Actually high school. I have never been called a troll before, so that was interesting. Then again this is the first forum that I’ve joined… so that means that one of my first forum posts was judged as troll-like by another member.
As for Sparkle, if it’s you then it’s you. Who doesn’t know many Menachem Mendels? Perhaps sometimes someone named Patrick becomes a Menachem Mendel.
The story is long with a history and for another audience.
Nice to meet you too <3

sparkledoutMemberWas it wrong to talk to a JW on Shabbos? A JW woman knocked on our door on Shabbos afternoon.
Dd ran to the door because she was expecting Bubby (dunno why she thought that Bubby would be knocking because we leave the door unlocked for her specifically on Shabbos and dd is 10 and knows that but whatever she was probably excited).
Anyway I was horrified that the JW lady walked into our foyer with a JW magazine and some phone app or something that she was showing dd. I thanked the lady for stopping by and said that we are Jewish and asked her to take us off their address list (do they have something like that? A do not disturb list?). I didn’t know what to do.
Dh was napping and told me that I should have woken him up.
sparkledoutMemberPopa Bar Abba you asked:
What is the best kind of double stroller, and is it ok if I’m in kollel and get a bugaboo even though my sister in law only has an uppababy and her husband is a rich working boy? Does it go on stairs?
My reply:
Okay so I don’t know enough about the Bugaboo from personal experience but my sister’s first Bugaboo was stolen. Baruch Hashem now she has insurance coverage on her new one. Who knew that Geico covered vehicles for toddlers?! Moral of the story: Make sure that if you’re going the Bugaboo route, you have protection.
IMHO Please Remember to Keep in Mind:
The weight & size of the stroller*. I found that the Baby Trend Expedition Double Jogger, which weighs 32.5lbs to be the easiest to go up stairs when I am not breast-feeding. Though you will have to push it up step by step.
And… Why are you paying attention to someone else’s husband’s parnassah? Are you neglecting your husband in the process c”v?
*The larger the stroller the smaller your waist appears. The heavier the stroller the lighter your husband’s mood will be. Seriously this must have to do with some halachic science or something but all my friends and neighbors and even my kallah teacher attest to this truth B”H
(edited to put the extra B in Abba ~ thanks)

sparkledoutMemberOh btw Sparkly… my sn has no relation to yours. Sparkle used to be my name (nick name but it was so official that I even turned in essays with “Sparkle” instead of my given name) — Sparkledout = Sparkle out of the closet (I am straight, so not that kind of closet… I just mean like being outspoken and etc).
Kay love you shalom
sparkledoutMemberHow can I convince my husband to buy another washer?
We already have two dryers because I’m always washing towels and they take more than a cycle to dry enough to kill the dustmites*.
Anyway it’s going to cost around 1k and we’re already strapped for tuition money. Plus our laundry room has no space. Seriously my husband and I cannot walk past each other in the room when I’m niddah. So maybe it will go in the garage? Or is that weird?
WWYD?
*Our children and gerbil have dustmite allergies.
