“Descriptions such as moron, nitwit, crazy, fool, jerk, deranged and worse have been commonplace on this site for years before I began posting two months ago. You may want to take this point up with those who made this behavior commonplace.”
Interesting point. But I have been here for years and there is a huge difference between adding one of those words into a sentence and the spewing you do. I think the level of yours and crazyk’s posts are much less common and thankfully so. They don’t exactly make any points or give the impression of a thoughtfull conversation. If you really do have a point to make you may want to try a different tack. Or don’t.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantHere’s the saddest result of the feminist, modern movement. It isn’t about demanding that women should get respect (as if they didn’t have any), it has reached a pathetic level that if you imply a woman respects her husband you are being blasphemous.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantyou are so transparant.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantDoes anyone have paper and pen and a calculator? I am really curious but don’t have time to do the research. How many recent threads are there about trump and how many times does Trump get inserted into threads that have nothing to do with him? – and of that number, what percentage are from people who supported trump as president? Im hypothesising that the haters just can’t let go.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Trump is a case study in everything the Torah tells us NOT to be and do.”
THIS was your comment. Consider who you look to as a Torah leader, your comment is meaningless

🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWhy is anti Putin’s behavior = pro ukraine? spin much?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Is everything I post about me?”
I don’t know, is it? I hadnt thought so
“Do you always completely ignore content to attack the writer?
This is beneath you.”
Yes, 90% of the time I do, although attack is not my intention. If someone yells or berates people for doing something (ie parroting talking points) then I will probably jump in when they decide to do the same thing themselves. I also do it when I think people are being hurtful, putting down people for personal things, insulting Torah institutions or Authentically Jewish institutions/products/lifestyles. Mostly tho it’s when they are hypocritically degrading/yelling/tantruming at people for something and then turn around and do it themselves. The content usually does not interest me as much as the interpersonal interactions and overall fidelity does.
“I will not spend another post discussion about myself.
I don’t even listen to radio.”
great. and I don’t think i wanted to talk about you at all. I just saw you as someone who liked to have a higher quality conversation as opposed to rhetoric so I stupidly asked for your clarification of a point. Not the first time I’ve been wrong, and won’t be the last.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Putin knows he has the republicans on his side.
He can do anything he wants and they will blame it on Biden.
He can invade another country, kill tens of thousands of people, cause millions of innocent civilians into poverty and into becoming refugees, – and republicans will not say a word about how big a RASHA MERUSHA he is and that he is the cause of all this.
Republicans are not on America’s side.”Jackk – this was exactly what was said on some progressive news show this am. Really? You’ve started parroting progressive radio? How beneath you.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI never wonder what makes irritable people open up nasty threads to spew whatever bugs them at that moment. But ya gotta wonder about someone who feels the need to dig up a 14 year old thread to do so.

February 21, 2022 6:23 pm at 6:23 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2062675🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI was certainly looking for an unbiased opinion. Once you said you read only the parts you needed for fact checking fox News I realized that request was moot. I did, however, find someone who read it who explained what it actually said,, and recommended you read it so that you yourself would have the bigger picture as well.
“which was the source of Trump claiming that he was spied upon.”
Thank you for rewording to more accurately reflect the truth. And that doesn’t mean I’m on trumps side, it means I like accuracy.
As far as what I care about? I like facts. I like court documents, I like trial transcripts. When there are documents to be read, I try to read them. But cat fights? No thanks.
And regarding sara Carter versus the disgusting lies about Brian siknik…I can’t believe you even brought it up. You slam someone for false reporting and a retraction. When there has yet to be a retraction, public apology, acknowledgement of the lies by the white house or any of those reporters. Seriously. Do you not get it? Do you really think that if you hate Trump you also have to support the lies about deaths that weren’t verified? What shaichus? Why can’t you be in charge of your own loyalties?? Don’t you see this is just a three ring circus posing as politics and intelligent people can’t seem to find their way out.

