se- absolutely. I have been saying that over and over as have many others here. But it kept falling on deaf ears so thank you for saying it. Don’t kid yourself tho, you may know that to be true, but plenty others here seem unable to parse the two.

I don’t know exactly what your personal issues are or why you have decided to stalk me but I asked you to give me an example of some things I have said that bother you and you wouldn’t or couldn’t do it. So I’m asking you to either explain your problem, or just bug off. Your very first post on this forum was to insult me and you have not stopped. Either have an adult conversation about it, or grow up.

Many Americans get their news and opinion exclusively from media that they are comfortable with and when that media makes them uncomfortable, they just move on to the next.

I couldn’t agree with you more on this. Across all topics.

ABA_S – another well stated post. I admire that. And this last post points out a huge problem. I don’t really care who ends up president because I know it was all Hashem’s doing and we will always be in His hands regardless of which puppet is attached to His strings.

But after all the vile names I have been called by his FRUM supporters just in this forum, and how uncomfortable I was made to feel in the workplace, it was a very hostile environment there, And the way his peace loving fans seem to have converted from nasty and venomous to gloating with no let up of sick name calling (cult is the newest that actually just began *post* election thanks to 2 friends) I am wondering how they will ever embrace those who didn’t think like them.

How will that administration guide us when we cannot even have a conversation about pancakes without someone bringing up something they hate about Trump? It is going to be very difficult, and while I am happy to let Hashem place whomever He knows to be right at my helm, I don’t see it possible to rebuild any kind of trust among those government officials who spat on me, or his supporters who continue to do so because they cannot allow me my own political or personal opinion on a candidate. (Why do you care anyway what I think of him? Am I insulting your mom?)

It has been a sad and depressing life lesson in what intelligent humans are capable of becoming given the appropriate atmosphere and support. Even this expression of the state of things will somehow become about trump and his golf game, coronavirus victims or me being a brainless imbecile for stepping back and looking at where humanity stands at the moment.
Your point was well stated and I anxiously await the rest of the story.

Which country has a president elect in front of cameras 24 hours a day? Definitely not ours! Don’t you think you’re overdoing it a bit? He just upped his visibility from 1 hour a week to several times, maybe, a day (including the absolutely not social distanced appearance that we’re all pretending didn’t happen…
    24 hours indeed.

ENS – thank you for yet another rendition of posts I wrote to other people reworded and posted to me.
    Let’s try this-
Give me a lis, spare the insults, condescension and rheteric, just a list of points I may be wrong on and i will reevaluate.
When you can’t, don’t hide it by saying im not worth your time. I have repeatedly asked people to curb their presentation regardless of their views, but you accuse me of being one sided.

List please. Complete or incomplete, just straight forward statements so i can redo them

    Thanks so much.

Hello mr sunshine – so far all you’ve done is taken different comments I’ve made to other posters that obviously rubbed you the wrong way, and directed them at me, despite them not fitting in to the conversation. This just reinforces the point that you, or your former screenname didn’t like my comments and figure this would somehow give me a “taste of my own medicine”.

Problem is, I was directing them at people as a response to things they said, you are just reprinting them even tho they are out of place. Maybe just turn your focus elsewhere, there are so many other fun people to connect with in a productive conversational format that will enjoy your upbeat attitude and the soft spoken way about you.

Charlie – i assume you know more about the stats than i ever will. Do you know if the percentage of positive cases that end up seriously ill has changed in this fall surge, or the percentage of critically ill who recover? Im guessing, thru anecdotal incidents that less get critically ill, and more who are critical come home. I feel like people throw around numbers without attention to when they were published so i thought I’d ask.

Ens- that’s a good one, you are really lots of fun! So you said “anyone who supports trump here hates democracy” with not a shred of evidence. But i, who support trump and don’t hate democracy, need to file a signed affidavit with that statement.

My take is that you don’t like being wrong so when someone opposes you you throw a hissy fit discounting their claim with enough false self importance to prevent anyone from wanting to argue with you. Sounds more trump-like than anything I’ve said.

