SparklyMemberi still havent forgiven her and its been a month now. i stopped talking to her and b’h i barely have thought about her since i have SO MUCH stuff going on. just the other day someone reminded me of her and people keep bringing her up in conversations and being like so “how is she” since they knew that i use to be friends with her and i dont know what to respond. what should i say?
September 1, 2016 3:49 am at 3:49 am in reply to: Mochel Loch… time to forgive and be forgiven! #1184946SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – totally fine. do you forgive me? i hope everyone on here forgives me????
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – a non jewish teacher asking their student what passover is and what they enjoyed most about it so my response was that i was bad at explaining it and that i loved everything. also i DONT read all threads because if it sounds boring to me then i dont read it. some threads i feel like i wouldnt be interested in reading.
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – you are a halacha teacher and MOST halacha teachers are very STRICT when it comes to things like tznius. so i wouldnt be surprised to see you dressed EXTREMELY tznius not even for a second your skirt is touching your knee. out of curiosity how long does your skirt need to be besides for what my rav says what is your opinion?
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – i know this is random but since your a halacha teacher i want to ask you an interesting question. what should i tell a teacher when they ask about our holidays because it has happened and probably will again? i usually get shocked and am quiet because its out of the most random time.
SparklyMembermy question is it a person?
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – its fine ill go next time h’h. please answer the post that i was asking about what dates our holidays are on so i can tell my teachers so that way they can work out that i wont be there.
SparklyMemberthe game still not over? i thought we decided it was koheles?!?!
SparklyMemberIt is Time for Truth – thats cool but i live in philadelphia.
SparklyMembercharliehall – i know MANY girls who do that!!
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – you did it out of sarcasm so its different.

September 1, 2016 12:33 am at 12:33 am in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175342SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – what do you mean by that? that i was bording at a not jewish college? how would that be if i saw a guy who lives at a yeshiva and goes to that yeshiva and goes to my college?!?!
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – i took it in a way meaning that the ones before were no good.
SparklyMembermeno – because im marrying a guy that i DO like even if he works or doesnt.
August 31, 2016 8:30 pm at 8:30 pm in reply to: Why do working people tend to not be as ruchniyus as Kollel people? #1177001SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – that people who work dont have as much ruchnioys as people who do work.
SparklyMemberMeno – thats insulting…
August 31, 2016 8:01 pm at 8:01 pm in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175340SparklyMemberwhy are their soooooo many bjj and bnos sarah girls that go to my college?!?! (not being sarcastic) i have a girl from one of those seminaries in my class not saying which class!
August 31, 2016 7:57 pm at 7:57 pm in reply to: Why do working people tend to not be as ruchniyus as Kollel people? #1176999SparklyMemberThere are MANY people who work who learn plenty and are always doing chessed so that is NOT true.
SparklyMemberWinnieThePooh – A pharmacologist is according to learn.org “Pharmacology is the study of toxicology and drugs. As a pharmacologist, you’ll be a type of medical scientist, and you’ll work in laboratories testing the effects of drugs on the human body. You’ll study how drugs are absorbed into the human system and how they medically react in the body. You may also study how drugs work in animals. You’ll develop new drugs by adding and subtracting ingredients until you reach the desired effect of the new drug.” According to chron.com a pharmacist is “Pharmacists may follow career tracks that provide opportunities beyond dispensing prescription drugs in a store. Pharmacists also conduct extensive research into new drugs and their reactions. Pharmacists in academia delve into the research behind the discovery and testing of new medicines. In pharmaceutical companies, pharmacists often are employed to oversee research projects”.
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid- no its not. i thought halacha teachers were suppose to be VERY religious like no internet? why do you have internet?
Mammele – amen! no one comments on my long hair besides to get it dyed and styled since i like leaving it in a pony tail and never doing anything to it.
SparklyMemberabsan – i want to have MUCH more to life than just school and work! but chemistry and biology will refuse that! i would be sad if trump loses because i dont want clinton.
SparklyMemberHappygirlygirl – so im right wing since i try going by halacha?