Just wait for all the texts and information that will come out from the January 6th committee showing Fox news hosts were speaking with Trump before and during the attack on the capitol.”
sorry to disappoint but I am not sure why you think I would even care. I have not been following any of this anymore (unless something specific sparks my interest and I will ask it be explained/clarified). It has become such an embarrassing joke and there is nothing to follow. If you think the jan 6th committee sounds any less unhinged or insane than trump than you have been sucked in either too far or for too long. News doesn’t exist anymore. It’s all politics and garbage just insulting our intelligence. Both sides have turned into cults and the biden administration has destroyed so much that I not only can’t make ends meet anymore, but I can’t believe so many intelligent people are stupid enough to defend him.
Please, enjoy the news, enjoy the reports and cheer your team on in their victories, but all I wanted was a clean unbiased opinion on a stupid document and look what got shoved at me instead.
No offense intended.February 21, 2022 2:32 pm at 2:32 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2062583🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk –
1) I didn’t read or listen to fox news
2) i never heard anyone say Hilary spied on trump. I don’t think you did either although you claim it is being said.
3)You made claims about people believing news reports instead of checking the source. I asked you to explain the source, you responded by quoting news reports, complaining about tucker, fox etc (who I don’t remember bring up) and claiming you did not read the whole report I read the part of the filing where Fox news built it’s claim of spying from. Not the whole thing.4)All ive been doing is asking you if you are telling people not to buy in to the media even tho youre are doing it yourself, or if you actually read first hand and came to your own conclusions. Feel free to peruse the above thread for everything you wrote in response – short of an answer to my question. You are hoping to discuss trump instead. I am hoping you will either admit you buy in to your media reports while asking others not to, or desist from doing so.
I am always hoping for and looking for someone who actually gets to the bottom of things and makes their own opinions. Not just parroting msm or reading fox news cover to cover so they can decide what didn’t happen.
February 21, 2022 12:07 pm at 12:07 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2062543🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk – You said,”The Durham report does not say that the Clinton campaign spied on spied on Donald Trump, both as a candidate and as president.
The court filing also definitely does not say that the Clinton campaign hired tech executives to “infiltrate” Trump Tower and White House servers in an attempt to create a narrative linking Trump to Russia.
In fact the word infiltrate is not found in the report at all.”I then asked, “So jackk, what does it say? I was very curious to hear a clarification cuz it seems nobody is responding.”
to which you responded, “The Durham court filing is publicly available and everyone can read it.
It is a little complicated to actually explain since it has to do with DNS and other esoteric IT acronyms.
It also about only one person – Mr. Sussman.
But it has nothing to do with spying or infiltration.”You implied you were using your personal knowledge, NOT mainstream media, to make those claims. Now you admit you didn’t. And on top of that you want ME to tell you what it says so you can respond with what you read online.
Again – infomation you read from your news sources is no more valid than a fox news report or a coworkers blabbering. Either read the docs and tell us what you saw, or don’t claim to know more than someone else who also watches news clips. That’s all I said, and I think i was pretty straightforward. Honestly, I didn’t expect that you would have presented information you didn’t really know, had I known I wouldn’t have bothered with even asking for clarification.
February 21, 2022 9:11 am at 9:11 am in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2062391🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk – you used the cnn article to refute the fox article. I told you your CNN article was not on point and if you really were interested in unbiased, or at least accurate info you should read the documents yourself (which was actually your original advice to me. ). Now you say I should go read it and bring you talking points so that you can relay to me how the main stream media teitched up those points.
I said if you care about what really is in there, read it. If you don’t want to take your own advice, then don’t. But don’t pretend you did, and don’t pretend that by googling the refutations you will have facts. Just politely say, “I don’t actually have enough information to argue, just what heard from msm sources”February 20, 2022 10:34 pm at 10:34 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2062281🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk- i apologize for misreading your response.
I did go to the document you mentioned and it doesn’t seem to match your previous post. (That post does closely match one of the msm articles on it however, but not the court docs.) For the sake of not following either side blindly, you may want to read the documents for yourself.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantand then there’s aaq who can’t pass up an opportunity to accuse frum jews of financial fraud. Thank you for your consistency.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantThat is such a great story! Thanks for sharing.
February 15, 2022 6:25 pm at 6:25 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2060791🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantJackk – umm, that wasn’t my question at all. You said fox News distorted the facts contained in the court docs which are easily found online. I asked if you know that because you read them, or are you just going with what a different news site told you? Which, as I’m trying to point out, would be no more reliable.
