    Well, well. Only 2 “Josephs” are perfect?

    I’ll get back off my high horse now. Sorry to offend you again mod.

    I don’t see existentialism, but I do see a Schroedinger’s Cat analogy. Before you look at the bite you took (measurement), you have eaten and not eaten a worm. Paradoxical.

    But Mod 80 is right, if when you look at the apple you don’t see a remnant of a worm then you most likely did not eat a worm.

    SJS- as I’m sure you know, the successive halves do sum to 1.

    (No, I didn’t get engaged, if I’m single.)

    and

    engaged to twins

    Let’s use symbolic logic here.

    S=Single

    E=Got Engaged

    Statement 1: S–>~E

    Statement 2: E

    ergo (Modus tollens) ~S.

    You’re married, and now you’re engaged to twins. I find this disturbing.

    Squeak in the supporting role (where has she been lately?)

    She?!

    Never mind that I have fallen so out of favor as to not even garner a nomination here (funniest poster popa indeed, harumph; most informed poster Wolf, charlie – bah), no- now I must be subjected to accusations of effeminacy too.

    I’m fine, thanks for askin’. Now excuse me while I go have a good cry.

    apushteayid,

    Seforim are pretty clear on the matter. But regardless of what fulfillment he may have had, I doubt all of his 1,000 wives had what you could call fulfilling marriage.

    I’m not very into music. I found out about this yesterday, at my Chanuka party (see the jokes thread), when one of the young ‘uns started singing it.

    The best comment on the song came from a 3 year old who exclaimed, “That’s a goyishe song!”.

    “Why is it goyish?” (the 3 year old has certainly not ever heard the original)

    He replied, “Because we don’t flip latkes in the air, it’s food!”

    2) It is a joke

    Landfills may become a very significant source of natural gas in the next 20-30 years. Waste management is pretty sophisticated these days.

    Care to weigh in on whether these man made natural gas deposits will outweigh the amount of oil we’d save by reducing our consumption of plastics?

    Technology is what you should be thinking of when you want to innovate. If you want a suggestion, you can work on wireless neurotransmitters that transfer learning to the human brain. If you can perfect it, kids around the world will drink to your name for saving them from 12-30 years of school.

    All I said was that I have demonstrated my original point. You persist in comparing a wife to a house, which proves you don’t have one.

    That is a totally X-ian concept. They are the ones who took a plus sign and made something else out of it. Do you want to start a new religion based on a new use for a minus sign, CH”V?

    Seriously, man, we can all tell how single you are.

    What married man compared his wife to a HOUSE? Sheesh. You’re not even supposed to tell her she could stand to lose 5 pounds, let alone that she’s as big as a house.

    Any married man who makes a comment like yours would undergo a change in status 🙂

    Wolf-

    Is it statistically safer than having a professional driver chauffeur you from place to place? I don’t mean a taxi, of course. Technically speaking, it’s not fair to compare air travel to other forms of transportation because air travel is predominantly commercial and piloted by highly skilled professionals.

    Now if we started allowing every 17 year old to take a 747 to the mall every week and to 7-11, then we could compare.

    Personally, I wasn’t aware that this poster was part of our family. But then, you weren’t aware of some of my family members either. LINK What kind of brothers are we if we don’t even know the same relatives? And how comoe I wasn’t invited to the party? I assume it’s tonight- I’ll be there.