SparklyMemberabsan – thank you. you would be MUCH more impressed by the way i use to be before i became mo. but once i left high school and went to a not jewish college my life changed dramatically and whenever i try becoming more religious someone ALWAYS has to ruin it. so i gave up. and ill just marry a guy who more mo or the type of guy i was talking about who doesnt talk to girls and so on if thats the best i can get not saying his not a good boy but his leaning on the mo side.
SparklyMemberabsan – amen. thats what i pray to G-d every day to ask for.
SparklyMemberwhat about tips to help stressed out college students?
SparklyMemberif my guy wants to go to kollel so be it. if my guy wants to go to work so be it. i dont care as long as his a good frum boy.
SparklyMemberHappygirlygirl – b’h glad to here:)
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – yes you are! while others like me have to go to college. so lucky you! my parents dont want me to become a teacher and my mom was a teacher! they said because it cost so much to become a teacher and you dont make that much as a teacher so its not worth it.
SparklyMemberi love sparkles and glittery things thats why i chose sparkly.
SparklyMemberHappygirlygirl – sorry to hear that. how would i know that someone i NEVER met had cancer before?!?! im not being selfish if i donated my hair to chai lifeline which i did. also im becoming a pharmacist to do research to come up with medicines for people who have cancer and stuff like that. also i have a sibling that has not cancer chasvichallila but something as bad not saying because otherwise people might be able to figure out who i am and thats the MAIN reason why im becoming a pharmacist to find a cure for that sibling and that made me want to become a pharmacist. but i DONT like saying the reason why im becoming a pharmacist but thats the reason why.
SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – so lucky wish i could teach that. i LOVE halacha MUCH more than science even tho i LOVE biology and hate chemistry.
SparklyMemberabsan – i do. i daven, i go to SHIURIM that i actually LOVE!!!!!
SparklyMemberComlink-X – what do you mean by right wing?
SparklyMemberabsan – i really am scared of cutting my hair in case i dont like it. i grew it out for years. so you cant just be like it will grow right back. you mean in another 7 years???
August 31, 2016 1:02 am at 1:02 am in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175337SparklyMemberHappygirlygirl – i told someone that i liked him and try to make it NOT obvious that i do and she said that i do a good job at that and that you cant tell that i like him. its as if im some random girl to him. so it is tznius b’h.
August 31, 2016 1:01 am at 1:01 am in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175336SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – same guy. i did say he didnt talk to girls. so how did he say hi to me if he didnt know me thru my brother and doesnt talk to girls?
SparklyMemberHappygirlygirl – my WHOLE life my hair has been ridiculously LONG i cant imagine chopping it all off. my hair is longer than most if not all people including goyim that i meet.
SparklyMemberabsan – i do NOT want to chop off my hair. no thanks. i worked so hard to grow it out. the last time i got a haircut was when i donated it and it was up to my shoulders. i could probably donate now twice and still have shoulder length hair. long hair is gorgeous. i use to want to cut my hair “short” as in like 2 inches past my shoulders but never got around to it. maybe i will when i get married and cover my hair h’h since i dont know how i plan on sticking all my hair under a sheitel when its so LONG!!
SparklyMemberHealth – unfortunately some doctors do it for the money.
August 30, 2016 10:39 pm at 10:39 pm in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175332SparklyMemberyekke2 – im waiting for the shadchan to set us up tho unfortunately… and he keeps saying his not ready to get married yet h’h soon he will be and then the shidduch will hopefully work h’h.
August 30, 2016 10:38 pm at 10:38 pm in reply to: women and guys in a not jewish college together #1175331SparklyMemberlilmod ulelamaid – yes it is! especially since his in a typical yeshiva and technically a typical frum boy but he loves doing stuff that mo boys do without breaking shomer, or hanging out with girls! so its exactly what i need! so its a perfect shidduch!
SparklyMemberShopping613 – i usually keep my hair in a pony because otherwise its just annoying to have…
SparklyMemberabsan – thats what my mother said that TOO LONG hair is NOT tznius like my length. it is common sense dont you see people walking around with hair that is past their waist that they look like they havent cut for years just like mine?
SparklyMemberMeno – haha.
August 30, 2016 7:58 pm at 7:58 pm in reply to: does anyone know about jchs (gratz jewish community high school)? #1174311SparklyMemberMRS PLONY – yes thats where i live.