Your post was written giving the impression that you know fox distorted the contents because you read it yourself. So I was kinda wondering, did you read it yourself?February 15, 2022 2:14 pm at 2:14 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2060697🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantto me the funniest part is that you would believe any one news source over another as if they aren’t all in the same business.
February 15, 2022 12:57 pm at 12:57 pm in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2060685🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantjackk – thank you for responding. I will try to access the court filing. Just curious, since I haven’t checked any news sites, did you read this and are speaking from what you saw, or are you giving over what you read on one of your more preferred sites?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant😄 thank you Reb E for demonstrating what most of us always said, you can’t come up with a single reason and its all about trump.
February 15, 2022 8:47 am at 8:47 am in reply to: Should YWN, stop copy and pasting Reuters and AP? #2060541🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantSo jackk, what does it say? I was very curious to hear a clarification cuz it seems nobody is responding.
And what does the rest of your post have to do with anything. Kinda random to throw it in. I hope it wasn’t one of those whatabouts, I never would expect that from you, you seem too knowledgeable to have to resort to that.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAAQ – i used to assume you were spouting valid information but only your impressions and interpretations were contrived. Now that I see your last two posts I realize it is all just kinda whatever you strung together. And the best parts are when you want to know what medical authority directed us and we said our doctors, you turn around and complain that nobody is asking any shailas for a psak. It is nice that you know a lot of text and can insert so much of it in every post, but it is very disheartening when you attach your own meanings and interpretations to them.
“I don’t plan to discuss details of organizer motivation, as well as others.”
that is exactly what you did. go read your post
” I just brought a minor detail that struck me as totally oblivious – you are told of the rules, it would take 15 minutes to comply, and you refuse. ”
minor detail? It was the focal point of your post. and assuming you are saying “you” in the general sense, what are you talking about. Refuse what? What takes 15 minutes, getting a vaccine? What are you talking about?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantYou don’t need to weigh the risks against each other. According to the pediatric infectious disease journal article the studies out there trying to prove long covid in kids is a thing are not very impressive. And to try to dig something random up becuase you don’t want to imply or admit you might actually be wrong about the damage the masks are doing is just sad.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“As you are saying, hopefully this is water under the bridge and things are getting better now.” As I was saying? I was saying its long term damage. Why do you rephrase my words to the exact opposite? Is this that denial thing of yours, trolling or you just don’t really listen? I said long term damage, its far from water under the bridge and nothing has changed so how could it be getting better?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAvram – agreed. Everyone who was a health risk knew that the vaccine did not do anything to prevent transmission and I don’t believe for a second that someone with health concerns would have had any type of group simcha anywhere. I will have to assume this is another one of those edited versions of a story that is revamped in the hopes of either spreading ill will or making a point.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Omicron is almost as severe to a non-immune person as the original Wuhan,”
…said no one ever🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantNone of what you write is familiar to me. I’ve heard nor read nothing of the sort. But I hear now where you are coming from.
I will just say that, with me not disagreeing with your reasoning, we are further down the road now to where we cannot continue to treat covid as if every unmasked face is a murder. The stats don’t agree with that view. But you are correct that we need to be conscientious about who we cross paths with because it isn’t over.
Good shabbos🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Are you under the impression the omicron pandemic of today is the same in regards to danger and risk of death as the 2020 coronovirus? This is a yes or no question.”
crickets
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantgot it. thanks for clarifying and i am sorry you have to deal with that
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantjackk – that’s a somewhat odd question. Of course I care about the deaths. And I care about the people killed by child abusers and cancer and by drunk drivers. I insisted my kids sat in car seats and buckled up even when it made me unpopular among other parents (ie “no, I can’t drive your child without a booster seat”). I don’t give them medication that was not prescribed to them (ie. “i’m sure it’s strep, just use the antibiotic left over from the other kid”) serve alcohol to minors, let strangers spend time alone with my kids etc. I care. And when I can do something to change it, I try to do so.
