Interesting. Never heard of that. I’m just surprised because I know that Frum Jews have been gambling in many places as a game. But I guess it doesn’t make it right if “everybody” does it!

Can someone explain to me why gambling is stealing? I’ve never gambled but can’t imagine how those two come together?

Cedarhurst- I’m sure you don’t need my “brainy” advice, but I’m wondering if you don’t try to do private jobs.

Many IT techs go around to businesses on their own.

It’s not a set wage/hours, but people do it for a living for years.

I can’t understand why a woman trusts herself.

Both spouses should always be present when internet is in use.

    Prepare some cakes and fruits.

Invite some family over. Cut your son’s hair. Put on his Tzitzis and make a Bracha with him.

    What more do you need?

TMB- I actually read up on it this past week and watched the video on it.

Bomb- it really looked interesting on the video. I thought it was amazing. But I wonder if I’ll have the same problems with it like you do.

As of now I’m not buying a new computer, so I guess I’ll have to wait around for my chance to try it!

If you keep Cheshbon really good exactly what you put onto your card, and pay your bills on time, then it’s great.

I’m using a CC for years for everything(even groceries), and we never paid a bill late. We’re accumulating good points and already have enough for 2 international tickets.

It’s great. But in opposition, it’s terrible for people who aren’t on top of it.

Shticky guy- what makes you think so? If I required about him, that makes me him?

Tomorrow I’ll inquire about you and I’ll become YOU!!

Anyway, if you’d know D a, you wouldn’t ask this hilarious question.

I think the boring threads happen because anything thats a bit more interesting or controversial gets closed very soon.

Cutiepie- of course there’ll be much getting used to. However, keep in mind that your husband IYH will have to get used to many things about you too!

Some things can be worked on(showers for exapmle- if you ask him to shower every day, he might comply. Please save the question for after you’re married!)

Some things you will just have to live with. Therefore, while dating, you TRY(we can never be sure), that nothing will bother you that much that it will grate your nerves for life.

Anyway, if you’re really happy, then the little things don’t bother too much.

Don’t forget you two grew up in different families after all. That’s what marriage is. It’s working on your Middos and being happy!

    Hatzlacha!

I don’t see any problem with the dolls.

They definitely don’t promote any untznius ideas or perfection in looks.

I think it’s amazing for children’s imagination and fantasy. It makes play life come so real.

I can understand why people wouldn’t spend such high amounts on a doll, but that’s already an individual opinion as to where you want to spend your money.

    Frumlady- that’s funny!

Reminds me of one night my husband called Sprint and the rep, who was obviously new there, was excusing herself saying that Sprint is having a major “updation”.

She repeated this word about 3 times during the conversation.

(When the updation is complete…bla bla bla.)

She definitely needs some English language skills updation :D.

Woman need Shmirah too. If somebody denies that, then they are lying.

Men need it more, true. But enough stories surfaced after women spent too much time on the internet unobserved, and they reached wrong sites/people.

    My husband.

I think it would do good to anyone to be their spouse for a day! It would give us a better understanding of how to treat and respect them.

It would also help us understand them better.

TMB- please explain this nonsense to me:

You allow yourself to sit on a filtered internet, but others may not sit on filtered TV(where they filter exactly what they see and what they won’t).

    Such bluff.

Of course it’s not appropriate to display too much love between each others. The kids don’t feel comfortable.

But children must see that parents live happily and get along more than “nicely” and they should know that Totty and Mommy are a close knit

    team.

and spouses are not so much expected to be each other’s “best friends.”

    Not necessarily true at all.

We are taught all our years that our spouse will be the most important thing to us when married.

Married Chassidish couples are best friends. They might not look it cuz they would never act “mushy” in public.
