For the marriage to be valid, you need *only one* of three things: kesef (ring), shtar (kesuba) or biah (yichud). Any one of those being valid and the marriage is valid. So you would need to invalidate all three before even questioning whether the marriage is valid.
swietMemberWithout even getting into the technology daniela advocated, one can simply use a browser plugin to remove web advertisements. This would, presumably, get rid of the Yahoo ads.
swietMemberIf it is an American credit card, it is easy to call your credit card company and request a “charge-back” (also called a dispute). Claim the charges were unauthorized. Tell them charges agreed to were different (and explain.) If your son is not on your credit card as an “authorized user”, also claim the contract was not signed by yourself or an authorized cardholder. If he is an authorized cardholder, claim the signed agreement does not allow the merchant to make those extra charges.
swietMemberOneOfMany: Is it your contention that affirmative action (a/k/a reverse discrimination) is a form or iteration of equality? If not, how would you characterize it?
swietMembertsharer: The major difference is Tendler is widely disputer as to his status. Those talmidei chachomim (9 out of 10 listed plus the 10th “somewhat”, as you so eloquently put it) that you defamed by saying you do not respect them (and yes saying you don’t respect a talmid chochom is being m’vaze talmidei chachomim) are universally agreed to as their status as talmidei chachomim.
Even you admit those nine listed talmidei chachomim are talmidei chachomim. So you do not have a leg to stand on even according to yourself.
swietMemberCharlie: The top execs who got caught (as happens and is reported every 4 or 5 years) got away with it for decades before getting some promotion or something and it coming out. And compare that to the countless many many more who never got caught up. So, yeah, you can be fired. But meanwhile you had a high-paying job for many years that you would never otherwise have had. Oh, and show me a prosecution please for having an incorrect college degree listed on a CV. It never happens. And if you dig up some one in a million such thing, it is less likely than winning the lottery. Compare it to all the times that someone is caught and, at worst, he loses the job (he never would have otherwise have gotten) and nothing more. And the chances of even that much occurring is tiny.
you are wrong though. so stop trying to post that point.

swietMemberIt doesn’t follow you. Former employers don’t pass on negative info, as a general rule, since they are afraid of getting sued. (If it went to court the former employer will have the burden of proof to demonstrate the info they passed on was accurate, and most corporations don’t want the burden even if they feel they are correct.) And worse comes to worse you can omit that employer from your CV.

???? ?????? ????? ????
Which begets the question, why don’t we make this brocha on a Bas Mitzva girl?
swietMemberI’m talking about applying for a national/international company not a heimishe one. So your point about YK and forgiveness is incorrect in this case.
swietMemberMorahRach: What’s the biggie? Worse comes to worse you lose the job. But meanwhile you had a job for X number of years that you wouldn’t have had if you didn’t touch up the resume. As far as applying for your next job, they’ll never know about it. Firstly, companies are typically petrified to tell another perspective employer any negative info (usually they’ll only confirm name, title and length of service). But if it is a problem, you can always leave that job off your resume. (Fill it with something else.)
swietMemberJust put you have a college degree on your resume even if you don’t. It is almost never checked by companies when applying for a job. Many high execs did it and once in a blue moon it gets in the news on rare occasion when they get promoted and it causes a hitch. But this is after many decades of being paid through the nose due to claiming the degree.
swietMemberI think she is a poor excuse of a human being and total venom..
Thank you for sharing.
