I agree, but I think you are wrong to blame it on the CR, it is a reflection of what the social media world has done to our inability to communicate effectively. The CR is one of the few moderated sites and if this is the approved stuff, well, it’s a sad reflection on what is probably being submitted.

I also find it so sad to see the skepticism in our leaders, the arguing done with their words and messages. Our olam has become so used to aggressive and anonymous opposition to anything they see that we often forget to take note of who we are replying to before we press that button. I know I have posted about this decline and I think others have as well. It is the ‘new way’ to ‘make yourself heard’.

huju – to directly respond to your op question, no. Assuming you are implying that you would want to know who a president will pardon before you decide to re-elect them (I can’t understand how else your question can be understood), this would only be relevant to first term presidents, and you already have 4 years of their office to make determination of whether or not to vote for them so why would knowing their pardons before elections matter? A second term pres isn’t up for reelection and a candidate isn’t making pardons.

Always Ask – Yes! Yes, yes! This has been such a major frustration of mine. (And where the TDS concept was born from). After a while the illogical agression became enough to discourage me from being able to participate even passively, but i have found in these last few weeks that it seems to have dissolved the respect I always carried for them in other areas. I agree with coffee, they don’t know what they’re missing. And i was actually going to give advice based on lessons learned. I don’t know you at all so please accept this as random and anonymous, i guess.

I think it is really important to know whete you are at hashkofically and where you are going, and see if it matches what you ate looking for. For example, there are guys names given to me with the descriptor that they are serious, solid hashkofos, etc and then a google search turns up an old facebook page or instagram account that should have been wiped clean long ago if no longer relevant, or he should have bern a bit more honest about where he is holding.

If i see a facebook page (I’m already red flagging but…) with 100 friends who all have odd haircuts, bad language, and half are girls it’s obviously not what we’re looking for. (I was told it was an old account from a college program 🙄) But was that a case of a mismatch, poor media hygiene, or someone not knowing where they themsrlves are going.

In closing- i am NOT saying the above means you aren’t a quality guy, it means this was a poorly made match and both sides would have better hatzlacha with different prospects.

RSR – i firmly believe you are welcome to your opinions of trump and thoughts/fantasies/nightmares about everything he does, but i for one am really tired of being included in these vile spewings. Yserbius – it seems to me that you have so much confidence in your viewpoint that there really is no room for anyone else. Our legitimate concerns become imagined, physical strughles become psychological inadequacy and serious conversations with prominant doctors become unknown searches online. I appreciate your having stepped back a bit to hear us out (each separately) but i don’t hear a lot of flexibility. I do feel bad that it is difficult for you to make room for other realities but i appreciate that you are being sincere in your position. I hoped to open your eyes to a wider reality. I failed.
