🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant
If you move it over about 500 miles west I’ll be happy to rent out a daled amos underneath for me and my billy goats.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“If your saying that Pfizer stood to gain by the political outcome, I agree with the premise.”
This.
“But I have no imagination of what the benefits could possibly be. ”
can’t speak for things that aren’t shared but imagine support, monetary and legal, from people who share many lines of support and income as you. I had a long talk with some pharmacy friends about some of this but I haven’t personally checked up on the theory with anyone at pfizer.
Also, wasn’t Trump trying to squash pharmaceutical price gauging?🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantYou are overlooking Pfizer being it’s own political personality. Follow the money/support
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanthuju – I am pretty sure he was trying to point out the stupidity of the OP. That he was pointing out that complaining about something without having a clue about it is ignorant.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantand as all good trolls, the OP disappears into the sunset
Or sometimes they sign back in but with the wrong user name
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantLet the sock puppeting begin —
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantSounds like your attempt to stir up controversy during sefira fell flat…
B”H🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantoy, forgot to say refuah shlaima!
What’s wrong with a bug emoji? or is it code for something more sinister?🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantseems you both have been bitten by the “I have no idea but I will comment anyway” bug.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantyes, when we discuss matters that you do not have a reference for we end up talking past each other. It might help to understand that you lack a reference and try hearing what is being said. It’s called learning another persons perspective. Or, there is always the option of assuming you’re just right and moving on…. happy trails
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAre you for real? A few dollars “saved? I’m talking about not having a few dollars. Your car won’t suffer from being fed when it nears empty. And money you don’t have to spend, isn’t money “saved”. Wow, you have a lot to be thankful for in your life. Ignorance appears to be bliss – unless you use it to put others down.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI said some people let their tanks run near empty because they don’t have money. You said that I must not understand poor people because they don’t buy in bulk.
Do you just type with your eyes closed?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantOnce again – misquote someone, pretend they said something they didn’t and disappear when asked to back it up. More than a pattern, a lifestyle perhaps? Just makes me wonder how many other people you quote never said those things either.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantyou make no sense. Im the one who pointed that out to GH who said let them eat cake. I had even written and erased that to her. Nothing in my post said poor people buy in bulk. I said not everyone can afford to buy gas before they absolutely need it. where do you see me saying they buy in bulk?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantSeems that B’H you are doing ok and this is just a theoretical thing for you.
from where do you come up with that? from what does it “seem” that way>
May 4, 2022 5:54 pm at 5:54 pm in reply to: Should we try to encourage Mashichists and Elokists to return to the fold? #2083065🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI’m surprised by your confusion
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantGH – wow, thanks for clarifying that if gas in NY gas prices are 4.12 a gallon he can’t be paying more than that. Silly me.
Oh, and about your nitwit comment, guess your too entitled to be aware that some people, even with college degrees, don’t have enough money to avoid that happening sometimes. Nitwit indeed.May 4, 2022 5:10 pm at 5:10 pm in reply to: Should we try to encourage Mashichists and Elokists to return to the fold? #2083029🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAnd when people learn it, it is like he is active, present, “ki heim chayenu”.
yes, he is. but you have to stop pretending that what a neshama does and finds is equal to requesting that neshama to do so.
At most we ask neshamos to bring our tefillos and bakashos to the Eibeshter so that HE should have nachas. you are omitting that crucial ingredient that makes all the difference.May 4, 2022 5:09 pm at 5:09 pm in reply to: Should we try to encourage Mashichists and Elokists to return to the fold? #2083027🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“the rebbe should look down and we should find favor before him”
And you don’t think rav chaim is looking down and finding favor in all of the bnei torah? Do you not think so?
again, a distortion of someones words. Of course Rav Chaim zt”l is looking down on us. That does not even remotely connect to us asking that he should look down so we should find favor before him. Not at all. And you will never hear it said.
