and hashkafa.putting mussar and hashkafa in the same sentence is tantamount to kefira.October 15, 2017 9:25 am at 9:25 am in reply to: Moving to the suburbs to escape the Orthodox ghetto #1380613Takes2-2tangoParticipantJoseph.Boro park and williamsburg are the epitome of mingling and gashmius.
Go to cleveland or detroit to s see it first hand.Takes2-2tangoParticipantThe day zlata will meet sivan. Mazel to asachh nachas.
Takes2-2tangoParticipantHow about a name like *adar alef* or *pesach s sheni*
Takes2-2tangoParticipantIts also assur to own a phone or to own a car or a to smoke, to wear a tie etc. They were all introduced by goyim
Takes2-2tangoParticipantI know lots of boys who dance strictly to show off to the girls and women who are watching them from the other side of the mechitza. Should we ban boys from dancing too because their intent in not strictly to be happy with the torah? Is it our business to judge others both women or men what thier intent really is?

Reason i mentioned charadi and not orthodox os because charedi was the key word being usef. But your right , orthodox as a prefix to y yiddish kiet wont help u after 120 when its just lip service. Do what hashem wants from you period. Longer shmoneh esrays because you have to compete with thr guy behind u is worthless to god. You might as well daven regular and do something constructive in thay extra shuckling time.

You quoted the satmar rebbe saying that cholov stam is traif . Can you site that teshuva please. Btw the satmar rebbe also said and wrote that the medina avodah zarra and traif .
, Yet thousand of his chassidim there and use government monies and government resources. So just bear that in mind.September 29, 2017 9:56 am at 9:56 am in reply to: Chumrot in women’s clothing – Help decide! #1373966Takes2-2tangoParticipantWhen you get up to shamayim one day , god will not ask you whether u were charedi or not. Just do what hashem wants and you’ll be fine . Charedi is a made up concept. Hitler ymach shmo didnt care if u wore black, White or purple because a jew is a jew. Just remember extremism is anti tora.
Takes2-2tangoParticipantFor the reason why many kosher foods are more expensive before yomtov. There no heter whatsoever but the rabbis are afraid to speak up for various different reasons.
September 27, 2017 4:01 pm at 4:01 pm in reply to: If your friend eats chalav stam, is it evil… #1372159Takes2-2tangoParticipantIts actually a bigger aveira to think of someone as evil for doing something that you dont approve of but is widely accepted. btw chlov stam is not traif even for those who are makpid. Learn halach before you spew your amaratzus
Takes2-2tangoParticipantI only use ou certified bleach. Years ago they tused to put whey and pitcha in it so we are very makpid even today to only use ou certified
September 27, 2017 9:22 am at 9:22 am in reply to: If your friend eats chalav stam, is it evil… #1371652Takes2-2tangoParticipantIs it evil of you to think of your friend as evil for doing or eating something which you may not agree with?
Takes2-2tangoParticipantKcl (kosher council of lakewood) claims thier fake bug raisins are 100% bugless. Go figure. How exactly does one check small shriveled up raisins is beyond anyones imagination. But they take the achrayis.

Takes2-2tangoParticipantBad advise for not warming up your car in the winter. U maybe saving gas but your damaging engine snd possibly transmission.
Takes2-2tangoParticipantReb yid. If morons can still be using real keys in thier shlissel challah then why not use fake bugs on rosh hashana
Takes2-2tangoParticipantIntroduce him to a group of other introverts & and watch what happens. Theres hope!
