this situation is common….from experience I would advise you to act with much care.
firstly try to put yourself in your child’s shoes-
I strongly believe the child does NOT think lets test my parents nor does he think I want to be bad.
the child does not view it wrong maybe a heart to heart talk explaining what you feel as apparent and giving reasons not related to rabbonim don’t allow its totally assur, since the child has heard it all before and it does not make an impact rather it just flows out his ear’s.
by giving over how you feel..you can then come to a compromise such as a filter..give back for lock up time …or buying films that are frum and jewish…a child cannot be to restricted as it may lead to a bad ending.
you want a frum child to follow your ways maybe let loose a little, to provent major problems.
suli97MemberA relative of mine married thinking that he was a top guy,
being that she was a top girl she didn’t know what to do when she was shown otherwise.
my thoughts on such matters is that if the guy has nice middos, is a pleasant boy (generally around his in laws)than it doesn’t equal divorce…since that’s an essence of a human everyone wants a loving, caring, fun spouse yet if let down by the profile told to you than it takes time to move over and accept yet stay strong in area’s and beliefs.
suli97Memberwe had a number of weird cleaners:
one stole my mothers earing’s and wore them the next day claiming it a gift from her husband!!
another(abt5yrs ago) heard me sing and told me she can bring her ipod for me to listern to “music”..she asked me why my religion was better than hers!!(fired instantly)
another wanted to take my baby sister to the park…(my mother said no) the next day she disappeared……THANK HASHEM she never took her!!!!!
oh and one pushed my sister off the piano as she wanted 2 play and lay on the floor acting out as my baby sister!!!!!!!!!!!!….goodbye ella!
commonsence: I cant stop laughing….wow the cleaning lady must of had a hard day!!!….couldn’t make it home b4 she died!! haha

suli97MemberI was in a south African restaurant the last customer there on a late motzi Shabbos.
I ordered a pizza..out came a small pie which tasted unusually sweet …too sweet as I lifted part of it with my fork to give some to my father I noticed the back had a pattern of a waffle…that explained the sweetness!!!!!!!!!!
it was the weirdest thing I ever had!!!!
suli97Memberrochel….who today would give up their husband (to-be) even for the millions!!!!
rochel saved us, only in her zechus Hashem was willing to save us from boval.
Golfer- its never to late to change…we could never be like them even if we tried…the point is to take from them as much as we could.
