10 x 12 and only i use it. it does feel a bit empty sometimes…but its really nicely decorated and i spend the entire day in my sukkah although i sleep indoors.

i have problems with that. theres no more or less. you either identify with orthodox or you dont. theres no in between. and the only possible justifiable reason to ever go to a conservative temple is if there legitimately is no other alternative and even that is questionable.
as far as im concerned there is no justification at all for conservative judaism whatsoever.

heres where im confused. why the conservative apologetics?! i mean for goodness sake! look at how they started. i dont care how l’shem shamayim it was (or at least according to the guy who started it) its WRONG. since its inception it has been wrong. especially now that its become more of a political statement than a religious identity (much in the same way that reform has). “i dont think of X as moral…i dont think hashem would have wanted that so lets change it” really. but…hashem just said not to…whatever…
all of you who are defending conservative judaism in this thread are pulling wild yotzim min haklal out of a borsalino and saying “oh please go easy on conserative…they have one or two tzaddikim in s’dom” shkoyach. i know a conservative girl who just married a goy. her parents pray in a conservative temple and she married a goy. why? not because of some rebellious nature thing…but because her parents didnt give a blasted darn about who she dated or fooled around with as long as she didnt do the deed until she married (which is a sham anyway). so is it any surprise that she married a goy? the parents are gonna pay for the wedding because “whatever makes their daughter happy.” you know whos crying and reissing kriya? the grandparents who are orthodox.
the conservative movement started on the premise that “oy siz shver tzu zein a yid so lets make it easier.” STOP! i dont care what you think you know about halacha and hashkafah or anything torah related. just look at how it started. as far as im concerned there is no dan lekaf zechus where conservative is concerned. the only possible thing to be said about this generation of conservative jews is “tinok shenishba” but once someone is made aware that their form of judaism is flawed and why…i have problems accepting any excuses.

as far as dinosaurs, i was always told that they were the resulting offspring of animal crossbreeding before the mabul due to the sheer level of corruption and immorality in the world.
there are ways of spoofing multiple IP addresses from one computer for example using TOR or some other kind of onion routing proxy…but there are always signatures such as crosses across nodes on the TOR networks, common hosts used over and over which can appear on a traceroute…so even if they couldnt track you they could tell that you’ve been messing with proxies and could invalidate the petition. don;t play shtick with this.

in any case, TBH i don’t think any of the stores like hat box or right place are good places to shop. customer service and selection is always terrible, and quite often, so is quality. try jos a bank, but you need to be prepared to put $50 into shatnes removal as their suits have a 50% chance of shatnes.
im not seeing a problem saying that chazal were wrong. and no it casts no aspersions on their knowledge of torah much in the same way i would think no less of a physician who got something wrong in the area of botany. i would still trust that doctor with my life much in the same way i still trust chazal on all the torah they taught and learned even though i believe that they were flat out wrong about certain scientific observations.
