Anyone ever noticed how MANY quiet girls suddenly become not so quiet after they’re married. Marriage brings some kind of self confidence to the girls and many girls’ true personality really shine only once they’re married.

Well, some people do go, although separately. Possible that some couples go together but I didn’t hear of that.

Or you call your rav and discuss it with him, tell him all details and get a bracha. Each side separately. Boy speaks to his rav, girl (or girl’s father)to her rav.

BOREDGUY- you don’t HAVE to ask a rav b4 you marry someone. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable getting married without the haskama and more important, the bracha of a godol. Hatzlacha.

Well, thurs night he posted and his posts were deleted HOURS later. I was sure he was blocked, but surprisingly enough, when I went online motzei shbbs, he had a post in every single thread. Some included the four letter word and some just had dumb, childish posts.

Since then he didn’t post so let’s hope..

The prob is that many others can decide to post like he did.believe me, you didn’t want to read it.

Anyone else that saw his posts last friday? I’m scared pple will stop believing me!!!

HIE- they’re gone obviously. The mods removed them. They were terrible.

No prob- ur entitled to ur opinions. I really don’t care. But its foolish to say that pple should leave just because you didn’t have what to say.

If you didn’t see the posts, then you have zero clue what were talking about. Usually people don’t join the conversation if they don’t know what its all about.

Don’t get me wrong, I love when you join cponversations. But please check ur facts first.

HIE- everyone, including you is entitled to state their opinion here. That’s what the CR’s purpose is. We KNOW we can leave. If you can’t think of a response to some of the controversies that take place here, then you don’t HAVE to respond. Its fine.

But if you would see those posts that were up here then you wouldn’t like it either. If it wouldn’t bother you then you have a VERY BIG problem.

And BTW, no one’s complaining. Were just stating our basic expectations for a website that was always filtered so perfectly and names itself “yeshiva”.

First of all Please don’t take my words so personal.

Second of all, while I know every post is not so carefully scrutinized here,I still believe that mods scan each post for inappropriate context, because overall we only have kosher news here.

Please don’t make a whole issue out of this. There was some very inapproriate conversations here so I was trying to see if any other posters dislike this new moderating system.

I’m not a mod and I can’t change the system, nor do the mods use me as their consultant.

It was just a conversation to hear others’ opinion on this matter.

Ill be very happy if they go back to their old, stricter way of not posting before they moderate, but that doesn’t mean that you have to want it too.

Jphone-no they were not attacks against anyone. They were also not words that were offending to anyone. It was plain very dirty context. And if you don’t get it, then forget it, this thread is not for you.

We come to YW because we know we will only read kosher things here. With those posts that were up here, I couldve been watching the latest movie(and not just any movie).

Such behavior will not be tolerated here.