Oh, and my proof? – all your posts.

    first of all, HI!!!
It’s really great to hear things are going well for you. I have no doubt that there are many who would really be interested in hearing what you have to say. From my own personal point of view, if your blog would be conveying the message that girls should not stay home, that the BY lifestyle needs a revamp or that progressive lifestyles are the only way to feel fulfilled then PLEASE DON’T blog! It would be so refreshing and wonderful to hear someone in your shoes speak about maintaining boundaries and values even in an MD program. How you have learned to keep your family as your number one priority and what challenges you met and overcame. I just think there is so much pressure to conform right now, and so many stay at home moms are belittled and made to feel useless by peers (it still hurts to think of it), as well as too many people being given the false message that children are an obstacle to fulfillment. If someone could take us through their story, without needing to disparge anyone elses choices, it could be unique and inspiring.

Good luck to you and I wish you success in both full time jobs!!

Since you are new here let me prepa=e you for what happens next. Here in the CR, if you say there has been voter fraud than you are a conspiracy theorist who blindly follows fox news. But if you say that there was absolutely no fraud and biden, who couldn’t scrape 10 people together for a rally, won by a landslide, than you have some sort of access to only true and honest reporting and won’t consider you may also be following news blindly. So expect verbal onslaught of trash and sharp objects. Similar to what they’re doing on the streets.

Do you really believe that because biden won it was all done legally? I find it hard to believe that we wouldn’t have had 4 more years of pretending trump stole the election (in addition to the last 4).

I was prepared to accept a biden win if it happened but i don’t get the infantile smugness in thinking it validates all the things that aren’t okay about his party and things they’ve done. Im less disturbed by his win than by the blind following of him.

Unfortunately, 60m of us will get what you paid for. Good luck to israel, the jews, and America.

I am insist on seat belts for my passengers, and for my children when they are in other people’s cars. Always. My beef to these masks or die people is not about the masks, it’s about the way they treat other people who aren’t doing what they think needs to be done. Or rather who aren’t doing what should be done, to the extent that they feel it should be carried out. When my neighbor started driving my child to school and I found out they don’t buckle in their 5 year old I had a choice to pull my kid out of carpool quietly, or to tell my children that this neighbor is a murderer and I don’t want to put my child in danger as he has put his own children. I consider the first choice to be what God wants from us. I’m asking these people to do the same with the difficult people in their lives.

When I refer to “Corona Kofrim” I refer to people who actively deny that COVID-19 is an actual issue. Those people who claim it’s “just a flu” or something similar and refuse to do anything to mitigate any risk or damages that they may cause, no matter how small

    Got it. Thanks for explaining

It actually is pretty close to 95%.

I wish it was, less people would be getting sick. But unfortunately it’s not.

How did the exceptions that you know about catch it?

They weren’t exceptions. This is the reality of the virus.

    Here you are…

“the Corona Kofrim who don’t care about people getting sick and dying.”

“You’re acting as if something that is 95% effective isn’t effective at all because of that 5%.”

Because it’s not 95%. I wish it was but it’s not.

    Hi mr emes!!
Thanks for the laugh! I brought up clinton “again”? See, it’s called responding. You commented on my bringing up Clinton, I explained why i did, and then you ponder my bringing it up “again”. (Woops! Just did it again!)
Second – i don’t listen to radio or read/watch non jewish news so… I guess this emes thing isn’t working out too well for ya.

No comment on the rest, had to stop reading to respond. And asuming it was trash talk I’m in no rush to revisit. I guess I’ll just have to figure out which former poster loves me enough to have actually made a new account just to put me down.

Yserbius – I’m sorry you are frustrated for having to repeat yourself but why are you insisting you have to be taken at your word. I find it equally frustrating to keep hearing you go on with stats that are NOT corroborated by everyone. Especially when you disgustingly thrown in that anyone who doesn’t think like you doesn’t care if they kill people.

Much of what you are saying is true. And i went back to check on some of the points just to be sure. While much is true, this:

In almost every case where someone was careful and got infected, they received the virus from someone who was not.

is just not true. I read it, i have FIRST HAND observation and third hand stories. It’s false. So please continue advocating for masks, please do. But please, STOP embellishing the facts with untruths like that.