May 4, 2022 5:09 pm at 5:09 pm in reply to: Should we try to encourage Mashichists and Elokists to return to the fold? #2083025🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Is the song about Mamma Rochel also Avoda Zara? ”
HaLevi – Rochel Imainu was buried there in order to cry for us. Asking her to do so is not the same. I believe you knew that but were hoping to make a parallel
May 4, 2022 5:09 pm at 5:09 pm in reply to: Should we try to encourage Mashichists and Elokists to return to the fold? #2083024🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanthe said “I’ve learned chasidishe seforim for over a decade, including tanya.”
you responded “If you think you understand the chassidishe velt because you learned a little chassidishe seforim’
that’s called twisting someones words. more commonly known as sheker
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWhy exactly is it so hard to believe he is paying $5 a gallon?
I’m paying 4.89 or more depending on the day.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantconsidering you only signed up 2 months ago that would be interesting.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantKuvult – I’m sorry, you seem to have taken my support and run with it far past the boundaries. My comment is that they have absolutely no idea what you are describing because they have no reference for it. I also commented that you were naive in thinking that secular kids fill their time with the same things frum kids do (for sure overlap, but not as a whole)
But once you start with the racism – giving aliyos to all the fraudsters – it is obvious you aren’t who you were trying to make yourself out to be. I used to use that party line too, and the aliyos given to jailed individuals sickens me still, but you have decided to go the antisemetic “this is who your contemporaries are” instead of accepting that it isn’t a community characteristic. And I backed you when you said that a long time ago there were less differences and a place to make room in each others lives because of the gains. But you wrongly have stretched that into ‘goyim are no different and my kids can immerse themselves in their lives without consequence and thinking otherwise is bigotry”. Unfortunately that isn’t true. And I would be shocked if you even thought it was.
you started off able to talk to someone who valued Torah and the people it was given to. Respecting other Jews does not have to include meeting them where they are at.
With all that, I still don’t condone the black and whiteness that gets portrayed by people who have already mentioned they are not parents and are talking speculatively.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantKuvult – not agreeing with or opposing your global points but I work in public schools and your assumptions of secular households are very naive
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Which house is safer for kids?”
This is one of those silly questions. If I don’t want my kid influenced by bad behavior, who cares how it ranks, it’s still a no go.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWhich is not to say I agree with all your points.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantKuvult – My useless advice, ignore them. They have no concept of what you are trying to say (as evidenced by their responses). They will get ruder (as you see above), and probably the posts will because more explicit in delineating the evils of everyone who isn’t them. You are speaking outside of their purview.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantIt is always entertaining to watch you put down people who don’t idolize those Rabbaim you have put on a pedastal (primarily because they have a foot in the secular world) while simultaneously degrading, discounting and pointing fingers at people who choose to live a more restricted lifestyle (yes, save your breath. I know you don’t really say anything derogatory. Some of your best friends wear black hats. And you even see a kollel out your window)
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantcommonsaychel – why do you go in to threads of no interest to you just to yell at people?
Sury- not everyone seeks or enjoys his preferred topics. Welcome and ignore those posts.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantbased on the behaviors.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantHashem commanded us to judge others lkaf zchus. (conveniently omitted to elicit angry responses as is the way of trolls everywhere)
Judge behavior, some think you shouldn’t but they are incorrect. Judge behavior, not people.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWolf – I thought this was such a great topic and I am so glad you brought it up.
I have a few responses but my first is that I always thought that if someone knew the truth, they would follow it. That if someone knew they were doing something wrong and you told them how it was wrong, they would run to fix it. That people who did hurtful or mean things just didn’t know how they came across but if they knew the truth – bam – they would reform instantly because why wouldn’t everyone want to do what is right?Boy was I wrong. Tough lesson learned the hard way.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantthere is a simple peshat here too: someone who was able to get up daily, keep tahora, clean the aron, would be also able to keep a 9-5 job, no just as a cleaner but in another professions.
yes. and your wife who got up in the middle of the night to feed and clean and love your kids, would also be able to stay up nights to work in a kennel and feed and clean the abandoned dogs there, not just as a cleaner but as a humanitarian!
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipanthow can one ask Hashem to help you if he is not trying himself? […] I believe, one can not daven for things he did not try getting himself. For example, if one sits at home hungry and does not bother to go to the store (or even to the fridge) and asks Hashem to help, and then dies from hunger – can we say that Hashem abandoned him or do we say that Hashem provided him with a full fridge?