Right now I work in a public school with strict covid prevention guidelines. 3 fathers have died since september. It is tragic. You have decided they have no underlying conditions but I don’t know that. I do know, however, that the kids who are masked and sitting behind screens ETC have spread omicron to each other like wildfire. For three weeks, beginning a week after thanksgiving, we had HUGE numbers of absences. One week the district had more absences than they will ever admit in writing. Three weeks later…It’s gone. we are not seeing anymore spreading or infections or absences. So what did I walk away with? The preventions did not help, the herd immunity worked, over 99% of the infections were mild to asymptomatic, and the damage that these kids continue to suffer from the mask wearing is overloading the special ed team with serious long term damage.Does that mean I don’t care? No. It means that I am watching long term suffering (that you and other won’t even acknowledge) of too many children that is being perpetuated in order to “sheild” these children from not-very-real dangers. If parents were found to be inflicting these types of damage on their kids, the authorities would have been called. And I mean that. There is serious developmental, academic, social and emotional damage here. Do you care?

Hashem called us (the jews) the am segula and kadosh and you didn’t realize a non jew was an exemption?
If only you applied your unrelenting insistence on legitimacy and respected authority for religion in the way you do it for covid…
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantGH – thank you. Agreed. I’m surprised by your closing comment since, as evidenced above, there is no shortage of a need to move on by people like aaq either. But thank you still.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant” I think psychologists call this “crystallization” – early on information trumps on the further one. ”
ah, so I guess this is you offering a partial explanation for your comments? Ok, that helps a bit. You aren’t able to move on from the original march 2020 situation regarding the danger of covid and the potency. You aren’t able to move on from the terminality of it even tho the science has moved on from that? I can definitely hear that.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Syag, I saw some ”
here’s an illustration of this conversation as it keeps going around and around and around (oddly enough, I even just said this two posts up. hmmm)
You: I wonder why people use umbrellas
Me among others: to keep their clothes dry
You: I keep asking this question and never get any responses
Me among others: to keep their clothes dry
You: It just amazes me that I can keep asking this question over and over and not get any responses at all
Me among others: Several of us answered you. You just refuse to acknowledge responses you don’t like
You: see? Nobody responded. So puzzling.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant” For me, the mass denial after witnessing bubbies, zeidies, and hoshive Rabbonim dying, is mind-boggling.”
Your replies are so bizarre. How can someone who spends every waking moment tallying the dead not have noticed that the calendar pages turned. Let’s pretend I can ask you a straight question and you will answer it. Are you under the impression the omicron pandemic of today is the same in regards to danger and risk of death as the 2020 coronovirus? This is a yes or no question.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI don’t know anyone in real life who refused to mask, but many who believed, with cause, that it was pointless and not supported by science unless it was a properly fitting kn95 worn only a few times and then replaced. And not put down on any surfaces that were touched by people. This wasn’t happening. The usefulness of masking wasn’t referring to the masking most of the population were doing.
Do I know a mainstream source? I will try to locate them. But you are missing the point. My doctor is my authority. If my doctor advises me to do X, why do I need to find you a cnn contributor who agrees? Our job is to follow the science, not the politics. I have never gone to fauci before, why would I chose his advice over my own trusted doctor’s?
As much as you don’t understand the mask resistance, I agree. I cannot fathom being discredited when I say I was following doctor’s advice. Who are you to say I wasn’t? Who are you to turn a deaf ear to my explanation (as above with your request for a famous doctor)? Why is your obstinance and denial any less outrageous, childish or wrong?
P.s. even tho I know how useless the masks are and am not so quick to forgive or forget the abuse others heaped on fellow jews who didn’tlike them, I always wore masks when needed or when around anxiety ridden friends. And I never treated them for wanting it, with the disrespect that I was given for hating it.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“most doctors, who know science a little more than you do, say that masks save lives. since that is a fac”
Outright lie. Vaccines save lives (also cost some but that’s seperate) but the experts have admitted masks don’t. And why you still think someone today will “probably die” if you don’t wear one defies logic. Not even the cdc agrees with you.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Are people really so childish that they need to resist any direction from authority figures and experts?”
This is the problem. This question gets asked over and over and answered repeatedly that many have been getting this information from doctors and experts but then it goes in one ear and out the other. Whats childish (at best) is people who can’t bring themselves to accept that there are different professional opinions, that it isn’t about defiance, and that your opinion may not be the only one out there. So you end up with these dumb comments asking as if they have never actually heard anyone but fauci speak. GROW UP
