My hub & I are very giving people. We give lots of Charity.
When we have to keep telling callers- sorry we cant give, it just makes you feel like some Bad person after a while.

Simple Jew- if someone is hardworking & earns enough to afford some luxuries, he should definitely have some luxuries.
We are Mechiyuv to give 10% of our earnings to charity, the rest is ours to keep.
Of course it’s beautiful to give more. But it doesn’t mean Yeshivos should come down people’s throat & bother them non stop about donations, donations, donations….
YOGI- Please don’t bring in having many children here. It’s not your business. Let everyone have the amount of children they wish, but they should do everything legally.
It’s really hard for us “middle class” people who cannot get these govt programs.
However, like I said before, I think it’s totally senseless to talk about this online, since you can get so many people into trouble.

Simple Jew- there’s some limit to how much patience one has to keep saying-“sorry I cant give anything now…”
They should stop calling. They should only Call their close people.
I don’t even know who half of those organizations are.
Simple Jew- thats exactly it. I have my own causes to give to. If I have Any extra money to give, I have many organizations to donate to before those unknown organization who call me.
& yes, when I get close to 10 such phone calls EVERY day, it is very annoying.
Simple Jew- Please remember that your Yeshive is only ONE out of about 50 organization to Call our homes….it is so annoying.

I cant believe how people literally get offended if someone picks up the beep while speaking to them.

Yes, sometimes, there are phone calls that are more important than you.
Or if you know that the click will just take one minute, there’s nothing wrong in picking up.

It’s very hurtful when I see people on FS & Medicaid,because they hide assets, when I’m paying sky rocketing taxes & working hard.
There isn’t much you can do bout it, & I don’t think it’s the smartest idea to talk about it here on some public forum.

If you’re taking care of yourself well(medications, therapist etc) you can live normal & happy life.
I know many people who are happily married & have some mental illnesses, thanks to them taking care of their problems.

I just wanted to point out to you, that if the child will miss the parents so terribly, to the point where he’ll be miserable nd crying all day, then the parents will usually NOT leave them over.
We only leave our beloved children behind if we know they’ll be happy & well taken care of while we’re gone.
Yogi- I buy wrinkle free too. But it doesn’t mean anything. For some reason I think they meant to say that the wrinkles you buy for free….;)