The most pathetic thing is your assumption/obssession that anyone who learns all day fits your above description. You tout it over and over even when told you are grossly misunderstanding. How do you seriously equate not going to college or working in the professional world with dying of hunger instead of opening the fridge?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantjackk – i kinda doubt you read my posts anymore but just in case …
Thank you for the above post. I would never have read your posts that way but will try much harder to apply that understanding. I remember you saying something shorter along those lines and I really respected you for it, but I will try to have a different perspective.April 27, 2022 2:32 pm at 2:32 pm in reply to: The Longest Seder ContestHow Late Will Your Seder End? #2080461🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
April 27, 2022 12:51 pm at 12:51 pm in reply to: The Longest Seder ContestHow Late Will Your Seder End? #2080381🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantEveryone please share what time your Seder ended this year.
why?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantjackk – i think you posted that in the wrong thread
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAnd vice versa
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantAnd I’m saying that I know you think that, but I disagree. The dem narrative of what Republicans are thinking is about as authentic as my view of kollel life was when I was in bnei akiva.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI hear you. I am saying that they will not admit to it. I have NEVER heard anyone but you say that. Listen to the crazy things people are writing. They don’t say that some things are a problem but it’s still wonderful. They don’t even ignore the problems and say it’s still wonderful. They actually list the problems as accomplishments, pretend things never were said or happened etc. I am not here to call out what is fake and what is not, my claim is that dems are NOT listing any disappointments. Zero. They are still living in trumps head, thinking that if they acknowledge any of the real damage, someone may put donald back in office. So they don’t budge. Just listen to the crazy way they spew full sentences of insults towards someone who isn’t even in office anymore anytime Biden is called out. It’s not normal.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantI couldn’t eat quinoa on pesach this year cuz I left it in the car. But I did make fake bagels from Quinoa flour. If anyone wants to make the argument that quinoa should not be okay because of the flour, taste my bagels first.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantGH – regarding your serious note:
*No, he is not central to anything
*No, dems seem to be, once again, revolving their life and moral standards around keeping trump out of office the wrong way since they have no faith they can do it the right way. But I don’t see any dems who post here or otherwhere having a very accurate or real read of what we are thinking.
*I do NOT want trump back in office, but there are few things worse than having biden continue. You think trump would be an existential threat to our democracy… hmm. so is this democracy now? As much as I cannot afford to go to work (gas and car prices) and I cannot afford not to (everything else prices) but the media cancelations and manipulations/censorship all things biden = good stuff scares me the most. (Please don’t tell me that you don’t think that’s real)
* you say “while biden is clearly a disappointment to many of us” fun fact- I have heard exactly nobody besides you admit that. Trumpers always said that they knew trump was a moron but liked his policy. Biden people still defend him from the rooftops. No willingness to even SEE the problems let alone squeak out a drop of disappointment (look at how some very intelligent people have had the blindness to say that 21 dangerous people being caught at the border was actually an accomplishment! Even though millions of pounds of fentanyl, gang bangers and rapists got the green light by those same ‘accomplishers’. blows. my. mind.) Nope, you are it.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant“Will the Coffee Room condemn Musk if he lets the antisemites run free on Twitter?”
When only the anti semites are allowed to run free on twitter it is a problem. When everyone is allowed to run free there is nothing to complain about.
My fervent wish is that nobody with any sense of religious morals visits twitter, or any other sight affording them to exposure of things not spiritually healthy, and if they can’t help themselves, then they shouldn’t bring it here.🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantGH – Guess my not reading his post sent me barking up the wrong tree
🙂🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantya know I used to think your obsession with trump and his every move was funny. Then it was entertaining, then it got kind of sad. After everyone but you and jackk forgot about him and you continue to follow him every move it seemed a bit worrisome. I think it is closing in on pathetic. And yes, I am aware that my opinion is irrelevant, but since you continue to report regularly on his minute to minute in a public forum, ive decided im entitled to voice my opinion.
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantMoishe – exactly. But how you can’t see your own self in the mirror is a bit of a puzzle. Is your tunnel really that long and narrow?
🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantWrong
